The Quarie Review

The atmosphere was phenomenal, the service was awesome & the food was exceptional. Worth adding The Quarie Bar & Bistro to your restaurant bucket list!!

Beautiful setting, open space inside and out. All kinds of beer and good food to eat. The location is perfect for me as I drive from South. Instead of going thru Kwinana traffic to Cockburn, I just come here to chill. They also have an adjacent area next to the entry which can be used for small meetings, get together and private parties.

Food on this particular day was off the usual level the quarie offers usually.

Very disappointed with how rude the bartender was when serving me and my friend and found the overall customer service poor. I had the chicken burger and my friend had the steak sandwhich, both were bland with undercooked chips :(

Time to visit the Quarie Bar is NOW! I have been going to this place for the last 5 years. It was really good when it first opened about 5 years ago. The food was delicious with very generous serving (the price was reasonable). The quality of food went downhill about 2 years ago (maybe the change of the head chef) but I went there on 22/04/17 and the tasty food is back.

We had two dishes (steak sandwich and buffalo wings for one). The steak sandwich had a good-sized juicy steak in there (high quality steak) and the buffalo wings for one had 10-12 wings (more than enough for one person). We had two pints of beer (Quarie Ale - Highly recommended). All these for $55!

I will visit again before the head chef moves on. Good job!

Been past this place a few times and decided to have lunch there on Saturday. First impressions when we first walked in was nice decor, very clean. Only thing that wasn't great music a bit loud but we decided to stay. I had ribs which were really nice, good sauce. Chips were fantastic. My wife had the special which was salmon with greens with potato algratin. She really enjoyed it. My sister had salt and pepper squid she said was a little chewy. Mum had green Thai curry with rice she really enjoyed it as well. Service was good. Great choice of wine and beers on tap.

Amazing food and amazing prices just brilliant lunches out of this world.

Average is all reagards, food was ok? Coffee was luke warm.

Great service, our drinks and mains were fabulous. Not a place to go if you are having a catch up where you want to hear people, it is a little loud.

Classic pub food is good, but if you go for anything slightly more exotic ....don't bother

Pretty average suburban pub located on a busy intersection. If you don't like drinking at home it's an option.

An awesome atmosphere for any meal of the day. Best value meals include their $15 wings which are good size and excellent buffalo sauce with the added blue cheese sauce on the side. Great selection of both food and drink. Great customer service by all staff. Great place

Still here as I write this. Came here for a Pinkd & Lady Gaga tribute show. Management would have known by ticket sales the place would be packed yet didn't appear to have the brains to put extra staff on for the night. I came with two friends early planning to have dinner prior to show. We got there two hours early and only got served food as the show began. Average wait for a drink at the bar was 25 minutes....i was surrounded by grumbling audience as they argued over who was next to be served by the minimal staff trying to serve the crowd. My friend got overcharged for their drinks when they finally got them...but was unable to query as staff frantically moved on to serve more people. When our food was eventually served my friends dinners were cold. The star is for my food which was very nice.... Unsure whether it was worth a 1hr45min hour wait though. Hoping show will make drive here worth it...because the service is definitely not enticing us to return.

Love the meal scotch fillets steak cooked fantastically really enjoyed the meal the wait staff we're very quick and knowledgeable would definitely recommend and will definitely will return

Ordered the arancini balls and the southern fried chicken burger to share.

Arancini balls had fantastic flavour and we enjoyed them BUT the southern fried burger didn't mention on the menu that there was any spiciness to it and was absolutely disappointed to find that we were unable to eat it because it was too spicy. If it had of mention that, then we wouldn't have ordered it.

Busy bar, gr8 live singer n face painter is fab but food didnt look gr8. Will try eating here next time we go but not today!
No kids area which is a pity

Really enjoyed our dinner here. Our waiter was friendly, good variety of dishes and food had good flavour.

Interior decor was also quite nice.

Good beer. All-in-one setup- no real space between the restaurant and bar.

Used to love coming here for their Sunday buffet - however quality of the food and value for money have seriously deteriorated.

Recently we dined in and my partner tried a pasta which was bland at best. I myself had the salt and pepper squid - but when asked if I could takeaway the remainder of the meal, I was handed napkins and no container (to my surprise).

The food is great the services very good and very clean we.love it

Always have a positive experience at The Quarie. It's been a while since I've been back here, but having been to a different pub recently which was TERRIBLE it's really put into perspective how outstanding this place really is. Great atmosphere and great food!! Will be back soon!

Totally overpriced food. $16 for stuffed mushrooms , which was 5 button mushrooms. Absolutely appalling, so will not be back.

A large list of beers to procure with reasonable pricing to go with it. Pub-style menu with specials during the week. Favourite feature is when their own made beer is on special when Western Australian AFL teams play on their live broadcasted TVs in the bar area.

Came here for dinner spent $100 between 2 people. Customer service from the manager seating us down as disappointing as he just pointed at our table and walked off. Waited 20mins for someone to take our order, when it was wasn t even busy. Entree was delicious, however main meals were average, couldn t finish our meals. Waited 25mins to get a waitress attention to ask if we could take the remainder of our meals home. Was told no, we re not allowed . This is absolutely appalling as we used to be able to to do this and the pricing of the meals were more than average. Overall this is a very disappointing experience.

Been here before and okay but tonight nada. Took forever and a day to order meals, young guy behind bar keep doing other tasks, poor girl left behind struggling to keep up with cocktails and other drink orders. Waited over 15 minutes to order.
Meals arrived and bleh.... Steak sandwich, barely toasted, chips limp and smell of fish. Nachos, just a mess in a bowl and okay but just okay. Disappointed as meals and service in past has been good. Won't bother in coming again.

Ordered chips (for 10 freaking bucks) when getting a round of drinks. You'd think that wouldn't be a tricky order, however it was. They forgot the order and then stuffed it up again. Understaffed too so expect to wait to get a drink even when it isn't that busy

pleasantly surprised. very nice bar and restaurant. they serve Guinness on tap which is rare now AND THEY HAVE BUFFALO CHICKEN WINGS

Food has been excellent in the past but was quite bland on last visit and an entree order was messed up. Out of 8 people only one was happy with the meal. Weird because the time I went before this one it was truly excellent. Different chef maybe?

Friendly prompt lunch service, the herb crusted Lamb Rump was just delicious, cooked to perfection. Menu was not massive but quite adequate.Tele was turned down low so we could hear ourselves speak and the beer was cold. What else do you need to know?

They special of the day are awesome for the price. E.g $15 steak on Tuesday night , $10 burger on Thursday

Food and staff were great, our table was next to the counter so our chairs kept getting kicked by staff walking past.

Normally this place has lovely meals with really great service, however today that didn't happen. Dropped in for a late Friday lunch. Was taken to a table (with table service) but there was only 2 staff working and both were in the bar. After waiting for ages, still no one came over & we ran out of time and left without even given a bottle of water. Don't think they even noticed. V disappointing :(

Went through to watch the glory league final, food is good, beer is good. Not really the place to watch televised sports. Not enough TVs

They accept your apology for previous behaviour which have never hurt anyone but then when you go there and ask for a cup of tea they kick you out . Also fish over cooked. Also the vale is cheaper in their meals not so crowded and staff more understanding when told the truthalso i would like to know what the liquor and gaming people would have to say about them serving people that they know are drunk even before they enter the hotel but they still serve them
