We stayed here at the last minute when visiting the Opera.
The hotel is refined with the little touches that matter.
The mini bar is splendid with enough Prairie Vodka and Prairie Gin for a wedding party. Top shelf fever tonic and club soda selections too.
The valet service handles even the most complex Sunday mornings with a smile and the house car is ready to drop you off to your favorite restaurant.
And of course the bed refreshes you for the next days adventure.

Always great atmosphere and friendly attentive server. Calamari app and aioli recommended. Wild rice soup was tasty but too thick and came only lukewarm. Very disappointed in crab cske which came highly recommended. Way too much breading and more like a "cake" texture with not much crabmeat and overpriced for the portion- would not order again . Charred salmon salad was the hit of the day by far. Generous portions of flakey tender salmon atop champagne vinaigrette greens was delightful - can't wait to reprise. Turtle tart finale scrumptious- don't forget to add some ice cream! Always a delightful but pricey experience.

Always enjoy myself at the St Paul Hotel. The grill was fine last week but the week before, our service was terrible and it resulted in our food being cold and therefore not so enjoyable. The MGMT reached out to ask for my contact info, but NEVER CONTACTED ME.

We had our wedding at the Saint Paul Hotel. We worked with our wedding coordinator there, Mary Jo. Both of us were instantly impressed by her excitement and communication of what the hotel had to offer us on our special day. It was an easy process and Mary Jo made sure we knew each next step before our date. She is the sweetest lady, we could feel how excited she was for us! From the tasting to our displays, etc. it was an easy and fabulous process for a bride and groom. We loved our beautiful bridal suite and how lovely everything was set up in our ballroom. If you are getting married and want the best experience, this is you venue! The food was amazing and our guests loved the hotel!

Ate at the St. Paul Grill bar. Fantastic food, every bit as good as the restaurant proper. It was a Saturday evening around 5:00 PM and was very busy due to the Wild game. The bar menu has the major items from the regular restaurant menu including the steak's. The ribeye I ordered was cooked to perfection and the side of hash browns for the table were equally good. The 7 layer chocolate cake special was to die for for any chocolate lover.

I tend to judge a place based on their bathrooms first. The bathrooms here were clean, and well-stocked. They did not smell and they provided ample space to set your coat or fix your makeup away from the Stalls. The attention to detail in the bathroom makes me believe that quality and cleanliness standards spill over into the kitchen. I had a wonderful dinner at the event here tonight!

Very impressive and classy Hotel in the heart of Minneapolis! Everyone of the staff we interacted with were professional and ensured we were completely comfortable with our check-in process and rooms.

I didn t stay there BUT I saw something that I can t wait to take my little to... they have a high tea. It was a bit pricey but the fun formality and the option of attending a child only version holds great appeal!! If you re looking for a special child friendly activity I would suggest checking out the kid high tea... it s certainly a special occasion event as the price runs about $50-55.

This hotel is classic. It offers modern amenities without infringing on the history of the building. Just a few blocks from the Xcel Energy event center and surrounded by a variety of bars and restaurants , this is an easy choice for anyone looking to explore downtown St. Paul.

Beautiful hotel, and beautiful rooms. I stayed on the 11th floor for a wedding, and it was very dry and hot up there. I had a sore throat when checking out from how dry it was in the top floors of the hotel. Also, I was charged over $600 for a single-stay $160/night room. I'm still working with the hotel to get the overages removed, but no success yet. Will not be staying there again with how much they fumbled the check-in/check-out process and the payment process.

Its NOT just for dinner anymore! I had thought that the Saint Paul Hotel would not be that fun and turns out that not only is there a massive menu, a dynamic and diverse crowd, but the place is really a Great time. Lunch, Dinner, or just appetizers they have room for families, parties, and for couples (even a really cool bar). The menu includes seafood, steak, salads, and they often have specials and a changing offering every day. Impressive quality of food, servers, and decor make this a MUST stop for people to experience. They have award winning martinis but be careful, they pack a punch.

I have been to the Saint Paul hotel before, and it is professional, clean and lovely! I had to stop in and go to the bathroom and the urinals are sick! You pee on ice!! Then they have rolled towels for cleaning hands. The place is classy!

Stayed here after our wedding in one of the suites. We really enjoyed the room and the view the day after. Well maintained and staffed with professional, polite people who seemed to care for their job.

Saint Paul Hotel bar was a great place to wait before grabbing dinner at the Saint Paul Grill. I cannot recommend the Hot Pepper Shrimp highly enough; it is absolutely delicious as an appetizer and I would suggest keeping what remains of the sauce for dipping the bread into. Food was incredible and the atomsphere is fantastic.

2 years ago I visited The St. Paul Hotel with my girlfriends. It was extremely relaxing and a wonderful Hotel in terms of service. I felt the rooms where comfortable and the King sized bed was the best bed I have ever slept in. I was impressed with the great food served to us from the St. Paul Grill - the dessert was fantastic! I will continue to rave to all my friends and family about our stay at The St. Paul Hotel.
