I have always loved their coffee, and this place holds so many fond memories. I actually stumbled in on my very first concert with my then best friend. I still come and love it just as much as I did the first time.

It's right across from the Outland, the coffee and food is just as good as it is creative (hellooooo Frozen Unicorn that isnt really coffee), and their tea selection is TO DIE FOR.

They constantly change out the art, and it's my favorite place to be.

3 stars for the food and friendly workers.. minus 2 for the lack of a place to sit!! How is it a paying customer has no where to sit, yet people sitting around with water cups and laptops have monopolized the whole seat situation!

We walked to Hurts donut company where we were able to find welcoming staff who allowed us to eat our lunch inside their establishment.

Totally purchased donuts for the kids.

There is always great coffee and a friendly face to greet you when you walk into Mudhouse. I love this establishment so much! It is hands-down my favorite coffee shop in town. No, scratch that. It's my favorite coffee shop ever. Seriously, no one makes an iced mocha as well as the folks here. And have you tried their cold brew? What're you doing? Get off your computer and go grab one!

Their coffee and tea selections for the home are also excellent, and they will even grind the beans you purchase at no additional cost. They also have a punch card for both espresso drinks and coffee beans, so if you're like me and visit every other day, you can get some free stuff!

If you haven't been, the Mudhouse is a must-visit in Springfield!

It is the best coffee shop in springfeild it has a great selection of coffee better than any Starbucks you can go too. It has a great atmosphere and is just a great place to go for a great relaxing cup of coffee.

I visit Mudhouse about once a month and I usually wind up trying something new each time. I especially like the Tiger Spice Chai! The space is cozy, the staff are friendly, and the prices are reasonable!

I liked this place a lot! My opinion of a coffee shop can be made or broken by how skilled they are at making nice, velvety foam for lattes and cappuccinos. The foam here (and the rest of the latte, too) was divine- and I ordered my drink with soy milk, which is more challenging to froth properly. They have some interesting flavors on the menu. I got a cardamom latte, but I also eyed the lavender latte. Aside from the coffee, the place has a nice vibe, with cool local art on the walls and a diverse clientele. Additionally, the bathrooms (and I assume the rest of the shop) are non-binary-gender friendly, which is something I always like to see.

The Mudhouse is a classic Springfield coffee experience. Whether you come for coffee, chai, or any of their fabulous blended drinks, you can expect excellent personal service and a high-quality beverage to boot. If you're feeling munchy, they have a modest selection of food and treats for any time of day or night. I highly recommend the Mudhouse for locals and visitors alike!

Mudhouse warmly welcomed me while I spent early mornings waiting on my husband to get out of a class at MSU. Their GF banana nut muffins are delicious, service is fast, and people are friendly. To me, the coffee tastes a bit burnt, but the coffee isn't why I go.

The granddaddy of downtown coffee spots. They have tasty sandwiches and a wonderful selection of drinks--hot, cold, thick, sweet or just a straight brewed coffee. I have been a faithful customer for years--even though I live on the east coast now and only occasionally return.

The wait was fine, the order exceptional, I went in and they were super busy, set my expectation and delivered. Hammered out orders very quickly. A must have experience for out of towners!

I think this place is great! And it's not well, you know....that place that has a store on every other block. (I'm not going to mention their name--enough people already have!
The Mudhouse drink menu is small but I haven't had one that I didn't like! If there is a down side, it's that the drink sizes are small and it's a bit price. I still recommend you give them a try!

I waited 45 minutes for my order. I know it was a busy day due to the parade, but 45 minutes is too long. When I asked about the last drink I was waiting on, a coffee with an espresso shot in. I was told the espresso drinks take longer!

Great customer service, staff are very polite and upbeat. Decent coffee. Food was good not great and expensive for what you get. I got a 16 oz Mocha Late and a Parmesan basil chicken salad wrap. Spent just under $15.

Always very friendly staff. Great coffee, and environment in the shop. I LOVE the Mocha Nut Frappuccino, it's to die for. I crave it all the time.
I love the decor. It has a hipster feel. Definitely worth making a trip here! Come check it out.

Love the coffee and the staff here. Delicious top of the line coffee, great teas, and a cozy atmosphere with a friendly kind staff makes this one of my favorite places to get coffee in all of Springfield. If you love coffee you owe it to by itself to stop in and try it out.

Fantastic. Veg-Friendly. Very, very good coffee, nice place to work (could use a few more power outlets, but I didn't get stranded). Fair prices. Good bagels (and from a Montrealer, that's a big compliment). Would see myself spend a lot of time there if I lived in Springfield.

I would have given five stars but one of the people working there i thought was very rude/ all it took was one comment he was calling the people that come in to make a purchase all (mouthbreathers) i thought that was very inappropriate/ i wont be going back

Super friendly staff. Interesting flavor combinations. My only complaint is that it's so busy every time I go there I can't stay there to drink my latte. But go them for being so awesome and staying busy.

What a fun place! We enjoyed the coffee, but the roast can be inconsistent. Always an interesting crowd of people, and a really fascinating mix of different types.

Don't forget to check out the wall with all the upcoming concerts and events.

Definitely fun, definitely our new favorite Coffeehouse. When we get to Springfield, it's Mud House or nothing!

Love their coffee, their atmosphere, their staff, and well... Everything about mudhouse.

I used to hang out every day drinking endless cups of coffee, hanging out, and doing homework. I even met my wife here!

LGBT friendly and they have gender neutral single occupant bathrooms too (see picture).

Nothing bad to say! Try their vegan cookies!

Mud House is my husband and I's favorite little spot to stop and get a coffee or tea. The selection of teas you can get iced or hot is spectacular, and I am in love with all the Rooibos offerings and the Apricot Black Tea. My only complaints have been that sometimes teas are not steeped for long enough, thus you end up with a cup of semi-flavored water, and sometimes the lattes don't carry much of an espresso flavor. This is usually remedied by telling the barista to steep the tea twice as long (assuming it's not a green tea and won't become too tannic) or adding an extra shot. The vibe is laid-back and homey, I enjoy looking at the walls of local advertisements to find new businesses to check out (today I found the cutest little gemstone jewelry Etsy shop). I've never ordered menu-item food from here, so I cannot attest to that, but the Mud Brownie was fudgy and perfect.

Edit: This morning we finally tried the food from Mudhouse for breakfast and were throughly impressed. We both got burritos, one Boom Boom and one Jojo and they were absolutely fantastic, especially for the price of below five dollars each. We would stop in here before heading through a drive-thru for breakfast any day.

Update: We've tried a few more items since my initial review and I absolutely love the orange and nutella scone, as well as the cinnamon roll that also has a hint of orange. There is always something new to try and that's possibly my favorite part about Mudhouse!

We stopped in after watching a nfl game at a nearby bar. We waiting for 10 minutes, placed our order and waiting for our drinks. The employee made the wrong drink and acted like it was my fault. She made a second, also wrong after a total of 20 minutes wait. I told her it was wrong again. We finally left with no drink and no refund. Honestly how hard is it to make one latte. I wanted to like this place but I wont be back. There is a reason I stop at Starbucks when I want a latte. The use their ears and dont blame the customer for their mistakes.
