Great performance! The cast was an amazing group of very talented men and women. The character of Nathan Detroit played by David Shaffer was excellent. I look forward to visiting the Naples players again in the near future. The area it's full of beautiful stores and great restaurants with free parking in the garage directly across the street from the theatre and shopping. Lunch, theatre, shopping, wine and dinner! A wonderful way to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon in sunny Naples.

A beautiful theater that produces quality performances. This place has everything, talented performers, amazing orchestras, technical precision and amazing artistry. Plus they have so many different offerings throughout the season from, musicals to dramas to comedies to improv. There is something for everyone. Make sure to check it out when you are in town.

One of the best community theatres I've been to. We went to Sister Act and had a great time! The cast and crew gave it their all drawing us in and keeping us captivated for the entire performance. This particular show was better than the occasional disappointing professional theatre show. The bar has been set high for next time!

An amazing theater to both act and watch. The cast and management are super friendly and make you feel like you're among friends and peers, no matter who you are. Definitely recommend.

We just saw "Chicago" at the Naples Players Sugden Theatre. It was very good and I and the people that I was with had a wonderful time. The Naples Players is a great place to go for exceptional performances such as this. Highly recommended to go again and again!

Nice venue, no bad seats in the house. Valet parking was reasonable at 5.00 and was needed for the early show. It was extremely busy and street parking was nonexistent. The show we saw was great fun and I liked the acoustics. I will certainly be back again.

It is such a great place to go to. It is an awesome theatre. The atmosphere is spectacular. We saw Chicago last night. It was one of the best performances I have ever seen (and I have seen many!!)

Lovely theater, with comfy subscriber lounge giving out champagne and iced tea. The production I saw, Chicago, was amazingly well done. I would not have thought this was community theater from the quality of the talent in every department.

"Chicago" today (June 28, 2018) Premiere at the opening of the 65th season:
This production is great! Anyone who knows the film and is close by should definitely get tickets. The performance tears everyone from their seat!
Absolutely fantastic!

The building is beautiful, the play we saw whas a high quality performance, and the shopping area nearby provides a nice stroll afterwards. I wish we could have seen another play the next time we were in town, but it was sold out. Next time I will try to book months ahead if necessary

I give the Naples Players 5 stars, even admitting that we've seen a few duds here at the Sugden Theater. The competence of the actors, direction, staging, the venue and above all the enthusiasm of everyone involved is a pleasure to behold. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

A great location, good theater, good actors/performers. A lively and much deserving local 'institution' of great and lasting records. A must-join, must-support artistic ensamble(s) that delivers great entertainment. An important little jewel to preserve and care for.

The theater has fallen on its face. The last 3 years we only made 1 full performance. Last nights 34 musical comedy was awful. The female lead you could not understand a word she said and her singing voice was atrocious. Asked the wife as we left early. She said she did not understand a word she said. Need for new leadership. Been going for 35 years. It has been downhill. The people of Naples deserve better. The Venice theater for the last 15 years is outstanding. Please someone fix this. Thanks

We went there last year and loved it and so booked tonight for the 6pm show of Sinatra and Friends. Lovely theatre and not a bad seat in the house.
We had to leave mid show - the talent was just soooo disappointing. We couldn't sit through it.

Excellent NAples downtown theatre. We have had season tickets for three years now and add more friends to our group every year. All of the plays have been of very high quality. Ticket prices are very reasonable. Students attend for $10.00. It is easy to exchange tickets too. We even sent our niece to acting school there for a year. We attend storytelling events there too. Highly highly recommended

Beautiful and minimal theater! Nothing too fancy or stylish but just enough to make sense in its location! Sound in the theater is wonderful and it's facilities backstage and in the lobby are full of amenities.

Sugden Community Theatre is on famous Naples Fifth Ave. Very centrally located. Just last week we saw a very well done play with out of town guests in their really comfortable main theatre. Everything about the evening was great. Quite reasonably priced. Lots of philanthropy in Naples makes places like this possible and affordable. At Christmas time the Sugden Plaza just in front is wonderfully decorated. Specials are available at Avenue5 restaurant next door for ticket holders. Highly Recommended.
