Absolutely loved the performance of "Paradise" @Odyssey Theater on Sunday, February 10th. The theater is 99 seats and I could both see and hear the performance from row E in a very comfortable seat. This two-person play speaks to women's empowerment and support. Though it has that extra dynamic of the young lady being Muslim, in so many cultures women as a whole are still having to fight to live the life they're capable of designing and educationally preparing themselves to achieve. The producers Viola Davis & Julius Tennon chose wisely, the play and the actors are wonderful.

The theater is just okay. I wasn't impressed at all with the production. This is a small theater that has three theaters inside. Three plays going on at once with very little coordination amongst the staff and extremely poor communication to the attendees. The place needs to be better managed

I randomly come across this place and was surprised that it was not only a theatre but one of great talent. I went to a showing the next day and was not disappointed. The room does get really warm with the all human bodies packed in it, but otherwise it was a fine establishment.

I have been going to the playhouse for many years. Every single production that I have seen has been very well-written, good casting and the stage is very well-constructed. The last production I saw was "Taste of Honey" and the live music was amazing

Great small theatre with three stages. Easy to find and with on-site parking. The plays are generally more on the cerebral side, but they also stage classic plays and musicals. Air conditioned with tiered seating. One of our favorite LA theatres.

I came here with Laura S. and Nelson F. to watch the magic show Smoke & Mirrors. They have a parking lot right in front of the theatre available for $4 unless you come on a weekday, in which case the parking is free! Street parking is also available in this area as well. They have three different theatres here, all showing different shows. We had bought our tickets on Goldstar but were still given lovely tickets to the front row center seats. Yay!

The show was really fun, especially since all three of us were able to participate in it. Albie Selznick is really talented and was a joy to watch. He put on a great performance, despite having a broken right foot (which we did not find out about until after the show). So talented! The cast of the show was great and we got to meet them afterwards--they are all really nice and friendly.

The theatre was intimate and offered great seating, and I would definitely be interested in coming back to see shows here in the future. Smoke & Mirrors is not currently playing but you should definitely check the show out when they return.

Went hear for the first time to catch a screening Steam Bath. All in all perfect for three act show. Parking is easy and the walk to seating is suspenseful, which adds to the setting of the show. It looks as if each stage had decent seating.

You must go to the Odyssey Theatre and see the play "Passions". What an incredible experience! Tonight's premier will include producer Viola Davis and the incredible cast, crew members and most importantly my childhood friend and the writer of this amazing work of art, Laura Marie Censabella. The play tells the story of the relationship between a jaded but brilliant scientist and an equally brilliant young female student who is "self taught" and a devout Muslim. You'll laugh, maybe even cry (I did!) and come to the realization that you have been a witness and participant of the theater. You must go the Odyssey Theatre and experience this amazing work!

Just saw HIR, an original, thought-provoking production with excellent acting. Written by Taylor Mac. A great value for the entertainment dollar at an accessible venue on Sepulveda, south of Santa Monica.

Saw an excellent show , solo performance with John Fleck, different from the actor Affleck. John is a rare, powerful actor and his performance was simply magical. Both in conception, direction and performance. Good theater place. Good crowd. It was the last performance and there was free wine and cheese and people lingered after the performance and chatted. Nice!!!

I went to go see Dr. Pat Allen. She was hysterical. Totally a must see. Loved her & learned so much about relationships & interacting w the opposite sex. The theatre itself is a bit on the old side and may need an upgrade. MaryYourSoul(dot)com

This is a very nice theatre space. They have three 99 seat theatres. The production I saw was well done. The set was surprisingly elaborate for this scale of theatre. They produce 6 shows a year and rent to outside projects. Check out the parking on the website.
