Impressive place. I'm sure the spring and summer is beautiful, but still a nice outing for winter. We have a military discount membership and paid off immediately!

Great grounds, very relaxing. Excellent venue for events.
Love this park's true natural wilderness, and that it has several excess points directly to lake Michigan. Loved the amphibian pond with a very nice solid wooden walkway around it. I like that you can choose many paths to take around the park. Definitely an awesome park to visit.
We recently came into town for a wedding at the nature center and wow! What a beautiful space! I will definitely be back to walk the trails.
Beautiful and educational place. Love to walk around the grounds and the lake.
Great hiking trails to see Lake Michigan, woodlands, wetlands, and prairie habitats. Breathtaking views from the 60' tower, boardwalks around (and through) lakes and ponds. The small nature center includes live animals like a snapping turtle. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing! Great Lake Michigan views just add to the awesomeness of this place. I was lucky enough to land here on Xtreme Raptor Day. They have all their raptors out to see. It's a special day. Anytime of year is great to visit.
Very beautiful and clean. Raptor show was very informational
Visited this place in the fall and summer, and both trips were equally pleasant. The trails are nice and long, though it feels like you're never far from where you started. They have a path through the hills, a winding trail through a prairie, a boardwalk over a pond, a tower with a great view of the lake, and so much more. If you're looking to visit a nice nature preserve for a few hours and enjoy the weather and Midwest nature at its finest, be sure to stop here.
Visited the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center while I was in town for the Audubon Convention 2019. I visited everyday just to see new birds. I photographed cardinals, black-capped chickadees, a blue jay, and so much more. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and serene. The educational facilities on site are amazing. I love that they have preschools there.
Great place!!! Came here on a field trip for my son's school. There was some great stuff to learn and fun activities for the kids. Very worth your time!
This calm nature center has a tall watchtower overlooking the lake. The visitor center is clean and has cool exhibits to learn about the plants and wildlife in the area.
Very pretty. Well made paths, and a ton of turtles!
Amazing organization with wonderful programs and nice hiking.
Attended a wedding catered by Zilli Hospitality Group. Beautiful setting, wedding and amazing food. The night was magical especially as the sun set and reflected off the water as the bride and groom took photos down by the lake.
Very family-oriented place with lots of trails and exhibits. Though with the pandemic, some exhibits are closed. Staff are very friendly here. Only thing is some of the trails need to be trimmed.
What a peaceful and beautiful place. It brings be so much joy to also know that they have a preschool program where children get to learn year-round in this environment.
Wonderful trails! Beautiful nature area! Extreme Raptor day was awesome... I highly recommend this place! The turtles (especially Emerson) are captivating. Only reason for four stars is due to some trails being difficult to traverse due to mud, but I know they are obviously working to improve this (some boardwalks are under construction).
Very nice facility. Good parking. Indoor bathrooms. Gift shop. Friendly and helpful staff.
Actually went to a wedding here and it was such a great venue
Great views. Great hikes. Very educational and entertaining for children
Beautiful place, wonderful for the kids. Able to get out and take a walk though the woods and back home in an hour. Always a lot of great programs for the kids. Annual membership is more than worth it.
Beautiful place. Great trails. Lots of wild life. Welcoming nature center. Super kid friendly
Great nature preserve with hiking and a tower to view the lake and above the trees.
I love going to run here and be in nature. There is a trail by the lake and a really nice meadow trail. The only thing that I would caution about this place is getting married here. Space is limited, and you have to shut it down early due to neighbors.
Great nature center with easy hiking trails to get you about.
Great walking paths. Some paths through prairies, some through woods, some down to Lake Michigan. Great tower you can climb up on stairs. You can see over all the trees and a gorgeous view of the lake. Knowledge and friendly staff. Beautiful lodge and learning center. Great for families and anyone looking for a little peace and quiet on a trail.
First time there...very impressive. Keep up the good work. Very family oriented.
What a cool little gem in Milwaukee! It is just BEAUTIFUL. We especially enjoyed seeing Sky Walker, their resident red tail hawk!!
Nice walk from the park to the lake/beach, around a bog, good nature center, and an observation tower that is in the upper canopy (in the tree tops).
What a gem! Can't believe I just discovered this place and it is an Outdoor nature paradise!
Great place eveyone should have a membership to the center. So much to see and do..
The employees are friendly and helpful and the views are amazing.
We really love it here. The trails are beautiful and it is very well maintained. The nature center itself is beautiful. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is that the urban ecology centers in Milwaukee created the same thing and are just a bit more family friendly inside with lots of seats and things for the kids to see.
Amazing experience! We spent 5 hours here that started with a birthday party where a guide showed us some reptiles and took us on a hike, we then walked along the coast on our own for a while, and finished up our day listening to a performance by digbii. My son was completely entranced by them (they were amazing)! This is a perfect place for a party, a quick visit, or an all day excursion.
Very cool nature center. Knowledgeable volunteer team. Great place to view and learn about birds and other cridders. Bring your kids and leave a donation... worth it!
Take a short but scenic hike in the woods for a peaceful view of Lake Michigan.
Found it online and didn't realize there was a charge. Drove all the way there and saw the sign at the entrance. I drove up to the window to tell them that I was just going in to turn around because I couldn't afford the entrance fee. The lovely woman at the window had me fill out a paper and let us in. My family and I have been struggling lately and this huge piece of Goodwill made a massive amount of difference in our day and lives. It was a beautiful place to be and I am grateful for all the employees who work there especially the woman at the entrance to the park who made mine and my family's day.
What a beautiful venue for my son & new daughter-in-law's wedding reception. Can't wait to visit again to explore the center.
Great for people of any age. Lot's of nice trails. Can walk right to the beach. Great view from the tower.
This is a beautiful venue for a wedding. I would recommend if you're in the area to check it out!
The most beautiful park in the area. Well worth the admission.
Lovely trails that are well maintained, and great beach access. Prepare for a little bit of mud on the trails!
Wonderful experience taking population samples of fireflies for MPM study.
Super cute nature center and preschool. Great giftshop
Amazing preschool where they fully immerse the kids in the outdoors while teaching so much more than I expected. They seem to reinforce the curiosity and foster the drive to learn and understand the world around us.
Beautiful venue for the wedding we attended. Parking was easy and the entire set up worked so well. Food was also really delicious and the set up for the buffet was well thought out.
extreme raptor day is something we keep coming back to every year.
Safe, outdoors, touching a lake... How could you go wrong? Highly recommend. We still need to get there earlier in the morning.
Membership packet was professional and its just a short drive from Brookfield.
Didn't see any wildlife as I came here for a wedding. Nice reception area. Woodsy--bring mosquito repellent. Plenty of parking
A great park to check out real wildlife. Turkeys, snakes, turtles, frogs, and cool birds everywhere.
Had our wedding there in June, was amazing! We were really lucky with the weather, there were so many great places to take pictures. And the inside of the building was just beautiful. A little expensive for a rental that you have to rent all tables/chairs/etc. separately, but when you look at your wedding photos, definitely worth it!
This place is an awesome natural area with lots of trails in different ecosystems. Gem in overly urbanized Milwaukee county!
Extreme Raptor day. Awesome experiance. Birds, education, outdoor activity for adults and kids. This is a not to be missed day.
Kids loved walking the trails. Can't wait for our next visit for a new adventure.
The preschool is amazing! They get to go on hikes and learn about nature. The land there is so untouched it's beautiful
Great vibe. Went for an event (wedding), but would gladly go anyday.
Beautiful place to take the family. Great place to lake Michigan. good place to see nature
Beautiful. Only 10 miles from downtown Milwaukee and you are a world apart on the shores of lake Michigan.
