Breakfast is so so. Near to a shopping mall (Nelson Mandela Square). The hotel provides a free shuttle from the hotel to the shopping mall, however the location of the hotel is not safe. The neighborhood isn t that safe. Far from the airport.

The room is small, but the bed is big, king bed, very comfortable.
The service is also very good, parking is not very convenient, so there is a special help to park.
The only bad thing, the air conditioning in my room is a bit loud.

Very nice hotel. Only there to attend a two days conference. Did not stay in the hotel. Buffet food was very good. As for the Lord bar, very poor service, three people behind serving but oh so very slow and picky as to whom was next to be served not on 1st come 1st served basis. After a 20 minutes wait and no service we left went to the Bull Run restaurant where we enjoyed a great service and ending up having dinner as well.

If it had parking I would best... I don't like the idea of someone driving away with my car not knowing where is he going to park. And if you read the car hand over card it state clear that the hotel IS NOT RESPONSEBLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES OF YOUR CAR OR ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR.

the entrance needs revamp the reception area is amazing... But the rooms not amazing.

this was my second stay at this hotel. I've done the bed and breakfast the package twice now. This includes breakfast which is nice as they do have a very large selection on the buffet and eggs to order. The hotel Gardens and pools are incredible! The food at Bull Run is top notch. The only bad thing and reason for - 1 *, is the gym. Half the equipment that does not work, the television has no remote, I question whether they're wiping down the equipment once or twice a day a week or month, and it's stuffed down into the basement. A top-notch hotel like this should be providing a fitness facility that looks out into the Garden or at least has some light. They should also be doing basic maintenance and cleaning. If you are Savvy with dumbbells you will be fine... Just don't try to use any equipment.

Hotel is very old, kind of scary for me. Most of staff are nice, though some are not. Keep talking to colleague and ignoring me standing right in front of her. And she said she will solve my problem and call me or ask a guy come to my room to check. Never receive a call and nothing. Problem remains. Worst experience ever.

Very noisy room, hearing people walking, trolley passing. I couldn't sleep well.

Wonderful vibe and friendly staff. Offers complimentary shuttle to guests around Sandton. The fitness centre well kitted out w basic cardiovascular and weights, plus changerooms.

Rooms are very comfortable with a fridge and desk for business travellers.

The rooms and furnishings are a bit dated but the grounds are beautiful, the food yummy, and the service was quite good. The attached restaurant (The Bull Run) also has great food & service.
1 other downfall, iron & ironing boards have to be requested from house keeping, but they are very quick to deliver it when you call.

Had a meeting at the hotel. Staff was OK not over friendly. I find the waiter took for ever to bring 2 coffees. Located near the gautrain and shopping areas, excellent location just need better service levels. Reception was on top of their game and very helpful

This hotel is in the most expensive area of Johannesburg. If you are tourist there is very limited public transportation available in this area. The WiFi works sporadically, so it is hard to do any work. There is construction going on in the hotel and the neighborhood so it can be very noisy.
