Okay people, if you are African American (BLACK) and male, you might as well turn around and head home. This club is one of the most racist clubs in Sacramento. I was even told by one guard their job was to only allow a few " BLACKS" INSIDE.. really people we are in USA and people still show angry towards BLACK PEOPLE, like what did we do? Everyone should be allowed to go out and have a great time. Don't waste your money or time .

The club itself is fine, looks nice with a big dancefloor. Crowd is fairly diverse and different areas to hang. Music is alright. The issue with this place is with getting in (worse than the other cobs around, imo). On the guest list and waiting in line for about two hours. Bouncers charged 15/20 to go wait by the door and not on the sidewalk. Friends and I had enough and walked out bc we were practically next in live for about a half hour while they let in other ppl (a decent looking girl or two), we would've gotten in soon but it was more about giving a middle finger to that bs,...felt good. Also the dress code is suppose to be strict but later on you'll see baggy clothes. One guy had a flannel jeans and sneakers. I like the place, but after the last fiasco in line, I won't be returning
Everything it was super eventful and exciting lol to bad i got to drunk to really have at as much of fun as I could of...thats why i booked a ticket for new years.
So Friday (11/6) night I ask for an amf but stronger then what the bartender made it before (Asian tatted guy) he gave me a drink and charged me 11 i have him 16 (5$) more out of at 20$) told home to keep it all cause the amf wasn't strong like I asked I offered him another 20$ if he made it syronger!!! He didn't accept it. Maybe if I had a vagina he eapuldve made it stronger lol but he didn't accept any offer I have him. Jesus I just wanted a strong amf other clubs and bars do this easily.
Nice trendy Club it was fun to hang around the table service was good and the music was pretty good too do you want to go have some fun why not stop here.
This place is a joke. Was on a guest list for a friend's birthday and waited for 2 hours and still wasn't able to get in. A group of people just cuts everyone in line and gets in before everyone. So you're welcome to go if you want your night to be ruined.
1) Too many people were allowed in causing issue at the dance floor and this is the first place you have to get through once you enter.
2) 75% of the club was testosterone crazed men walking around
3) Chain cigarette smoking 2 feet from the door at the entrance and the same in the patio area next to the bar.
4) Drinks were overpriced as always. Paid 60.00 for 5 drinks and one of them was a Corona.
5) The front door security and staff were great but at one point there were 3 lines going and became confusing. People were attempting to pull people from other lines and nothing was said.
6) We won tickets and advised to tell the staff at the front door. We got there and the line was on the street. Told the check-in person and they added us into another line with some other people party that said they didn't know any of us. Security didn't listen thankfully.
The great things were is everyone looked happy and ready to party. Didn't run in to any issues with others throughout the night. Would go back but not on NYE.
My wife and I decided to try this spot out for a night out on 06/08/2019 per recommendation of a friend who's local to the Sacramento area. Upon arrival, my wife and I presented our MILITARY IDs, which were DENIED at the door because our IDs are retired personnel IDs.
We spoke with the 3 bouncers at what appeared to be the VIP entrance and they each proceeded to tell my wife and I that Park Ultra Lounge only accepted active duty IDs so we couldn't enter the club. It was only until after a 4th bouncer/security person came to the door and said that despite the active duty ID policy, they'd let us in, but only after telling us to be respectful to the bouncers at the door.
Mind you, we were at no point disrespectful, but instead tried to enlighten the bouncers of why our IDs should be accepted by saying, "These are government issued IDs and are acceptable for entrance onto military bases." Oh, and also, the main bouncer who told us we couldn't get in first asked if our IDs were 'penny IDs' - I have no idea what those are.
Anyways, as I write this review, I'm thinking that Park's Ultra Lounge active duty ID policy might be related to discounts that might be available during the day for food, but regardless, to be denied at the door initially was extremely frustrating. It's clear that their workers aren't trained to read all forms of acceptable IDs. Our experience here was completely unacceptable. Never have I had my service ID questioned in the most disrespectful manner.
*DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE* Bouncers are horrible and on a power trip, they will disrespect you or find things wrong with you, me and three friends came here all the way from Merced and as soon as we walk up a bouncer is already mean mugging us, then proceeds to tell me my pants are too baggy when im in a nice blazer and dress pants? He then says go ask the manager standing about 20 feet away, but he was busy talking to another bouncer and was uninterested in talking to me? So we ended up leaving as that one bouncer mean mugs us as we are walking away? SIMPLY PUT- the bouncers at the door are rude and on a power trip and seem to like to try to start trouble, maybe even racist because we saw them letting other dudes in that was dressed a lot less fancy then we was, come on we was all wearing blazers and dress pants. NEVER AGAIN I recommend hitting up and spending your money at other clubs in the area that are close by we had no problem getting in and no problem with bouncers at the other ones.
Invited on the guest list from a friend who had bottle service. Quick line to get in, the bar moved quickly & it was reasonably packed for a Friday night. Good chill spot, dress code is fantastic.
the security and host staff are rude. the wait and bartenders staff are okay. the guest list doesn't do anything. you can get there before 11 and they still charge you regular admission. what a joke
Busy place! Better dress to impress or they will not allow you in... security could use some customer service training. Just because they deal with drinks, they are still customers and deserve to be treated with respect...
The entry is $15, coat check is $4. The entry fee is worth it if you stay for a few hours. I enjoyed the dance music, and the upper class feel of the decorations and furniture. This is definitely a club, wear something fancy! The line took us about 20 minutes to get through and get in the club. The staff is friendly and we never had to wait too long for a drink.
This is my honest and humble review and I dont have anything against anyone, i also dont work for any company or any entity what so ever. **** I have been going to Park for the past 3- 4 years now and things were a lot different back then. If i were to count how much money i have spent there, it would be close to $9000 - $10,000 combined. I have been going there almost every other Friday/Saturday and just like in the past up till yesterday i've spent about $100-$120 on drinks and tips per night. For the past few weeks me and my friends have been waiting in the guest list line much longer than usual, and if you have been to the park recently then you would agree with me. Here's what I realized yesterday. We were waiting for about 2 hours in the guest list and me and my friends were the first few people in the guest list line followed by other 20 people.we were the first hour,. All I could see is a crowd of people coming in and they were getting the OK to go in the club. So i walk up to this GUY and ask him that we have been waiting in the guest list for an hour, he says were gonna get to you soon. I'm like OK. After another 30 mins we were still waiting and he started to let smaller groups of people in. I walked up again to him, he said sorry I cant do anything go back to the line, I'm like ok. Eventually, I noticed that the SMALLER GROUPS of people were paying him to get in. After 2 hours, im still the first person in the guest list line (I got there at 10pm and now its 11:45pm) I go to this guy and tell him that its just me and my friend here today and were have been waiting for 2 hours and we are first in line. ** ** HE SAYS, ITS GOING TO BE $20 EACH TO GET IN *** Now this $20 IS THE MONEY HE POCKETS **** AND LATER ALL THE OTHER BOUNCER AND SECURITY GUYS SPLIT. ** ** I just stood there and looked at him, MONEY was not a issue here at all, I had $20 to give him and get in. But you are letting RANDOM people and groups of people in by making your OWN POCKET MONEY...WHILE PEOPLE WHO SIGNED UP ON THE GUEST LIST ARE WAITING FOR 2 HOURS ?????? .... At least be FAIR and just walk up to the GUEST LIST line and ask " DOES ANYONE HAVE $20, I"LL LET"EM IN RIGHT NOW" ... SO... here is what i'm trying to get at ...when ever you go to The Park ... just go with a group of friends and instead of going to the guest list line just go directly to the security guy (usually the ball head dude) or there's this other one and tell him " I HAVE 4-5 PEOPLE IN MY GROUP AND WE WILL GIVE YOU $20 EACH " .. he will let you in for sure. IF its past 9:30 or 10pm on Saturday dont even bother with the guest list line, YOU WONT GET IN and i guarantee you that. Its been a sad experience for me because I see so many people being treated UNFAIRLY, just so security guys can make some POCKET MONEY... I have decided NOT TO BACK there again, I know JUST ME not going will not make much of a difference but I hope YOU reading this right now will have a decision to make. Other than all the security and bouncer bulls***t, the place is kool, once you get in. But after seeing all the unfair treatment and asking for money and all that, and waiting in line for hours. Yesterday we got in the club at 12:15 after paying the Security guy to get in and also paying the cover which is $10, even though I was the first person in the guest list line. All that was enough for me, IM NOT GOING BACK .. I'll start hitting up Social or District 30 maybe.
There is a cover charge to get into this place, 15 per person. I wouldn't say it was worth it, at all.
The dance floor gets so crowded that you can't dance. You just stand there trying to move, arms to your side, while people just crash into you over and over.
While everyone is compacted into that area trying to move, the rest of the place is wide open. The bar area is really nice and the outdoor seat is nice, but it's seems like they are an afterthought.
The waitress are dressed in a modified thong and knee high boots, to be objectified all night. While the male staff is cover from neck to to with no skin showing. At least let the poor girls have some dignity and cover their butt cheeks.
It is a good venue to play Deep House music. I wanted to DJ at this lounge, but never got a response from the manager.
Otherwise, the place is open, lavish, and comfortable, but gets messy. I seen a lot of trash the few times I visited. Definitely need to keep the place clean if you want decent guests over. The food is good as well.
This is my first yelp that I've done. This place doesn't even deserve one star. Do not go here unless you want to be stopped for an hour because you look "too young" even though you allow the cops to go through your whole phone, social media, you have a debit card in your name, and you even let them call your mom as proof lol. Only to still be turned down. This place is a joke. I have never felt so disrespected by anyone and the cops were actually harassing me at one point. This are supposed to serve and protect us. Not laugh at us because they think we are using a fake ID and still say no after we have actual proof. It wasn't until I had to have someone who we know (who worked there) come out and vouch for me actually being 21 until they let me in. The cop was sitting in his car going through my phone for like 30 mins. This is the most unprofessional business I've ever encountered in my life
I was in a VIP booth here and we got kicked out of our own VIP booth for no clear reason?? I understand alcohol is involved and misunderstandings happen but you can't just charge someone hundreds of dollars for a VIP booth then kick them out that's just unprofessional and a Rip Off. Probably not gonna come back here again.
