We really enjiy this theater. Loved the antique and colorful decor. Hope is keep for a long time.
I went there to dance. They advertised multiple dance floors. I called the theater 3 times and nobody knew anything about the dance floors and didn't care to find out. I got there and the orchestra pit was covered with, it looked like plywood, and that was the only dance floor. To me, that was false advertising.
I love this theatre and the design within! I went there to see The Exorcist and The Bride of Frankenstein, and both times they had good food, excellent ambience and even a live organ player. This theatre gives a better theatrical experience than even modern theatres purely for its nostalgia and quality of service from very caring volunteers.
Ah historic.old theater that has a stage. It's an amazing building to see, the bathrooms are well there's a waiting room that's bigger than the restroom, the stalls are huge, they've redone them in the original style with care to match the grandeur and authenticity of a bygone age.
They have a web page that lists the events.
It feels like you are stepping back in time and loving every minute of it.
Beautiful theater. We need these theaters to stay open and alive. Being able to watch something on a big screen, going to the theater, is such an experience. Few theaters like this one, are still around. Such a beautiful, gorgeous theater.
Nice historic venue. Attended for the first professional boxing event ever held there with T&K promotions. The event was outstanding. The only issue was not enough choices at the concession stand and liquor.
Located right along Route 37 in Lakeland, easily seen from the road. Very nice old theater, beautifully decorated. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Temperature was fine, not too warm or too cold. Small concession stand selling popcorn, hot dogs and soft pretzels, as well as, water, coke, diet coke, sprite, beer and wine. Seating was comfortable, aisles were roomy. Other patrons were friendly. Restroom is on second floor up some stairs. My only (small) complaints were: I wish there was clarity as to where to park and I wish there were more soda options. Regardless, we had a great time seeing a Led Zeppelin tribute band (I hope I'm using the correct term). They were really good. Our time at the theater was a wonderful experience.
Pleasant evening for the movie nights. Seats are not really -large body friendly-.
FANTASTIC venue to watch a GREAT concert!!! The old architecture adds an UNBELIEVABLE ambiance to your evening!!! THANK YOU for hosting the J3 vocal band concert!!!
