Good service helpful employees I just couldn't find what I was looking for even though they have it all the time also a worker who doesn't work in the drum department was there so I couldn't get help.

My favorite retail store for guitars, amps and accessories. Staff is very friendly and helpful, too. I've been a customer of Guitar Center for over 30 years. I especially lke the Brea location. Andrew is the man to see. Very helpful and can answer many of your guitar related questions.

I really liked the wide selection of guitars and stringed instruments. They live up to the "Guitar" in their business name. In our case, we went in for a ukulele for our son. We found a nice, mid-range version for a good price. Our son really enjoys playing it. Their sound proof, wood-lined room was also a nice touch if you want to try out the guitars. Happy buyer!

Their customer service is very good. However, their inventory is lower than usual. Probably due to Covid19.

I needed two of my electric guitars restrung today and called two other locations and none were able to provide basic customer service over the phone or completion by today because they had a couple guitars pending and we're possibly having a bad day. I called the Brea location at 11:30am spoke to Dan the guitar tech, and he said bring them down we will knock em out today. (He had 3 guitars to work on) I show up at 12:30 he restrung them completely in less than 30 mins. I was out of there by 1:00pm, He showed great customer service from the initial call to when the job was completed. Great job Dan for going above and beyond even on holiday weekends!

Bought a Yamaha piano. We were helped by Will Sievern and we were struck by how kind, patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional he was. He made our experience there memorable. Just great!

Everything is very organized and displayed. The workers are all extremely nice and ready to help you out.

They are always very helpful when we need band equipment and my husband Craig loves talking to Jimbo in drums about how to improve his gear and drum playing. My son loves guitar center also and treated him right.

I can not believe that within a few miles, from where I live, we have such a spectacular store devoted to guitars. When I worked for a local university I used this store to purchase professional audio equipment and accessories. Now, being retired, my interest is guitars. This place has it all. The store is very large and the selections are just as large as the store. I also get really good buying advice. They even sell used guitars at good prices. They also sell a lot of guitar and audio accessories.

Been coming here for close to 15 years. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I've never had a bad experience at this one.

"We dont have that in stock. Would you like to drive to orange to pick one up?" Smh...1 person working per dept if you're lucky. Looks like they dont even hire door people anymore. Long gone are the days when you would go to GC to hang out/learn something from the sales ppl. Online orders > this sad environment.

The workers where nice and helpful in buying a new guitar for my daughter. Wide selection.

Just came in to look at possibly buying a guitar. I was asked if I needed help, I declined. I was allowed to check out the guitars without being harassed or feeling pressure to buy something. Definitely love this place.

Went in for a new drum, they had a pretty decent selection with a wide price range. I'd definitely go back to purchase my next one

For guitar repair -- a special shout out to Dan, the luthier at Guitar Center Brea. He's done some tricky stuff for me -- rebinding a trashed out vintage Guild acoustic, replacing a bizarrely rigged bridge and nut on a semi-hollow I was rehabbing -- and his work is excellent. His setups are perfect for me. The first time I brought a guitar in, he was in the middle of a glue joint on a broken acoustic so I just stood and watched. It was so good, I literally let out a stoner sounding, "Whoa." Check him out. I swear you'll be pleased.

Good help in a timely matter although some sales are quite aggressive with "limited products and dates such products are available" with that not always being the case.

This guitar center is a gem.. Why it breaks me heart to see the wall of guitars missing the guitars.... The pandemic.... Smh.. I still give them 5 stars though. Out of love. I've been going here for 20 years

I loved visiting this location. I went it completely clueless, but the staff here was so helpful. They helped me find all the accessories I needed for a ukelele that I was going to surprise my husband with. They looked up the model to make sure I got the correct size case. Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me!

I stopped in the Brea store on the way home from work. The guitar selection was typical of other GC's that I've been to. My only complaint are the guitar locks - I understand why, but it's just a nuisance to me.

Terrible customer service. Not a single person came up to me and asked if I needed any help .... I was in the DJ section for 15 minutes and not a single person came in..

Excellent buying experience. Jimbo from the drum department is very cool, helpful and knowledgeable.

Always there to help. Sometimes you may have to wait for your turn to be helped but rest assured when you are helped the staff will be knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They will give you the time you need to be comfortable with your purchase.

I like this place. If it has anything to do with the music world, you're at the right place.
More than just name brands to choose from, accessories, literature of all types. Plenty of display models to try and super knowledge staff. (Fred rocks! (Literally))
But everyone is great

I was in here on 10/23/20 and I paid for a guitar that was from a different store got two year protection plan on it paid for shipping and all tha. I wake up the next day to check my emails to see you when it would be arriving and my order was canceled! Apparently they had the wrong pictures or title for the guitar I was trying to buy and that's why It got canceled, now that's fine and dandy except for the fact that I paid in cash but since it was online the guy got a gift card put the money on it and then used the gift card online, and then he proceeded to throw the gift card away. So when my order got canceled it went back onto the gift card that is now in the dump probably... Hopefully customer service can mend the issue, if not I'm going to have to go in there and grab a nice guitar off the wall and run out the door haha

I love going to Brea guitar center, been coming here for probably over 20 years, and my experience has always been positive. The staff is courteous, and are willing to help with any questions if needed. The staff also does not try and oversell when you do have questions, they will suggest what fits best for you and have honest opinions. They do a good job when it gets busy to try and get to you as quick as possible. Compared to other guitar centers, this one always has a more laid back and peaceful environment even when.super busy . I always buy something when shopping at brea guitar center.

Please don't buy anything from Guitar Center. I recently purchased a portable PA System for $992. It took 4 cancellations, several phone calls with customer service, three pending charges to my card, my money wasn't available for 5 days, several emails with manager, complain to BBB, and a trip to Guitar Center. I finally gave up returned the speaker and bought it straight from manufacture. I recommend to the same, also do a complain to Better Business Bureau.

The staff is super nice and are very helpful. They do seem to be a bit understaffed at times but they make up with great service. I bought my fender start there and my sister got here ukelele. We've never had a problem. I love the fact that I can plug in and play whatever guitar I want.

Guitar Center always has really nice musical equipment

Theres an associate there named chris and he is incredibly knowledgable, patien . And super kind! He doesnt rush or push you to buy guitars or anything, moreover he encourages you to explore different guitars and just try different products! He encouraged me to focus on quality over price because music seriously..I mean doesnt have a price to it. But save up for a nice guitar guys!
