I moved to the Mill Creek Garden property in Jersey City August of 2019. Since then I have had the worst experience with the on site staff Kim J.and Isent R.who are very unprofessional, they lack people skills, they advertised false amenties which we never saw.
After dealing with that and the ignorance of my neighbors, I had finally had enough and submitted my intent to vacate March 2021.
I would not recommend that place to anybody! I could go on and on however I choose to focus my energy toward positive and look forward to my new place.

3-year resident of The Rixey currently managed by The Michaels Organization. April, submitted intent to terminate lease early due to breach of contract by failing to deliver what was stated in a 12-month lease. The source of this dilemma began with Morgan Stokes but currently waiting on a response from Shawn Wilson who supposedly works in their corporate office. My expectations are low in reaching a more reasonable resolution and my suspicion is my review of the Rixey and possibly more were hidden with assistance from Morgan Stokes.

I've worked before with kinda bad Multifamily Apartment places but this one is something else.I had a phone interview at 5:30pm can you believe i received a phone call 3hours later from the HR department and then to top it of they offer a different pay rate from the one posted. Just giving a heads up to anyone applying to this organization

I love working for the Michaels Organization. They really care about employees, values, and the communities they build and manage.

I was discriminated based off of my race, sexual orientation-bisexual, hair (I wear African styles and faux dreads), disability/handicap/speech problem (I have a lisp). They have had previous lawsuits and also do not pay their vendors. Employees have mishandled money and stole from the organization. A tenant was discriminated against because she was Haitian black! They defamed my name and have told current tenants that I was unintelligent. I told the Regional that I may have had cancer and she let me go. I also informed her that I was depressed because of it and had panic attacks. Sandra Sch has made me borderline suicidal because of how she treated me.

They are very bad. Many resident companies that have many apartment complex nationwide give relief to waive admission or registration or reletting fee amid COVID19. But this property management company still collect relet fee: one monthly payment even though all amenities are close and they don t provide safety service at all.
