A very cool place. The music was amazing! It is a bit small and crowded most of the time and it is a bit awkward to pass right in between the musicians performing to go to the washroom but overall the place has a pretty cool vibe.

The Orbit Room is Toronto's best live music spot, featuring Toronto's best musician's and fantastic guest artists. You are guaranteed a fantastic night at the Orbit Room, the vibe is comfortable and relaxed, the patio is a great place to meet people and the dance floor rocks and is just enough to fit everyone. The bartenders are friendly and fast, and you are welcomed in when you buy your ticket. And to mention, the ticket price is the best deal in town for a fabulous night! Can't say enough about the good times I've had at the Orbit Room!

Fantastic! Funny, friendly, efficient bar staff; absolutely stellar live music (Horshack tonight, but others as well); always a great place for drinks and dancing, and worth whatever distance it takes to get there!

You can always count on the music here being great. If you want a table you have to come earlier. It's a smaller place so they fill up fast. If you've never been here before you might not think much of the dance floor at first but believe me, it will be FULL by the end of the night so this is definitely a place to dance and have fun!

You can be up front and personal in this upstairs cozy live music venue. I had the pleasure of seeing and listening to Blackburn, a trio of brothers with their band, get the crowd up Movin and Groovin. A good night for all.

This is a place to come to dance, NOT to sit and enjoy live music. By dance I mean sway side to side cause it is almost too packed to actually dance and definitely too packed to see the band at all. Getting to the bar or the washroom is a mission of shoving people aside, and trying to squeeze by the band who plays in the hallway because the stage is so tiny. I was a little annoyed that the band played about 6 songs and then took a "short break" (they were gone for an hour). My boyfriend gets anxious in small crowded spaces so we had to leave before they even came back on.

My life-partner took me to his friends BDay party at the OrbitRoom, live music was awesome, great place until needing the ladies room while the bands on lol (someone move that piece of equipment, andbkeep the path clear please! Small yet dark&intimate, 2thumbs Up! 8-)

I know the Orbit Room many years now, have seen lots of great local talent in it, including Dave Murphy and his great band and this great includes those who ve come and gone over the years. Like, guy on brown-marble (-ish) 5-string bass, French-sounding last name, I forgot... Anyway, I check 4 stars and not 5 because: 1. of the awkward, narrow-elongated form of the room; competes with the Silver Dollar lol, and 2. Dave not turning on the B3 last time I went there this day last week
Was fun though, bless your hearts, all of you, owners, management, staff, and
my most respected beloved envied pitied yet immensely appreciated

Went there on a Thursday night to take in the live band called "Hot Fiyah". They were amazing! Drinks were a decent price... The only thing I didn't like was the chairs and the arrangement. It could use some work to make the place look a bit more inviting.

Love the vibe at this place. The variety of bands mixed with a fun crowd makes it a fun night out. The place is a little small and it can be a bit too crowded at times, but , it's the live music and great energy that makes you feel like you picked the right spot for a fun night out.
Can't wait for the weekend again!

Love this place! Mondays (jordan john) and tuesdays (sattalites) and came for LMT one time they were great too. Too bad the music starts so late. One of my favourite spots for live music in the city. Support live music TO!

As always a great place to see some live music and shake it out a bit. The band tonight (Hot Fire) was one I haven't seen before and they were fantastic. The crowd as always was eclectic leaning towards the old age brackets with snippets of just about any group you might think to find in the city. Love the variety. Lots of good options for spirits, some wine, and a few local beers on tap including steamwhistle which is always a winner. Not a bad way to spend a birthday!

I've been coming to this place for years. To me it resembles a New York music club - intimate, good bands, fair amount of regulars, mixed crowd all there for the music and dancing. But I've noticed over the years and especially last night that the speakers or sound configurations are WAY off - certain sounds loudly tweak and screech and after 30 minutes my ears are ringing. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!
