If I could, I would order dinner from Red Cow every day. Their burgers are excellent, but I've found their other menu items to be really wonderful too. Everything on the menu is flavorful and the portions are huge at a mostly reasonable price. Probably not the best spot if you're a vegetarian, but I suspect you would've guessed that since the focus is on beef.
Went to north loops location on a Tuesday, had a great experience! Their barcelona burger was great. our waitress (I'm bad at names, I think Melissa?) was super nice and attentive! plus they have cheap parking considering it's downtown
Service was great. We had two kids under two and the staff was wonderful.
The kids meal had raw chicken - I ate some before knowing and did get mild food poisoning (24hrs later, lasted 48hrs with all the delightful symptoms).
The meal was taken off and replaced.
I wrote the GM to let him know about my food poisoning and did not hear back, which was really the only misstep.
The young man at the counter had the best customer service I have had in quite some time. Very knowledgeable very detailed. He even helped me with paying for parking. This young man answered my questions about my daughter seafood allergy down to how they filter the grease at the end of the night. Our waitress, even better. She got my sense of humor when asking about the different sauses. Even though she couldn't see my face with my mask she really made me have a wonderful time. We had great food, my daughter didn't get sick and we will definitely be back. So glad I came.
Waited over an hour & a half for food. Not a very pleasant dinner, amongst other things. Was still over $100. Never again.
Edit: Spoke to Crystal today 26May21 to resolve the issueand she was more than understanding on the whole situation. She went above and beyond for customer service, which is hard to find these days. Adding a star to my prior 3 star review.
UPDATE: after last weekend experience I got contacted by the manager to look into the issue. I really appreciate the genuine interest to making it right and talking with the chef s team. We ordered again this weekend and as always our burgers where amazing and the fries portion was just right!
OLD REVIEW: After almost 4 years ordering regularly from red cow... we loved it.. but today s was VERY DISAPPOINTING... they decided to dramatically change the fries portion... charging the same.. this is less than half what they used to serve....... Don t know if this meal is still worth 18$+.. I called and they said that they are doing 4oz of fries.. and I got less than 3oz....
Absolutely love this place. The chips and onion dip is to die for!! Highly recommend. The cheese curds are great too. Can't go wrong with any of the burgers as all are outstanding. Our last visit my wife and I decided to split a burger and they served us our order on two separate plates with each plate having a half of the burger already cut and then each plate having a bowl of coleslaw for the side and each having a pickle. We felt like we got a real deal. Oh, and their ketchup is awesome too! If somehow you still have room for dessert I highly recommend the mini donuts. Just like being at the state fair!! Love this place!! Great atmosphere, great service, great food!! Can't wait to go back again!!
We love Red Cow. Easily the best burgers in the Twin Cities. The atmosphere is casual, yet feels classy, so it's good for either date night or to swing through before or after a Twins game. It's one of our go to places to take people from out of town when they come to visit.
Ordered the Bourbon Chicken sandwich which was awesome! I also had the onion dip and chips, chips were spot on, onion dip was not what I was expecting from the description, but good nonetheless. Get the ranch dressing which is one of the best I've had, and dip the chips in that for a contrast .
Wide variety of appetizers. Fast service. Tried both the housemade chips with French onion dip and the GF buffalo cauliflower. Good GF selections. Atmosphere was ok, outdoor seating available. Good bar food.
