My first and last time going to this hospital. I brought my daughter here through the Pediatric ER and immediately regretted it. The hospital is filthy! In my few hours here I've seen several patients walking around and being transported without masks on as well as some staff members. Are u kidding me?! You guys may be vaccinated but you can still carry the virus and give it to your patients.

My daughter had to go for a CAT Scan and I watched them wheel one person out without a mask on THEN proceeded to try and bring my daughter into the room without sanitizing or wiping anything down. I stopped the technician in his tracks and told him the room needs to be cleaned and he looked surprised that I said something smh. The doctor that treated my daughter looked and acted as if he rather be anywhere else in the world than there. The stretcher sheets had strands of hair on it that was not my child's, u could tell the room hadn't been sanitized therefore I wiped everything down myself. As previously stated this was my 1st time at this hospital and was not aware that it is located in a bad part of NJ. I will go back to utilizing the ER at Columbia or NYU.

the department of labor and delivery is excellent, all the staff is very professional.

My Mom was admitted to St. Joeseph Hospital in Paterson NJ. They took good care of her. She had pneumonia. Yes people complain about waiting as I see in other reviews, but waiting is a part of life , we need to understand the Nurses, Dr.'s and Tech's are working hard to get us and our loved ones better.

Worst hospital ever. Was there for 6 hours with my mother whom was in pain after a wait came to find out they took her out of the system claiming they had called her when they didn't. Every time they called we asked who are you calling and checking with the name and nothing. Pure negligence on their part. They are inconssiderent to the pain of other. Worst hospital ever.

Longest 5 hour wait of my life. The ER is just terrible. Staff unprofessional. I should have gone to Hackensack hospital.

If I could say 0 stars I would. Don t ever come to this hospital. I ve watch people who were bleeding be left in the waiting room. People with broken bones left in the waiting room. I ve gone through 15 hour waits just sitting there in pain and so tired I wanted to cry. Please knock this building down and torturing people. Worst place ever in history. I m never going back there. I ll catch a bus to a different hospital. I d be home before anyone who comes here.

Terrible experience! Stay far away from this place. Everyone is extremely rude even when you show them nothing but respect and comply with rules. They just talk down on you and show no compassion for concerned relatives.

These hospital have become so bad with staff in the ER... you ll wait even 3 hours sitting down during their 3rd shift for kids which is terrible..

Every time I went there, never had a problem, they fixed me up, and sent me home feeling better then when I got there.

Stay away from this hospital!

If it wasn't for the helpfulness of one or two of the staff in the patient relations, a lovely clergy person from pastoral care, the social worker, the charge nurse, and one or two of the nurses (on the Telemetry floor only), the rating would have been ZERO stars. Absolutely Terrible!

The attending doctors deserve a NEGATIVE rating. Jut Horrible.

In this hospital they let you die, and they are badly educated. THEY DO NOT RESPECT PEOPLE WHO ARE DEANAGING BECAUSE IT IS NOT A PRIORITY.

I don t recommend this hospital at all. If you have a sick child your best bet is to go anywhere else but here. My son had a fever this morning around 3am I take him to the St Joe s . I believe she is the head nurse of the pediatric emergency. She was really rude and very unprofessional. She was upset because she was calling out for my son. They had all the patients on the far right around 40 people waiting. There was a gentleman causing a scene with the police officers and hospital security extremely loud. I made her aware you can t hear anything from over there she continued to be unprofessional and upset that she called out for me like 4 or 5 times. I had to repeat myself and found myself going back and forth with her. And I stopped to tell her my son is sick and to just check him. This lady has no manners and extremely rude. If she doesn t like what she does for a living, she should find something else something with no customer service. Honestly I didn t even let her finish. I grabbed my son and went to another hospital. This will be the last time I will go there.
