Great fly shop with everything you need to get on the water. Booked a half day with Nik adler, and glad I did. Being a complete newbie to fly fishing he had me on fish every spot he suggested. Takes time to teach you about the water, hatches, and everything in between. Book a trip with the Reel Life,,, you won't be disappointed

Overall, a great experience and day out on the water. Very well run, professional, and extremely easy to set up. We had a group of 4 and Kyle made it a great day...caught about 15 fish. Highly recommend!
Kyle guided a friend and myself on the Pecos yesterday. He was helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and experienced. We caught fish, tons of strikes and learned fishing some new types of waters. Highly recommend along with the fly shop!
This fly shop gets my highest recomendation. I gave this shop a call and was greeted and treated with a cheerful hello and they were very happy to help me with all my fly fishing needs. I went to the mall where they're located and again with the friendly atmosphere. I felt like one of the family when I walked in. Kyle R. helped me find some flies specific to the local small waters I enjoy with my tenkara kit. We got to talking and it was clear he enjoyed the hiking through small mountain streams like I do going after small guys. So when they told me about their guide service I jumped at the chance to book Kyle R. We went out to into the mountains and fished the whole day. Sneaking through the brush for browns and cutthroat. Kyle was so helpful and attentive while out there. He cheerfully answered all my questions (I had many) and was eager to show me everything; best fly choice, best approach and presentation. I've been guided in more than seven states across the USA, twice in Canada and Kyle ranks up there with some of the best guides I've ever had. He made my trip informative, relaxed, and best of all fun.

I had such an amazing day with my guide nick! I haven t fly fished in ten years, and it was a different style but with great instruction it was like riding a bike. He was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable and most of all patient. We caught more fish than anyone on the lake. After a year of bad luck we counted to 15 and we re getting bites left and right! You gotta send out the good vibes and have the right flies ;) We caught 30 trout! And if we weren t laughing and having fun I m sure it would be double! I haven t had a better day of fishing!!! If you want a good time, and be put on some fish I highly recommend.
I stopped by the fly shop the day before a wading trip with Ivan. The store has everything you could need for fly fishing. I picked up my license, a dozen flies, and a few shirts.
The next day 2/16/20 I met Ivan mid-way between Santa Fe and the Rio Chama. Grabbed some coffee and a breakfast burrito (awesome burrito BTW). We hit the river and from the very beginning Ivan was showing me better ways of casting and how to react to take. I managed two fish that day, one brown and one rainbow.
From the very beginning to the end, Ivan was very professional and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better overall experience. I will definitely be back to do another trip with The Reel Life.
