The Perennial Farm Review

A Saturday at the Perennial Farm is my kinda Saturday. Clearly I made some poor life choices because I would be happier working here!

We stopped by during the week to learn they are only open for retail on Saturdays, so instead we picked up their retail catalog and price list and took it home. They have an absolutely enormous selection of perennials you can browse in the catalog ahead of time. It worked out great because we were able to plan our purchases based on our needs. When we arrived, we told them what we were looking for, they gave us a map, and they told us exactly which greenhouses we needed to go to out of their 35+ greenhouses site. Definitely coming back for more!!

Amazing plants, amazing staff!! They are the BEST for their knowledge and products!

Just received my first small order from this place. I'm really impressed with the quality and condition of the plants received and the extreme care in packing so they'd survive shipping. Will definitely order from them again.

Stopped in after seeing the great website to check this place out. I followed the directions to check in at the office. Very rude blonde woman abruptly told me to wait outside. I did for several minutes and no one ever came out so I left. I was looking forward to seeing what that have-she could of at least handed me a spec sheet and told me that retail is only open on Sat (as I learned from reading other reviews). Fed EX trucks were rolling out -the customer service I experience I encountered seems like they are not at all interested in retail. Really unfortunate.

This place is great to delivere to.. They let me park the night before.. They will come knock on your door in the morning.. After they unloaded me.. They wash my trailer out.. And that was a big help.. Thank you very much.. Keep up the great work..

They had a plant that I could not find any place else

For those in the garden design industry Perennial Farm is one of the best places for ornamental perennials and grasses in the Baltimore County area. Their offerings are comprehensive and they're quite quick to pick up on and offer hot new specialized cultivars including natives and nativars and also feature large bulk-order restoration plugs for large scale garden plantings or wildlife restoration. Carries some shrubs too. Additionally open to the public for retail I believe every Saturday too so everyone can enjoy their selection. Friendly staff at the office. My second main source for all my jobs.

I worked there for about a year. Though I had to part ways with Perennial Farm, I can attest to the high caliber of the employees there. The company and its employees genuinely care about the quality of service they provide. They are incredibly hard working and good folk. Perennial Farm itself is amazing, with a myriad of different plants. During the spring and summer the flowers are amazing.

Ordered plants on may 11th, crocosmia lucifer, followed all instructions. Planted and shortly after the green fronds dried up and fell off. No signs of growth since. I emailed, called , and messaged with zero response. I want to know if they are just not going to grow this season but start next season..or are they dead. The reviews on this place were great so that's why I bought thru them...getting no response and hearing their phone message that they are not responding by phone (only email) makes me think it's not a reputable business.
