Very strong 3 out of 5. The good: The staff was nice and accommodating. The pool was cozy and clean. The bad: The 2 rooms we stayed in were dated and we were moved due to the AC being broken. We originally were going to stay in another room but the hot water didn't work. I will give them kudos for the construction that was being done on the property when we arrived as it looked like they were trying to update a section of one of the buildings (although we weren't notified prior to booking about the construction and the elevator was broken). We were on the 4th floor, in our first room and for a short time, there was NO RAILING and we have a crazy 4 year old. Parking was free and there are a couple spots to walk to locally. If you're looking for a place ON or walking distance to the beach, this isn't it. If you're looking for a quaint, non-brand hotel, with larger rooms and don't mind an inconsistent experience, give this place a try!
