My wife Madeline and I have attended these shows 13 years in a row. Quality, professionalism and fun are words that immediately come to mind. All of their voices have matured and easily compete with the best found anywhere. Matt and Michelle continually bring shows that make this theatre a real Savannah treasure.

Have been to numerous shows at this theater...excellent shows with great cast members. HOWEVER...just walked out of the trailer park show after 45 minutes ... it was totally lame, not at all funny and we were actually embarrassed for the cast ... they are talented and deserve better. Don't waste your time or money on this particular show. We were extremely disappointed.

Just a wonderful time at this historic theater. The Savannah. has a
"feel" about it that makes you drift to the days of live shows and entertainment. The performances by the cast were superb. I have frequented the Gershwin Theater in Manhattan and other top venues and the Savannah ranks right up there with them. If you want some Savannah charm...this is a place to spend twe hours on one of your nights! Totally delightful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This theater is a gem in Historic Savannah. Through out the year they produce a variety of shows. A highlight is the annual Christmas show. It is a beautifully produced and well performed Christmas event not to be missed.

My husband and I went here on a friday night at the end of May for our 1-year anniversary weekend trip and saw "Savannah Live", and I am sooo glad we did this! If I recall, there were 7 "stars" of the show, plus a special guest singer that I'm not going to give away :) 4 guys and three girls who are all so talented. I like how inbetween set changes they would have the band perform something cool to keep up occupied, and the guitar player was HILARIOUS as well with his crazy legs! A great variety of songs, from newer pop music to oldies like the beach boys and elvis. Great variety for all ages, but I can say that my husband and I are in our early 20's, and were definitely some of the youngest people there, but that's okay! It was also nice that they had a 15 minute intermission halfway through so we could get up and stretch our legs.
The ONLY negative I have is that we got there just a a few minutes before it started because we bought tickets weeks ahead of time, and knew our assigned seats so had an usher direct us to them, our tickets said we were in ROW 4, but she obviously sat us in ROW 3, but there was already people in ROW 4 right behind us, so I didn't think anything about it AT FIRST, but then the people whose seats we were now in came up to tell us that those were their seats. So somewhat embarrasses, we had to get up, find another usher (this is now while the show is starting mind you) and they had to then tell the older couple who were in our REAL seats in 4th row to move, we took their seats, and that was the last of it. Just a little but more organization would have been nice :)

Phenomenal shows. Saw both Savannah Live and Rewind. Great performance and an awesome atmosphere. Also very patriotic, something you don't see very often nowadays. Would recommend to anyone of any age. A must see for both travelers and residents alike.

My wife and I went this past Friday and Saturday night to the shows. They were both outstanding performances , very entertaining.
We were here 3 years ago and the talent is still as good as ever.
We are looking forward to our next trip to Savannah so we can take in other shows here.

Disappointing...unless you are among the profoundly deaf. Decibel level is absolutely painful. Could not even concentrate on the show. Management has a ready stash of earplugs, if that tells you anything. Insists that all shows have the same volume level. Great business generator for local audiologists. Save your money and your hearing.

Amazing musicianship. Totally awesome theater productions. Can hang with any of the best NY companies. The Christmas production was unforgettable.

The piano guy is, I take it, the leader of the krewe, but that horn rocked the audience. The players were animated and tremendous voices.

We were amazed.

Went to the Holiday Special show. It was quite good. A large variety of music styles and comedic vs more serious parts. They really seem like a family. Worth a visit if you're visiting Savannah. Theatre could use some updating. There are no lights or railings up in the balcony section so it's very unsafe for people who are elderly or unsteady on their feet. If that describes you then try to get a seat on the floor or in the mezzanine.

I Absolutely Love This theater, it brings back old charm, class, sophistication, and just wonderful shows! Thanks for bringing back a little bit of the Nostalgia that is so lacking in today's world. So, go to Savannah theater you'll be wonderfully PLEASED

Fabulous venue and such a fun cast. Great show! We've been to the Piano men, the Christmas Spectacular, Mamma Mia, and Savannah live. All of them were fabulous. If you have guests in town this is a perfect place to take them.

We were looking forward to a delightful afternoon's entertainment. We had been here before and thoroughly enjoyed it then. This theater has taken 9 to 5 and sleezed it up beyond belief. The sound system was the stuff of nightmares. It was so deafening, that we had to plug our ears with our fingers. Upon asking the management to lower the decibels, we were offered earplugs. We were assured that the sound was "like it always was". We lasted an hour. Save your money and your hearing and miss this one.

Love this place, beautiful intimate theater. We re happy it s slowly re-opening after the pandemic, we saw Mamma Mia front row pre-pandemic and just enjoyed Savannah Cabaret post pandemic...support local theater and artists! Oh and give yourself ample time for parking when attending!

Went to see Mama Mia and had a great view from the balcony. Seating was a little tight but comfortable as they reclined slightly once you sit back. Bathrooms upstairs and downstairs made it easy to access and were both very clean. The lobby area is a bit small and beverages are hard to come by, especially adult drinks if they aren t also serving food. Love the location with great access to other entertainment in downtown.

Wow, really high quality singing and acting. I've been to many B'way shows and Elf definitely rivaled anything I've seen up there. Thanks for the great performance and hope the cast and crew has a great holiday.

A sing-a-long

We took a trip back in time to the music of out youth. The ensemble made us all feel welcomed and singing along was encouraged. They reminded us to appreciate our troops.
