The Painting Company of Atlanta Review

I have used this company twice now and I completely recommend them for all of your painting needs. They were prompt, the crews are great and my house looks great!

Interior walls and ceiling and exterior roof eves.The painter did a great job and completed the job within the agreed time. The price was fair and the quality of paint was excellent.

Decent job painting - there were a few areas I wasn't happy with -particularly that they just sprayed over medal attic vents that had flakey original paint - instead of sanding it down first. A little sloppy on trim, but not too terrible. The Project Manager called 3x saying he would come walk thru, but he never showed up. One thing they are really good at is collections. 30 minutes after the painters left, I got voicemail and emails asking for final payment. I had to have them back to finish some areas they missed, and every day thru that process, I was asked to make final payment. If they painted as well as they collect, it would really be impressive. All in all, I am reasonably ok with these guys, but not overwhelmed to the point where I could recommend them to a friend.

I was a pleasure to work with Genna and Connor. Initially, there was a big problem, but these two immediately took actions. Connor came over to my house a couple of times to make sure everything is done correctly. What I like most about these two was not that they were perfect, but they were receptive to feedback from customer, and were quick to implement changes. Very happy with the result!

We worked with Atlanta Painting Company to paint our dark and dated kitchen cabinets. We worked with their design consultant - to help us select the perfect color, and the before and after results are incredible! The painting crew was polite, on time, and efficient. They took a lot of care to make sure their work area was clean (which was important to us). We will definitely use their services again and have already recommended them to family/friends.

I recently had my brick home painted by The Atlanta Painting Co. I had to go back and touch up paint all over the brick, gutters, and around a few windows. I watched as they painted because they said they were painting two full coats. From what I could tell, they painted one full coat and went back over just the places that needed a second coat. They seemed to be in a hugs rush. The worst issue of all was the fact they primed with Loxon primer which is supposed to cure for 24hrs. But, as soon as the primer was dry to touch (30 min or so), they started with the actual paint color. They are reasonably priced. But, I guess you get what you pay for.

Did a great job doing a full paint on brick project. Good communication and completed on time even with a bit more wood work than we originally thought. Price was competitive (not the cheapest but a good value for the quality). Would recommend them.

They painted my family room, foyer, powder room and kitchen almost a year ago and I'm STILL finding their crappy workmanship. After they "finished", I found paint all over my foyer light fixture, staircase spindles, hardwood floors, counters, TV cords, baseboards, and paint drips throughout my powder room, the last room they did. I had them come back to fix what I immediately saw, and have been finding poor workmanship ever since. Trust someone else with your paint job.

Work was started and completed on time. Workers took care to caulk all openings and replace boards as specified. They carefully painted and trimmed as needed. When there was a question it was answered by the main office and followed up on at the site. I would hire them again.

The painters were very courteous and efficient. The management team was very easy and pleasant to work with. The painters did a great job and left everything in good shape.

We had a terrific experience with The Painting Company. Their price was extremely reasonable considering the job (remove stipple from ceiling, re-mud and paint) and was done quickly and in the time frame/deadline we had. They worked extra hours to ensure the job was completed on time. Their communication and customer service was fantastic!

I had a good experience with the Painting Company. Scheduling the estimate was very easy. The consultant who came out to do the estimate was very professional. I shared with her what I wanted to accomplish with the painting project and she gave very helpful suggestions. In addition, to painting the walls in my home, I had several areas where the ceiling had water damage that need to be repaired. She explained to me which areas would need to be completely repainted and which areas could just be a repair. There was no pressure and she did not try to sale me on services I did not need. The estimate provided was very reasonable and actually came in lower than an estimate I had gotten from another company. In addition, they committed to finishing the job in 3 days. I love their online customer checklist where you type in all the details of the job (rooms, color names, etc.). This helped me to plan the project and helped ensure there were no errors in communicating my color choices.

The two gentlemen who completed the work were very nice and I felt completely comfortable with them being in my home. One of the gentlemen, who I believe was the lead worker, was very conscientious about completing the job in a timely manner. Although he was unable to work on one the days originally arranged, he came the very next day and completed the job.

My only issue was with the close out of the job. The project manager who visited on the first day said he would come back at the end to inspect the work before we did the payment, but he never came back. Luckily, I had no real issue with the work. Overall, I had a good experience with this company and would use them again.

We wanted to get a few bedrooms and dining room painted in the house we just purchased. We bidded about 7 companies and not only did this company impress us with their professionalism and credentials, they were also the lowest bid. The sales guys that showed up for the estimate explained everything clearly and made us feel comfortable with the process.

Scheduling was a breeze and they were able to work with our schedule. The project was originally quoted at 2-3 days, but ended up only taking 1. The crew was nice and there was check-ins and follow ups each step of the way. I will be using these guys for my future interior painting needs!

The Painting Company painted several rooms in my home, including a high-ceiling stairwell, removed popcorn from the ceilings, and wallpaper from one room. I wanted to love this company. In the end, I am mostly happy with the job, but it wasn t easy getting there.

The painters did a good job. They were neat, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end. They didn t get paint where they shouldn t have. I think they worked hard to try to make me happy. I am particular, but I don t think I m unreasonable. I was paying them a significant amount of money to give me a professional job. They did a great job on the ceilings, a fine job on the walls. The windows and doors were at times a struggle. Maybe I had unrealistic expectations about the prep that would be done. I judged it by what I would have done if I had been painting, and found it lacking.

The people on the admin side, who answer the phone and do paperwork, were very competent. The paint arrived correctly and on time. On the other hand, the salesperson and project manager were beyond frustrating. It took several weeks and multiple requests to get a contract from the salesperson. In the end, it was probably still too vague, as evidenced by my unhappiness with the prep work. The project manager showed up the first day, and I never saw nor heard from him again. An email I sent him went unanswered. When the painter tried to call him at the end of the job, he didn t answer.

My job was scheduled to start on a Monday. On Sunday afternoon, I got an automated email saying Your paint job has been scheduled for Tuesday! What?? No apology, no explanation, like the Monday appointment never happened. I called the office Monday morning and asked if someone would be showing up that day. She had no idea, but would have the project manager call. An hour later (after I called the office again), he finally called. My job had been delayed, so sorry. No one would be coming until Tuesday. Fine, delays happen. But I m informed with an automated email that doesn t even tell me that? Unacceptable.

The paint job was good. Some parts of it were even excellent. But I think this is a company that is too successful, too busy, and maybe stretched too thin to give adequate customer service to small residential customers like me. Everyone else seems to give a stellar review, but that just wasn t my experience.

From the beginning to the end, all painting and all appointments were done professionally and punctually . That counts in my home. I have used The Painting Company for commercial work, and based on their performance included them in the proposals that I entertained. While not the least expensive, they were reasonable. The team chosen to come to my home was always on time, stayed until the day was at an end, rarely took breaks, and did an outstanding job. I understood the proposal, I understood the quality of paint, and the communications as well as the work were outstanding. Five stars. I would and will call on them again.

We hired the Painting company to paint and repair the inside of our home after having water damage. This company exceeded my expectations.

My first interaction with Leah (design consultant) was nothing but AMAZING. She walked me through the process step by step and made me feel like I was her ONLY client (when in all actuality she had many more). From start to finish she was there for me and was accessible at all times!

Adrianna, Junior, and Jose were absolutely AWESOME! I needed popcorn ceiling replaced ( I know, why is that still even a thing in homes) and they perfected the job! Adrianna and Jose have such a steady hand! They walked me through each step, asked if I had any concerns and let me know when they would be going and coming. They communicated the entire time and completed the project as stated on the contract. They respected my request and wore masks inside the home, AND left the room and high traffic areas extremely CLEAN!!!!. I m in love with their work and would recommend the company 100% to anyone. One major issue: Terrible response for follow ups. Been over a month waiting to have a spray pattern corrected. Back and forth with texts promising resolution.... still nothing done.

Did not have a good experience - poor communication, poor clean-up, work quality below average. Communication - no calls on changes to schedule. While I understand it is weather dependent, you have to call them to get any information - and then its "I'm not sure". Both during and after job - cleanup was subpar. Paint chips still exist all around the house and in flower beds. Patio and deck furniture are scattered everywhere. Quality not fantastic either - Paid for 2-coats - had to demand to get it. Several of the window sills were so thin you could see old color. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

We had The Painting Company of Atlanta paint the interior of our home and remove the popcorn ceiling in the upstairs. The project manager visited the house daily to review the work done. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. The painters were courteous and professional. The furniture was thoroughly wrapped in plastic to protect it from the ceiling material and paint. We just finished a large project with The Painting Company that involved repainting the majority of the inside of our house. We could not be more satisfied with the work and how everything turned out. Everyday the crew was on time, worked hard, paid meticulous attention to detail and was 100% professional and pleasant throughout the entire process. For any painting needs going forward we would look no further than simply calling The Painting Company again.

Very unprofessional call center person on the phone. Sounded miserable didn't even book an appointment because of that.

Had wrap around porch and rear deck stained. Rear deck was a color change. They recommend Sherwin Williams Super Deck Elastomeric stain. The porch they used same Cabot Stain as has been on the deck for years. The porch came out very good. A few minor things I will touch up and looks like they may have gotten a little stain on my siding. The rear deck is just so so. The pickets they sprayed with regular Super Deck stain and the coverage is inconsistent in areas. The Elastomeric stuff I am not impressed with. They had to do a second coat because it does such a poor job of covering. Stupid me did not do my research and this stuff gets very mixed reviews. I will have to find time to rework some of the pickets. I have never been a fan of spraying because you get too thin of a coating. Next time I will pay extra to have everything brushed and rolled.

I have updated my rating because after 2 attempts to get them to resolve some touch ups I gave up and started to do some of the work myself. As I touched up some I found masking tape still under my porch and the railing prep was probably poor as several corners have chipped and peeled and other areas need some work. Such a shame as I liked their work before and even this job was mostly done very well.

I had a large project painting the entire interior of my home and it now looks amazing. The crew was on time, very neat and meticulous in their work. I will say I ran into a few problems. Some re-painting necessary and the project manager was non-existent after his first visit. Fortunately, I didn't need his help as I worked everything out with the crew and the home office. They were very responsive to address my concerns and I will definitely use The Painting Company again.

We used the Painting Company of Atlanta to paint the interior of our new Home. They did a great job. The entire three bedroom four bath home was painted in one week. They called in extra help, at no added cost to us, to insure it was completed on time as promised. The painters were professional, and made sure that everything was completed and cleaned up to our satisfaction. They may have missed a few old hard to see nail pops, but the overall work was great, and was a great value.

I had the Painting Company come to paint the outside of my house. The estimator came and had me a detailed estimate with pictures in a couple of days. Their pricing was transparent and reasonable.

When they came to paint, they found some major siding water damage. I really need to re-side my entire house, but I didn't want to complete such a huge project right now. My project foreman (Jorge) and my estimator (Myra) took a lot of time to help me figure out my options. I couldn't be more pleased with them both.

The crew was on time every day, did a terrific job, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. I would give the Painting Company my highest recommendation (this from someone who has had too many bad experiences with contractors to count!).

Our interior job was a combination of drywall fixing, remediation, and painting. The Painting Company did a really great job working with our color choices and our schedules. Now our son has a "Batcave" colored room and our basement looks like a showroom! The painters were very professional and polite.

We just had our daughter's house in Smyrna painted and I can not say enough about how pleased we were with the entire company from Andrea who coordinated to Jason who did the estimate to Wes who met us the morning the job started and finally to the 2 guys who patched and painted and worked a miracle. This was to me a big job as there was a good bit of patching that needed to be done in several rooms but after the job was done in 2 days we were blown away by how perfect the whole house looked. Crew spent a week repairing wood damage and painting my exterior of my house. They did a great job.

I needed most of the inside of my house repainted. It's a fairly newer home, but it just needed some updating. I changed my walls from yellows/tans to greys and blues, and I could not be happier with this company! The two painters that came to paint my house did a FANTASTIC job. They coated everything evenly, giving my whole house a fresh new look. They were also FAST and kept everything clean as they went. They even vacuumed and mopped before leaving.
