Great show. Nice little theatre. Amazing voice talent. If you have a chance, go see one of their shows. I find it hard to imagine that you'd be disappointed.
Great place to take in a show. Great crew of very talented people. We try to catch as many of the shows as possible. Worth the effort to go see.
Shows are great for tourists, but may get stale after a few times for locals. Worth seeing their specials, especially Les Miserables when it's on the lineup.
Great place !!! One of the oldest operating in the USA. Historical. I was at a Christmas service and the place cooperated incredibly with the message that was preached.

I fell off the second story balcony because I saw my old pan Danny from high school and got a little excited. The staff was great too but this crazy lady with shortish hair, light brownish color, was tall and is missing a toe on the left foot told me to go pick up her dinner, and I didn t even know this lady! So of course I did like any fine gentleman would for a village stomper, anyways. It was nice it didn t smell bad, 4 stars for a goodnight- and that was after I fell off the balcony. They were very kind loading me into the ambulance too, that lady that s missing a toe have me a night of her wrap but it was too spicy I had to spit it out.

A good venue for entertainment in Savannah. The theatre has been nicely renovated for current clientele. Parking is a real issue. Come very early, park, have coffee and /or dinner then go to the show.

It's a shame that the word wholesome has such a yucky connotation because this is wholesome entertainment at its best. Anyone who comes to a Savannah has to go see the shows!

Savannah Theater is so cool! I saw W. Bruce Cameron and he did a great job speaking about his books. The Theater is really cool and lovely inside. I encourage anyone to go.

Wonderful time with great pianists and vocalists. They encourage audience participation which really adds to the fun. Hear Billy Joel, Ray Charles, Elton John, the Beatles and more. Great show!
Large (1,100+) venue with easy access, good lighting, sight lines, and good acoustics.
While on a recent trip to Savannah, me and my traveling partner noticed that the Theater was hosting a "Motown" show. We decided to book tickets for the 5pm show the same evening (Saturday, July 7th 2018). The venue is located in the historic district of Savannah, the building is relatively old, reminding me of some opera houses I had the pleasure to visit while in Europe. I personally really enjoyed the look, and although the seats were not the most comfortable the quality of the show more than made up for it. The "motown" show crew was very funny, and the music was well performed and had me singing the tunes on the way out (I wasn't much of a connoisseur on the subject, so it was nice to discover some new music). Overall, given the venue and the quality of the shows that we saw, I can personally recommend this location if you are visiting Savannah and happen to hear that a show will be playing here.

My husband and I saw "jukebox" last night and thought it was SO much fun. All ages were in the audience and seemed to really enjoy it as much as we did. The group is very talented. I will definitely go to one of the group's performances next time we are in Savannah. For a fun night of great entertainment, don't miss the chance to attend a performance at this historic theater.
Affordable, comfortable, a great cast, and they care for the military and their families. Love these guys!!
The illusionists were great, great magic and comedy, haven't laughed that hard in a long while. Great for kids and adults.

This is a perfect community theatre for a city the size of Savannah. It is charming. The programming is a great balance between the locals and the tourists. The local cast is extremely talented and it is a delight to attend events here.
You might say that this is a biased review. I love this show and have never been disappointed with a performance. Whenever we have friends who are looking for a great time in Savannah, we bring them here. Each performance has been a high energy, fun experience. The audience is encouraged to participate...and we all had fun. I highly recommend it.

This place is great. The interior feels like history. For its age the building is very well maintained. Also, the shows at this place are top notch, and the staff and cast are terrific. Very fun place to catch a show.

My family and I love the Savannah Theatre. We go every Christmas without fail to The Christmas Tradition. We also attend about 3 other various shows thoughout the year. Southern Nights, and Beat Goes On were awesome. The recent Mama Mia was lights out. The kids love it too If you are looking for a great place with family friendly entertainment in Savannah, this is it.

Never been, not a huge place, but really enjoyed the Christmas Concert I attended.
Love going to the Savanah Theatre. The cast is awesome, music, skits and performances are absolutely worth the time and cost, which is reasonable. Have been a lot of times and will go back.
