Good place to visit with family and friends for swimming and fishing...

Another good park it's small but has 3 separate playgrounds, a track that wraps a lake in the center that offered swimming and row boating

It's an OK place. Probably good if you have small children. The beach is small, there is limited seating, and the bathrooms are tiny and dank. You get charged to get in the park and then charged to swim. I'd expect a little more for the price. The walking path they advertise consists mostly of the asphalt driveway that you drive on. The playground equipment is OK quality, nothing really different than any neighborhood free playground. You can rent a row boat or paddle boat. The fishing isn't so great. The scenery is kinda boring and not much to look at while going around in your boat. There are good sand volleyball courts.

Love this park. When alone I walk to get my cardio and when with family we BBQ and enjoy watching the kiddos play.

Awesome park that has a 1-mile concrete walking path around the lake. Event center, area for vendors when they have events, picnic area with grills. No dogs allowed. Swimming and paddle boats available to rent. I got married here in their hall. The deck is beautiful.

Good park with swimming, boating and fishing. Plenty of playgrounds for the kids. Only complaint is that upkeep isn't the greatest. Wear shoes you don't mind getting duck poo on. Keep in mind that pets are not allowed here. There are other options nearby if you're looking for a dog-friendly park.

Great open green spaces, nice walking path, fun play spaces.

Olander Park is one of the Sylvania parks, and therefore not free like the Toledo Metroparks. This park is definitely geared towards summer more than colder weather, and the playgrounds were in disrepair when we stopped there.

Beautiful place, with nice big man made pond good for fishing. Park benches all around the pond, BBQ grills through out the park, seven dollar to park on primaces but free parking outside the park.

You can fish&swim.

It was a nice place, up until the part where I was told "No Pets Allowed" and thus I have no desire to ever visit again since my whole reason for going was to enjoy the park with my dog.

Love to walk around the lake. However, goose feces is absolutely disgusting. It is EVERYWHERE. No one cleans it from the blacktop path.
Dogs are not allowed in park.

Clean and peaceful walking trail. Not overloaded with other visitors. Beautiful pond views.

Great place for locals, they get in free. Not much shade in the over-priced swimming area. Lots of weeds under-water. Crabby lifeguard. Shelter was a good deal. Everyone attending our party got to waive the parking fee on a holiday @ $7 per car. Charcoal grill was full of ash from the last user, some come early if you're cooking. Staff does not clean grills. There were only 2 electric outlets and the water outlet was hidden under a serving counter.

The park itself is a little run-down staff is really not that friendly. Also the dogs not being allowed there is a deal-breaker for me if I'm going to a park I'm taking my dog.

So easy to work with. The hall was perfect for our reunion and at the right price too.

Great place to take young kids fishing, they keep the banks clear and shallow. They keep it stocked with trout, blue gill and large mouth bass.

Not a good place to swim but overall it's a fine place to be at and it's very safe.

Great park for jogging, brief walk with a nice view of the pond. There are swings, benches where you can play or sit and enjoy the view.

Always a peaceful and relaxing place to visit. Also the fishing is very good as well

Great trail for ripsticking/walking/biking or running. But the bathrooms could use improvement.

Nice place. Stupid that they don't allow dogs. I have to pay taxes to have this park and they don't even allow me to bring my dog in? What's the point. A dog isn't gonna destroy it .

Had a great time kayaking, swimming, and picnicking.

I have been here lots of times with my friends and they have caught 6 pound bass. Very nice and calm.

Clean, ample parking, nice playgrounds. Clean bathrooms with water and electricity. 9nly con is that it costs $3.00-5.00 per vehicle depending on the day.

Roundabouts around the city of Sylvania on Mitchaw and Centennial are looking pretty rough. Do better!!!

Boat rentals and a walking/bike path that goes all the way around. Has fishing and swimming seasons as well.

A beautiful & serene place. I thoughly enjoyed being there with my friend.

We enjoyed the new Catherine Frye playscape. It's not completely finished but looks great so far. Multiple playgrounds, lake, area for swimming ( which just looked okay but we didn't swim) sand volleyball, lots of picnic tables. Paved loop around the lake for walking. FYI: NO DOGS ALLOWED.

It's a nice Park for the Family. We enjoyed it! We were playing like we were still kids. It has a creek, different playground areas, and a pond area. Love it!

Comfortable, good walking trail, nice lake for canoeing & swimming.
