The Olde Marco Inn & Suites Review

Great stay here at Olde Marco. In the northern part of Marco Island this hotel is in the perfect location. Close to Snook Inn restaurant, just a quarter mile from the hotel. They're open till 12am, so it's really nice having something nearby to eat along with the shops. We were close to the marina where we rented our boat and very close to Tigertail beach. I was really impressed with the rooms, nice rooms, open concept and a very cool linear balcony. There is plenty of room for 6 people. We had 2 rooms- one king room with a bathroom, and another with 2 queens and a bathroom. There's also a sofa bed. Very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay here.

The room was lovely and comfortable. It's connected to a little outdoor shopping court where we enjoyed a delicious outdoor breakfast at Petite Soleil. And there are other places, on the premise, to eat, shop and there is even a Beauty Salon. The only thing lacking was a nice view from our room and balcony/porch. One side looked onto a street and the other looked down onto a parking lot.

Reasonably priced. Huge apartment. Comfortable beds and furniture. Full kitchen. Imaculately clean. Friendly staff. Excellent French restaurant and bar on site in the original inn building. Beautiful swimming pool. Close to everything by car. A hidden gem.

Nice place on Marco Island. Good location, great value lots of things to do. there's a lot of up beat places to go to. Good food like the Snook Inn it's on the water with a Tiki Bar with live music.

Absolutely amazing stay! very spacious, clean suites with love to the details. Alex and the team are amazing and provide the best service you can imagine. We got great tips for where to dine and see the sunset from.
Our conclusion: amazing hotel with the most service oriented team you could wish for!

Really nice hotel / condo we had a great time there on Marco island. The only reason I take a star is because they did not clean the floor or the table each day. Nor was there a way to sweep up after food. But the kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to make most of my meals there.

Not much to do around but great place to have a quiet calm vacation

Nice rooms and very helpful staff but look out for the $50 cleaning charge per visit. We stayed 2 nights and this significantly increased the cost even though we left the place exactly as we found it.

Very strong 3 out of 5. The good: The staff was nice and accommodating. The pool was cozy and clean. The bad: The 2 rooms we stayed in were dated and we were moved due to the AC being broken. We originally were going to stay in another room but the hot water didn't work. I will give them kudos for the construction that was being done on the property when we arrived as it looked like they were trying to update a section of one of the buildings (although we weren't notified prior to booking about the construction and the elevator was broken). We were on the 4th floor, in our first room and for a short time, there was NO RAILING and we have a crazy 4 year old. Parking was free and there are a couple spots to walk to locally. If you're looking for a place ON or walking distance to the beach, this isn't it. If you're looking for a quaint, non-brand hotel, with larger rooms and don't mind an inconsistent experience, give this place a try!

We stayed 1 night with some friends who wanted to see the area for their wedding. It was nice, but definitely not an area you visit for just the one day. Our room was very nice, 2 bedrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Basically an apartment. Our bed was a bit lumpy, and our ceiling fan only had a low setting which made it hard for us to sleep as we prefer the fan noise at night. Everything was beautifully clean and tidy. The area is not bad, but there isn't much to actually do. Shops all close up before dinner time and it costs like $8 to park at the beach, which you have to drive to. I don't think my bf and I will return to the area, but the inn is a nice place to stay!

Roaches, noisy people, and the fire alarm kept beeping all night

I get that places near the water may have a rodent issue but at least clean the droppings. I have no issue with the traps, but I do have an issue that you can see dropping coming from the holes in the ceilings of the walls. At least have someone clean up the droppings daily so u can try to conceal with issue
There is no daily maid service which I am sure contributes to the rodent issue. I had no idea what to do with my garbage and did not want to eat in the room for fear of leaving food in the garbage.

This hotel was so clean, quiet and relaxing! It was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. The rooms were perfectly decorated and I loved some of the updated touches of the suite. The bonus of having a kitchen for leftovers was amazing. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in an apt suite, very clean with a huge patio. The kitchen had various essentials, such as bottle openers which came in handy :) nice quiet area

I stayed in july and this place is awsome!! It was a party of 7 and we all fit in the apartment with 2 rooms. Love love!!! Coming back soon!!

Beautiful island and the rooms are very spacious and really nice and clean. Nice pool area and around 5 restaurants within the hotel.

The unit was comfy and included custom furnishings by the unit's private owner.
Kitchen had a problem with sugar ants.
The "live entertainment" at the restaurant downstairs was loud but ended by 9:30.
Pool and spa area very nice.
Generally a good experience.

Excellent Hotel, excellent treatment by the workers especially the Manager. Nice place to spend with family or with a group of friends.

Nice suites. 2 bed rm. Kitchen. 2 great restaurants

The suite was surprisingly spacious. Jason checked us in after hours. Very quiet. Small pool, not crowded. 1 min walk to great breakfast place, ice cream parlor, takeout fish market, and upscale restuarant. We loved it.

For just getting over hurricane Irma the rooms where very nice. They are really not open yet but we got lucky and they let es stay there.

Large clean rooms and a full kitchen plus large patio made this a great place for my family of 4.

Got hit hard by the hurricane last year. It was in a serious state of disrepair when I went but they were slowly getting it fixed. Close to some shops and a small art show.

Quiet, enjoyable and the pool was SUPER clean! It was a great place to stay for a family.

We had a wonderful experience at those hotel. The suite we stayed in was so nice. It s super spacious and great if you are staying for a longer period. Each suite was 2 rooms. It was perfect for 4 of us! There is a full kitchen and living room. The shower was powerful and the screened in back porch was awesome. We look forward to coming back to stay here and visit Marco island.

Came for a family vacation stayed here, and I must say it was the best, clean,smelled good, incredible place just overall nice will be staying again and spreading the word! Keep up the good work

You can't buy peace, in this place you'll find the surroundings peaceful and calm, just what I was looking for and found it here!!! Great place to rest and get away from the noise.

We had a really lovely time here. A beautiful 2 bedroom suite with a well equipped kitchen, and a beautiful screened in patio. The shops were largely on limited hours/closed for low season, but LeeBe's Fish for the people served up great, fresh fried seafood just across the parking lot, and the pool/Jacuzzi were very nice.

Bonus - they have a collection of books and movies up front that you can check out, and we had a hard time picking one because they had excellent choices.

I did not like it .. old..and a little polluting .. !! Huge apartments two bedrooms two bathrooms, living room, kitchen, huge terrace. We were also in 8..but all very worn..Pay the cleaning extra end even for only two nights 54 $ .. You can't even see the sea .. I don't recommend.

Rooms are apartments that are rented to tourists. Feels like a hotel, but is none. Apartments are well maintained, large and well equipped. Gladly again.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Marco Island that is quiet and off the beaten path away from the traffic and noise but still close to many venues, then check out this simple get-away. Standard amenities.

Absolutely excellent hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel like you're part of the family. The rooms are clean and gorgeous (much nicer than the rooms in the luxury hotel we stayed at our last visit here). Highly recommend the deluxe suites, they have recently been renovated and are awesome!

If you are looking for the beach, traffic, NOISE, Hotels, and chaos, this is not your place. If you want the feel of old Florida you will love this place. If you want to walk to the best food and entertainment on the Island this is your place. A historical gem. I highly recommend the Old Marco Inn and will be back. We've been here a day and its nice. Quiet guests and alot is within walking distance. Love the open patios thats my favorite. All in all id come back

Excellent rooms. Very clean, and reasonably priced for the space you receive! Ample parking (in the shade!) and easy access to beaches. Adorable shops and restaurants on property as well!

It is a great location and affordable for the island. We are enjoying our stay. We wish they were better about cleaning the floors and bringing new towels to the room.

I stayed at this resort for 3 days/2 nights. I wish I could've stayed a whole month long. The rooms smelled great. Everything was very clean. Extremely spacious. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I am a nit picker when it comes to hotels. I usually change bed sheets to my own from home...I am happy to say, I did not need to do that on this vacation. I have found my new home away from home. There is also a small strip of cute little stores: Joe's Hideout, a Boston Pizza spot & Sweet Dreams, a yummy cupcake store. Both owned by Joe & served by Barbie. Super cool people. Can't wait to go back.

This place is great. Spacious suite, great balcony. Definitely recommend.

It is a beautiful place but needs a public dock to fish. Naples and Fort Meyer have it, so at the time of booking, they have my preference ...

Rooms were not as described, Hidden "cleaning fees", overpriced, I would not stay here.

Had an amazing weekend at Olde Marco Island Inn! Karen checked us in and was great from begining to end. She was so helpful and nice. She even helped us pick out places to go and see. The new manager Alex was very hospitable as well! He was so friendly and accommodating and made sure our stay was perfect. The rooms were spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. They even had bikes for rent, which we took advantage of. Everything was great and more than I expected! We will definitely be coming back!

Checked in very late, very easy to self checkin and the room was great. Two bedrooms with separate bathrooms, kitchen and very large screened in balcony.

While I haven't stayed at the hotel proper, I have taken advantage of some of the on-site Shoppes, as well as swinging through to hit the conveniently located pokestop and gym right in the middle of the campus. The place is also located smack in the middle of several shopping and dining locations on Marco, and all can be easily and quickly walked to. If you've got the money to spare for the location, the Old Marco Island Inn and Suites would be a great place to stay on your visit

Our large family (6) needed a place with plenty of space and a way to do some of our own cooking. This was ideal. Very clean and spacious. We loved it and would definitely return.

Stayed here several times. Good for a family or couples vacation

Wasn't really impressed. Our unit was advertised with a water view but it doesn't have one. The unit had some maintenance issues and the dishes were not clean. A beach side location will be better. Marco Island is wonderful!

I've been coming here for the past nine years now. I love this place everyone is friendly and always helpful. I really like that I can always relax and unwind and call it a home away from home.

What is that god awful smell in the reception. Mold problem

I will be staying at Olde Marco in March so me and my wife went to look at a room. The staff gave us a tour of the room and the facility. They were super nice and answered all of our questions. I'm excited to stay for a few nights in March.

Suite was beautiful and very clean. Fabulous view and kitchen had everything we needed. Several restaurants and shops close by, lots to do and see. Centrally located and staff was very pleasant and eager to help. Pool was clean, heated and well-maintained. We will likely be returning. Happy to see how well the Island has recovered from Irma.
