Fantastic serve and incredibly relaxing environment for the current times we are going through. Plenty of social distancing in the restaurant between tables of 2, 3 or four dining. Staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Families with children catered for in the back part of the restaurant. Food was very well presented and tasty.
Had the Pleasure to visit on Wednesday. Menu very small little choice .4of us had Hake in Batter served with Chips .Cant say anything negative about food Quiet Tasty.My problem was with the service Absolutely Dreadful Waitress had no idea how to serve Customers. As soon as 1 of us were Finished plate was swiped away in front of us as the other people were still eating .When we went to pay the Barman kept making remarks about tips just Disgusting behaviour and so rude he had something sarcastic to say to each of us and I can assure you it was not Banter I have never met such Ignorant and Rude People.In the times we are in I would have thought they would know how to serve people with Respect .I for one will never walk into this premises again .
Everything I tried was great! We didn't have a reservation but fortunately they had a space for us. A bit sad that the dish i wanted had run out and even more cause everything was delicious.
Had a takeout fish pie from here - excellent, and generous portions
Ordered a burger with chips. Burger came on a cutting tray... no plate whatsoever. Burger was medium rare, salty, and the lower bun was so soaked in relish that it was a mush. Chips were so thick that they were barely done, so slightly raw. Portions were small for the asking price. Not worth it.
Fantasticly homely spot with an amazing menu and top quality food. Dennis is an absolute character and made the night so memorable, only overshadowed by the amazing Lobster. A fantastic night!
Lovely gastro pub, with exceptionally friendly staff. Traditional Irish setting with fantastic fresh seafood dishes and an excellent French Sauvignon Blanc to go with it all. Well worth a visit
