Dirty, soiled, and abused. Last evening I attended a free ARC performance of Three Points of Contact. There were 12 actors on stage - all reading from their script books - and 7 average musicians.
Not one song or character was memorable, although I did have trouble getting to sleep, whilst trying to forget what I had witnessed.
The audience was assaulted with the proposition that monogamy and dedication to another living feeling sole was passe and outdated.
I am not a prude and certainly understand there are alternative life styles and definitions of love.
However, the writers are part of what I call the ME ONLY generation. By this I mean what is good only for me and to hell with anyone else.
I assume they have never lifted their faces out of their electronic screens long enough to realize there is another real world out there.
Forcing their "I only" views on the audience was an abomination.
They confuse Love with the animal act of sex. In actuality Love and Sex are complex neurochemical reactions in the limbic system of the brain.
I can only assume that too many hours of screen time and lack of interpersonal socialization has shrunken this part of their brains.
I hope they have parents willing to support them for many years, as their combined talent will fit nicely on the tip of a pin, or a similarly shaped body part.

Cozy theater to see excellent productions of plays. We saw Billy Elliot and Beauty and the Beast., both extremely well acted and produced. Because the theater isn't huge, no matter where you sit, you have an good view of the stage. We enjoyed both performances immensely.

First--FABULOUS shows. Then top it off with a great theatre where every seat has a great view and great sound. Large lobby with a nice concession stand. And, because the theatre isn't a monster in size, great parking. Go enjoy. Get a season subscription and go enjoy at a cheaper price.

The people who operate, teach at, and take care of, this facility for the performing arts are very pleasant and knowledgable, but the interest in a dance class for 5 year olds was lacking; very disappointing.

Went and saw Mamma Mia, and everything was wonderful. Not a bad seat in the whole place, and the actors were fantastic. Very pleased with my fist time going here. I plan to visit in the future for other productions.

This theatre always presents stellar productions, and the latest one, "Dracula," is outstanding. It's very clever, funny and contemporary. This is the world premiere and I predict this play will be done all around the country in the coming years. Congratulations on the consistently terrific work!

Went to see hair spray at the Maltz, and it was very enjoyable. Very friendly staff. I heard there will be a big restoration soon. The only downfall was if someone call is in front of you, it's hard to see the stage.

Their conservatory program provides a great experience for young performers. Actors Equity Association performances here reflect that and are great especially considering the market where it is located.

I have caught a few shows at the Maltz Theatre with my grandmother and each time was very happy that I had attended these events because of how well both the place and its shows are ran. The performers were lovely and made my daughter (whom at the time dreamed of being a dancer) a very excited little girl by signing her program for her to keep as a momento and giving her tips on how to get into the Arts which provided her with inspiration to keep at her goals. The theartre is a tight community of spectators & performers and my grandmother has made many friends fom attending shows since it opened years ago so my mother, aunts and myself always make sure to pre-purchase her tickets to all the shows for her gift each Christmas and she always brings one of her friends, daughters or myself depending on if we would like that specific show or not. Great lighting and sound as well.
