Optimistic as we had eaten here before but not overly impressed this time around. No table water offered on arrival, no table service, which is fine but also expected to pay when you order so no tip paid to staff as could not assess if performance warranted one before we had eaten. Food was 50/50. chicken schnitzel was luke warm & hard. Garlic herb butter order with the steak had neither garlic nor herbs in it. Steak was also luke warm. Braised pork did not have the listed dumplings in it or the saffron rice, plain rice only & no explainatuon offered for missing items. No salt & pepper on the tables. Staff don t check back to see if everything is ok with the meals. Glad a tip wasn t pre paid as service was very basic. Staff friendly & nice clean venue otherwise.
Great spot for a hearty meals with friends. Good wines too.
Good staff, good food, cold beer. What more could there be?
Excellent food, good service, quiet although very busy.
Many times I have driven past this pub and thought it looked inviting, and finally tonight I went there for a meal. The general vibe was lively and great, the bar staff were great, but the main reason I went there was for the food.....it was sadly underwhelming. The Lobster and Chorizo Thermidor entree was served on bread, and it barely covered the two small slices of bread, but worse was the fact that the flavour was non-existent. It was bland, and there was no evidence of lobster in the flavour. This was followed by the Chicken, Corn and Chorizo house-made pie which came sitting on a bed of mash, with some runny gravy (presumably it was gravy) and peas poured over the top. I could best describe it as hearty, but again bland, with no real detectable flavour. Overall what started out as a great evening ended up with a deflated feeling. Since then I have found out that one other friend in our large group sent their meal back to the kitchen because it was so poor, and another basically left everything uneaten without sending it back...in other words, almost 20% of our group were very unhappy with the food.
Never had a bad experience. Great customer service, great vibes, great menu. With an open fireplace during the winter, it can't get much better!
A smallish and cosy pub, that was lively (a little noisey. But it was the first game of AFL for the season). Separate large dining area. Good steaks at a good price, with great service and friendly staff.
Curry was okay, service was quick. But out of 3 children s meals not one child could finish the chips because of the taste. Half the chips were a black type colour and all had an unpleasant taste. My partners lasagne meal was average. He also found the chips difficult to tolerate. We are not sure if something was wrong with them but being pregnant and having tried a couple because of my children s complaints it has made me nervous.
Couldn't provide fish so provided sea food at no extra cost. Well done to bad more business don't put customers first.
Always friendly staff and reasonably priced good food
Staff were nice but food and drinks were kinda average.
Very nice place for a quiet drink with friends exceptionally Friendly Bar Staff would totally recommend you pop in and find out for yourself
Really nice food, and a lovely setting in a side room which our group had to ourselves.
Good service the meals were amazing well presented and affordable.
Great quality delicious food, prepared quickly served by friendly staff. Great atmosphere & good for large or small groups whether you've booked or just walked in.
Great bistro meals, Awesome pub with great drink prices.
SLY MIG LOVES QUEENS ARMS HOTEL!!!
Awesome Xmas Lunch for Probus Group. Food & service excellent
What a fantastically friendly place.
The staff are extremely welcoming and pleased to serve the atmosphere is relaxing with a great selection of food and drinks I will definitely be back again.
Just never have a bad Friday after work drink at the Queens. Great drink specials, huge video wall, friendly staff and to top it all off the grubs pretty damn decent too.
Food was good but few options for vegans. Need to expand menu to include these options.
I was only out the front changing a tyre, not inside.
Not enough food in the meals for what I paid and needs to have a better description on menulog but the service was very good
Good customer service with standard beers on tap plus Frothy from Matilda Bay & the tasty, yet strangely named Pirate Life ~ I went for dinner & ordered Morrocan Chicken Breast $27.50 ~ the meal arrived in good time but was seriously lacking in flavour & imagination. My friend had a porterhouse steak $31 that looked far more appetizing.
Great food, great and friendly service and not too noisy. A good place to bring friends
What a great place...was visiting and felt like home..
Lovely atmosphere, friendly and obliging staff and superb meals. Enjoyed our visit
The food here is very good, especially the pizzas and chicken rissoto
The food and service are nice, but it would be amazing to see more vegetarian and vegan options. Perhaps something other than pasta or risotto.
Omg it is the best pub. The bartenders are amazing the atmosphere is electric fantastic place to go after work or out for a feed.
Dropped in for late lunch and a drink. Very friendly and accommodating
Fantastic night out with Family, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, can't wait to drop in again.
Well since no one asked how the food was despite over half of 2 plates going back to the kitchen I will mention it here. The barramundi and Parma were good, but the chicken risotto was full of reheated flavour in the chicken. Menus not removed during meal, and table cleared at the end incompletely. Decor is insipid and dull but staff are nice.
Very busy friday night. Noisy. Staff friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Kids menu order comes with coloring pack.
Good food, tradies lunch n pot specials, during week.
No better combination of excellent cuisine and value for money than the Queens Arms mid week deal. The service is first class.
Great food, cold beer, friendly atmosphere. All good.
The Queens Arms is a pub, with good food and it can get very busy.
Good food which arrived reasonably quickly after ordering and staff were very friendly
Very laid back and happy to let us sit outside with the dogs for an hour. Very happy with this place!
Food was very below average. Chicken parma was cold, cheese was hard on top. Chips had a very strange seasoning. Lamb souvlaki bread was undercooked and lamb was bland. Service was very friendly, atmosphere was great, shame the food didn't deliver.
Great varied menu & well presented delicious meals, whether at lunch time or for dinner. Consistently good!
Great meals and value for money, prompt service. Very friendly staff.
Great pub, good food, excellent service and nice ambiance!

Great pub setting. The lunch deal is excellent. You get a meal and drink for $16.90.
I had a wagyu burger and it was delicious.
Good food. Pleasant & friendly staff. Good access for parking. Lunch menu could have more variety.
