Friendly and really helpful staff. They have everything that you need for a nice canoe ride.

Great service, very fast getting your canoes and fair prices. Renting from here is super simple as you can start your trip right from their dock.
They are very fair with rental pricing and if you get back early they refund whatever half/whole days you did not use. their canoe selection is great and their ultralight Kevlar canoes are a pleasure to portage.

We rented a canoe for 2 days while at Canisbay Park in Algonquin last weekend. The canoe are in great shape and the staff that come to the park are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable for a 24 hr period. I'd rent again.

The ice cream is a must have... after a full day of canoeing and fun, the ice cream is the wonderful way to end the day. The staff was very sweet and helpful and made it a wonderful experience!

Went mid July to Algonquin for the first time and the staff here were amazing. They helped us feel confident in going and were kind enough to help us figure out the right gear... We brought a barrel but we were going to rent one instead because we didn't know if ours was good enough. The staff told us the rental wasn't needed and to use ours. We really appreciate the honest business, so we made sure to spend more than would have on the rental at the store! At the end of the trip (we left one day early), we went to return the canoe and we ended up being refunded the extra day we had prepaid... I never expected to get that money back so that was a nice surprise.. and of course back to the store we went! The store has a ton of variety for food and camp gear (if you forgot something...anything, they've got you covered). Shout to Connor who helped us with returning the canoe! He was very polite and welcoming. Can't wait to come back.

They have great, Ultra light canoes with comfortable carrying yoke. Staff are friendly and helpful. If you are starting your trip at Canoe Lake they have everything you need. And a great restaurant too. Love the bacon cheese burger and chocolate shake after 7 days in the park. Thanks for everything Jessy.

My husband and I were invited on a camping trip, but because we are newbies we had no equipment. The Portage Store rental equipment was INCREDIBLE and made it such a successful trip! Not only was the equipment everything we needed, it was top notch quality! the staff was beyond amazing and SO INFORMATIVE on anything we needed to know. we even had to push our trip due to weather and there were no issues. for anyone who wants to try camping, I recommend renting from this company!

Very good food! The restaurant was right along the water and you sit up high so you have an awesome view to go with your meal. The staff were friendly and it has a nice homey feel. Mind you it was a little chilly that day so don t sit by the door or else you ll feel the cool air every time someone walks in lol. Overall, great experience. I can t wait to go back again.

Decent selection of last minute items. Staff was always energetic and very helpful. They are very well organized, everything went smoothly and we were in and out within 20min! It's definitely worth paying the extra for the Kevlar, if you're portaging!

We booked a full day guided canou tour (6h). Our guide Aidan made the tour the highlight of our Canada roadtrip so far. The places she showed us were amazing. Also the information about the park itself, its stories and mysteries were great! Thanks a lot for a perfect day! :)
