First time visiting North-Carolina and Raleigh. The food was amazing , fresh and delicious. The service was superb!! Would definitely come back & recommend.

Great spot for a lunch date with my man! It's been a while since I've been to this classic eatery, and I have forgotten how good it truly is! More than just a hipster hangout, this place knows good food! My tacos were excellent and Big Daddy's nachos were just right. The rooftop is perfect on a gorgeous day, but the decor inside is quite inviting as well.

For better or worse your experience may vary...Went to Raleigh Times for a late lunch. 330pm crowd on a beautiful Saturday was low. Had a great staff member assisting us (Brad) who told us the kitchen was a bit behind but our food didn't take as long as expected. We made reservations for the rooftop. I don't think I will sit anywhere else the next times I visit. It's open, spacious and has nice decor. No complaints about the food. Buffalo chicken strips and sante fe chicken wrap were both as to be expected. Love they have house cut fries. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service and quality food! My boyfriend and I split the shrimp po boy w/fries and each got a taco. He ordered a mule and I got a small beer. Really reasonably priced too! Both feeling super happy and satisfied. Awesome server!

Very nice atmosphere, the staff was very nice. I think the food needs a little work, I asked for a well done burger but that doesn t mean extra char for well done. The food was bland and the fries were cold. They brought out hot fries with no problem. I would go back again and but not right away.

Edit: I m updating my review from a 4 to a 5 star. The fact the company wanted to make sure our experience was great the second time around and asked what could be done better shows they care about their business and customers. The Buffalo chicken sandwich and apple pie were delicious! Brian was an awesome server! We will be back!

I came here recently and had a less than pleasant experience. The service was quite poor. They had an hour wait which is totally understandable during with the weekend. After waiting an hour to be seated, we were sat by the carry out door which remained open on a chilly evening. My coat was on the whole time and I was still very cold. We asked to move elsewhere but the servers gave a deal a sorry but deal with it attitude. We ordered nachos and they came out cold which indicted they had been sitting in the back for a while. We didn t complain at the time as we had waited an hour and were starving. They weren t bad but I m sure they would have been amazing if they were brought to our table hot. Once we finished our appetizer we waited quite a while for our waitress to come back and take our entree order. She was busy working tables, making drinks at the bar, answering the phone for to-go calls, and taking orders to the carry out counter. After we received our food no one came back and we had to walk to the bar to ask for silverware. Our waitress had her hands full so I don t fault her for being slow. She made me a great drink and their runner was really nice. This situation is a reflection on management not the server.

I returned to the Raleigh times with high hopes and we were seated swiftly and were given our starters nearly 2 minutes after ordering (very impressive)! The starters were very delicious and we ordered our main courses. The wait compared to last time was shorter by around 5-10 minutes so we were glad to see quicker service, they came out and they were amazing! The fries were a complete overhaul, not small or greasy, just right and crisp. The burger was slightly larger than normal (a good thing)! These portions were just right for the price. Our plates were cleared quickly by our lovely server Brian. We ordered our desserts, and they came out fast as well. The torte was slightly larger than my previous torte with a nice touch of whipped cream on the side. The portion size of the torte was reasonable for its price. The scoops of ice cream were larger too. Our experience was much more pleasant as the portions were larger to match the price and the service was a lot more quicker. Overall, we had a pleasant time as we were met with nice portions, good food, and fast service. May consider going back again! Thank you Brian and the staff as well for the wonderful service!

I honestly went here just to try the ranch and was not disappointed!

I ordered a Sangria Sunrise and some French fries and ranch. We had already eaten dinner somewhere else but wanted a drink and a snack and this is what we went with.

The drink was mixed perfectly. The ranch and fries delicious!

After looking through the menu, I 100% plan on going back to try more off their menu!

I had a couple of friends visiting from out of town and we went here for lunch. The food was fantastic and I think my friends were pleased. We especially enjoyed the pico and guacamole appetizer as well as the fried pickles. It has been quite a few years since I had been here myself but will definitely be looking forward to coming back again - sooner this time!

Raleigh Times is one of my favorite places to go! Their food is always so awesome, the pork nachos are so filling & so flavorful! And the simple salad with some grilled chicken added is the perfect amount if you re not starving but not quite full. I just love the atmosphere here, too! Plus they have an upstairs bar with a patio! It s a Raleigh staple.
