Fajitas were so chewy it was the worst I have ever eaten. Flour and Corn Tortillas hard and chewy old..
Rice that's not Mexican rice? I dont know what kind of rice that was. Workers were very nice came to our table several times.
Do not waste your time here. It was a good 15 minutes after we were seated before we even had anyone come to the table. The excuse of I had to find a pen didn't fly because she never even wrote the order down. Service was TERRIBLE which is in line with the experience I had yesterday outside. I ordered a margarita to go, and the server wasn't going to give me my change! Her response when I asked for it was "you really want your change?" Both of these experiences reflect directly on the management. It all starts from the top. The food wasn't even that good. I didn't even finish my burrito. Not enough meat, had more of the fillers than anything else. Definitely on the do not come back to list!
Walking around the river walk and the shortest wait time we found was 1.5hrs until we walked upon this place and the guy outside told us 20 minutes and we ended up only waiting 10. The food was great, the service was great! Going back for more of this cheesecake before I leave town.
First time going there and won't be the last.... Food was great tasted great, service was awesome and he was funny too... Drinks was made just how I like it.,. Will be back to enjoy the experience again
What a wonderful experience we had here. We ate here twice on our vacation and the food was some of the best I've ever had. I want to thank Josh and Lisa Marie for the best experience and service. Such genuinely beautiful people, that went above and beyond. Don't waste your time walking around looking for food on the riverwalk. Head straight to The Original Mexican Restaurant. Thanks again. We will be back specifically to eat here.
This restaurant never fails to impress! This is the only restaurant on the river walk that closes late and do their best to sit you right away. A big thanks to manager Terry and server Robert (Bobby) for their kindness, attentiveness and generosity. My family and I are customers for life.
I don't understand the lower reviews. Our party of 5 was seated within minutes. Chips and salsa were great. Server gave us 3 baskets of chips and 5 containers of salsa. She returned numerous times to refill drinks. Our food order was delivered promptly, and was very tasty.
Where do I begin? Our experience began with a 15 minute wait at our table. The photographer came to greet us before our hostess. While I was waiting I read the reviews. THEY ARE TRUE. After we got our food, it was awful- and I barely got anything. The one thing I did get was the guacamole, which tasted as if it was canned. My father said the chicken in his enchiladas had no taste. The one thing that was decent was the chips and salsa, as well as the pina colada that i had.
This was a good place , the prices where a little high. It does sit right in the river walk. Great views. Fun to sit and watch the people and boat tours while you have some good food and cold drink. Full bar and great margaritas! The wait times are a little crazy. Lots of tables waiting to be cleaned as people stood in line. I saw several leave the line. Patio takes longer to be seated. Inside is very authentic, I liked it. If your looking for new shiny updates , continue looking.
Food was good and authentic Mexican food but was a little disappointed in the lack of spice in the food. The hot sauce had a kick , loved it.
Not the best Mexican food I've ever had but it was still delicious. Service was great though!
