We are staying here now. The resort is very nice and relaxing, but the executive suite we are in needs some repairs. It is very musty smelling, and there are areas where the carpet is damp. There are many places where the paint is worn off, and mold in the grout in the shower. It just needs to have some tlc to make it cleaner and better. But the grounds are great.
Zero Covid policy, so if you test positive 1 whole week before your trip, sucks to be you. They will keep your full deposit of $750. Advertising is incredibly confusing and downright misleading so you don t know or understand what you are booking. Accommodations were dated, which was fine, but also GROSS. Mystery stains, ants, leaky faucets, pealed wallpaper, musty smell, the list goes on... Just upsetting for the cost. We won t be back.
We returned from Glade Springs last night. (August 24, 2021)We were so excited to go to Glade Springs. When looking at their website, it stated that there was an Equestrian Center and Bike Riding (rental) as part of the activities. That is mainly why we selected this place. When we arrived, the front desk told us that there was no horse back riding or bike rentals and has not been for years. How disappointing! When we were walking the grounds, there was a big sign directing people to the Equestrian Center!!! Why was that sign up and... why was the website not updated??? Also, we stayed Sunday and Monday nights. The outdoor pool did not open until 3:00 p.m. on a beautiful Monday Afternoon. We tried to call the front desk on Monday morning to see if any local places rented bikes. The girl who answered told us, "I do not know." On a better note, the rooms are nice and breakfast was wonderful. I was so disappointed that the activities that were clearly advertised on the website were not available. This put a sour note on our trip.

Many have written about the renovation of rooms.... I agree with them . Everything is very old .. Breakfast is simply gorgeous .
It was a wonderful experience from booking to staying there to checking out, 10/10 would highly recommend!
Always a great time! We only live 4 hours away, so it makes for a great weekend getaway. The courses are beautiful and everyone is so friendly. We just love it here!
The lobby was very nicely decorated, a lot might think it's outdated which is true but I like the outdated look for this resort. Our room was impeccably clean, though there are places where the carpet is worn, the room was very nice. Breakfast was amazing for it being complimentary, the shuttle service was polite, and the workers at the leisure center were also polite. Both pools were nice and spacious and we loved the bowling and arcade.
We stopped at Glade Springs on our drive halfway between our home in Ohio and our vacation spot in Myrtle Beach. We were so excited to find a resort at the halfway mark that had lodging and amenities to pick from. The grounds are beautiful, but the rooms felt dirty and smelled bad due to the old carpet and lack of maintenance on paint/repairs. We appreciated being able to open the windows to air out the mustiness. The bedding and bathrooms were clean, but again the room itself felt dirty. I wouldn't walk on the carpet barefoot. The restaurant also needed repairs. I felt embarrassed for the waitstaff because they apologized for the sticky tables, you could tell people complain often about that. Simple repairs and better leadership could take this resort up a notch. Not sure if we would stay again.
Friendly and Fun! Amenities were great, room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. We had a blast there for the Murder Mystery Dinner a few weeks ago. The pools were great, and loved the escape rooms. Very relaxing, we will definitely be back! 5 stars!
The resort property is great. Large open wildlife with everything you could ask for. They need cycles or golf carts for guests as getting on a shuttle to go in between is far from relaxing. The rooms themselves are VERY old and in dire need of some renovation. The rooms are so disgusting, at least you have the property to use to get away. If the rooms were nicer they could charge more...
