I was served by Sim and Lauren and they were not good. I felt like a nuisance going out for a roast dinner, which was the only salvage. Rude managers and mistreated staff. I work I hospitality so I understand what goes on behind the scenes. Not coming back. Do not recommend.

I visited the millers pond this afternoon with some friends and family. Excellent service, particularly Tammy who went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Friendly and efficient service, highly recommended!

Very rude women. Abrupt and stroppy to us , a group of middle aged women sitting quietly and having a catch up! Basically told us she wished she hadnt opened the pub, it was too busy and wants to close again and doesn t want any customers!! - you are in charge so why not limit the bookings and control the numbers that can book? it s hard for all businesses reopening but there is no need for rudeness. Called specifically to ask what time food was available to get there and be told no food, again it became a hassle for her and an inconvenience that we questioned her. Won t be going back.

Nice staff and really have made an effort with the garden. Unfortunately we were there on a Saturday night when its full of younger people and a massive brawl broke out which made all the sensible people drink up and leave. Needs security at weekends.

Tables are being book up quickly right now and I can see why. Recently redone garden is lovely.

They have their own app that you order through, and use track and trace diligently.

Had a pizza and some pints recently that was great. Pizza was quite cheesy, and didn't skimp on toppings. Pints were a tad pricey, but given the year the pubs have had, worth it.

Me and two friends visited this pub recently we ordered two of the same drinks and only one came out we then asked the waitress for another and showed her the receipt, she returned with another drink. Fast forward to two days later we return to the pub (this pub has a lovely garden and lovely well mannered bar staff) we have had about 3/4 drinks between us at this point and the same mistake happens again as the app and receipt printer must have a fault. The older lady which we presume was the landlady brings out just the one drink, we explain it s meant to be 2 and she says no it s come through as a double so that s what you ve got. After rechecking the email, we call the bar girl over, who was lovely and very polite & she explained she would go and try to resolve the issue. She came back with another glass and said that she d been told by her manager that we had to split our double drink in to two cups. Obviously this was ridiculous as we had clearly paid for two drinks as shown on the email receipt, we politely ask to speak to the manager/bar lady. After 5 minutes, she comes out and explains we were right and the receipt had printed out wrong and we did actually order two singles.. but she d given us a double now & a glass of lemonade so she was not going to resolve the issue and we still had to split the one drink (we d of been happy to return the double drink she had wrongly made for the two singles). As we then stated again that this was not acceptable she stormed back in to the bar before we could finish our sentence and sent the bar girl out with the other drink we had paid for and she also told her to tell to us that we had to leave after we had finished our drinks.
We are all polite, well mannered girls and at no point during this whole situation were any of us rude so we were so confused as to why we were being asked to leave. When one of us went in to confront the landlady and ask why we were being told to leave because the app had come through wrong? She disappeared behind the bar and said she didn t want to argue. Seems like she just couldn t own up to the fact she was in the wrong. Shocking customer service. From the second we walked in on both occasions the woman seemed to have an attitude with us all. It s a shame, as we live close and all said that we would have definitely made this our regular. Luckily there s quite a few other nice pubs close by.
