This mini "Garden of Eden in the concrete jungle" is a great option if you are looking for a place to stay in Johannesburg. It is located in a very beautiful part of the city, in a more residential area with lots of trees. It's within close proximity to Melrose Arch and not too far from Sandton City. In the center of the hotel is a beautiful garden with green lawns and big trees. There is also a lounge area and a pool where you can relax after a busy day. We stayed in a Garden Room which was nice and spacious, with a lot of sunlight to lighten up the room. They also have Garden Suites which are a bit bigger, as well as House Rooms which are situated in the main building. The breakfast at their restaurant was delicious. I had a peak into their wine cellar and they have quite a comprehensive selection of good wines as well as local craft beers, and twice a year they host a mini wine festival which is perfect for wine lovers. The entire team at The Peech was super friendly and helpful, and can give you some good tips of what to do in the area. You are guaranteed to leave this "Eden" a lot more relaxed than you came in.

The rooms on the first floor are quite large and have a large bathroom. The room was quiet at night, looking out from the room, there was a beautiful garden below. There are beautiful pictures on the walls of the room. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel's restaurant is also great, with a complimentary continental breakfast, you can also spend some eggs or something, the price is reasonable and not expensive.

This boutique hotel provides an impeccable place to stay in JoBurg. The staff are friendly and they worked hard to make sure our every need was met. The pristinely kept garden provides a small oasis with birds chirping and whistling. The food was amazing, and it is clear that the entire team take pride in the product that they offer. The rooms are spacious and delightfully decorated, with attention to the finest details - the nougat at night is delicious! Highly recommend this hotel, we will be back! Thanks for a fabulous visit!

The perfect business hotel in Joburg: The Peech claims to be the most inspiring place to stay in Joburg . They re right.

Step off the very central street where they re located, and you ll find a tucked-away slice of nature in the midst of the busy city. Big shady trees, beautifully manicured gardens, sparkling swimming pools and a beautifully designed set of rooms make you feel like you can exhale as soon as you step inside.

Inside, it s even better. They recently expanded their hotel - doubled in size! - and are almost at capacity, which says a lot about their wow factor. The rooms are comfortable and spacious with beautiful bathrooms and all the comforts you could wish for. They ve managed to strike just the right balance between seclusion and service: I felt like I could do whatever I wanted without being disturbed, but if I needed anything it would be happily provided. A real home away from home - just with better decor!

What a gem! Everyone is correct regarding the beds! An extra plus that they can be heated. It was quite cool during our stay! Dinner was fantastic and we only had starters! The staff is very friendly!

A hidden gem. Really stunning gardens, growing right around some of the rooms. A tranquil oasis conveniently located close to the main bisiness district of Johannesburg. Rooms very well laid out and with superb furnishings. Real welcoming hospitality and delicious food. Rated as a 4 star but really much more like a 5 star.

Our first time at The Peech Hotel was to enjoy a pop-up restaurant vibe at Basalt, their restaurant, collaborating with La Petite Maison. 5 courses with wine pairings. It was absolute perfection, from start to finish. The squid ink risotto is right up there in the top 5 things I've ever eaten in my life, and I'm 50 and I've lived in 5 countries. The service was equally wonderful, especially from Clive, the sommelier. Lovely, simple decor. Understated, casual elegance in every detail. A real treat.

An all time favorite. The Peech finds the perfect balance between a luxury hotel and staying at your own home. Rooms are spacious and set amidst a lush garden, with friendly staff there to make you feel at home and pampered. Access to a large Planet Fitness gym next door is a big step beyond the typically depressing fitness centers offered by most hotels.
