We've been going to this hotel for years and its always been great. Last night they put us in a room next to the Hollywood suite and the people partied until 2 am with music blasting and people right in front of our door talking and laughing. We didnt sleep at all. The hotel has no pool or restaurant anymore. It was a terrible experience.
We had our wedding there outside at the gazebo. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Price was unbeatable including a free room for us.
Palm Garden is a nice hotel. Recently remodeled rooms. Relatively quiet. Friendly staff. It's the other lodgers that I have issues with. I can't understand why smokers think it appropriate to throw butts everywhere and people with dogs won't pick after them. Bags and receptacles were provided so there is no excuse. Even when the dog does it's duty right in front of the bags and bins. People should be ashamed of themselves.
This review is for a stay during covid. Feels like this property used to be a motel, but upfitted with more resort vibes. They have multiple rooms for events and it looks like they do weddings here too. Originally we had a room booked on the outside facing the parking lot, but it was a bit loud at night due to proximity to the freeway even with the windows closed. Staff was super nice about it though and put us on a room facing the courtyard for no extra charge. The courtyard is kinda cute with a gazebo and lawn chairs, and there's a pool nearby. Property seems to be well maintained and pretty clean. The rooms appear to be recently renovated as well. A hot breakfast is included and you can pick it up at the terrace building to have on the patio or in your room. Location is good easy access to freeway and about 30 min to the beach, lots of restaurants within 5 min driving distance. Overall a very pleasant stay !!
Great find. I booked last minute on hotels.com. the hotel is easy to find, right off the freeway and super convenient with a gas station right there and Starbucks across the street.
The lobby is welcoming with a nice fountain. The buildings are all situated around the courtyards and pool.
Rooms are clean, beds are comfy. Couldn't ask for more. Definitely worth it.
Our stay in this hotel was nothing short of spectacular. It ticks all the boxes that you could ask for a great accommodation. Associates were friendly and courteous. The room was clean, comfortable and newly renovated. Further, the hotel ground was well maintained. On top of that, they did offer a complimentary hot breakfast during our stay! I mean a proper breakfast! I will definitely come back at this hotel whenever I visit the area. I highly recommend it!
Garden is beautifully landscaped and seating layout is spacious and ample. Jasmine smells so good! Modern rooms are updated. Delicious breakfast. Complimentary water at the front desk. Great service.
This place is incredibly beautiful, clean and hospitable. The pool was closed for reconstruction, but it looks like it will be an awesome space. The rooms are freshly rehabbed and modern with comfortable beds and fluffy towels. The staff is wonderful, especially the guys who make the complimentary (legit) breakfast for all guests. The center courtyard and garden is stunning and I can understand how someone had their wedding here. Trellises with floral vines decorate the exterior room entrances. We felt safe leaving our motorcycle trailer unlocked over night. $50 pet fee, which is honestly cheaper than most places and it's one fee for 7 days... 10/10 will be back.
Nice hotel for the price. I stay here twice a year and it would be great if they could finish the restaurant remodel. The breakfast meal could be a bit better. The hotel leases part of the parking lot to tree trimming trucks so be prepared to navigate around them. It makes the place unattractive.
Awesome staff.. nice bedding and towels.. love the shower gel, soap, shampoo and conditioner provided... lovely, clean, modern bathroom and shower.. very clean throughout and good parking! Can't beat it for the price! The best hotel in the area!
