Superb vets with a really caring and friendly team.

Mr Noodles is back on the mend!! Our old moggie had a deep wound on his leg and at 17, had only been to the vet once. Upon taking him in the service was always reassuring and we had him in and out within a day following a successful anaesthetic. Despite being an extremely stressful experience for our baby, he was calmed and recovered perfectly back to his cheeky self. Very informative and helpful staff who managed all the operations wonderfully in these strange times of Covid!

The whole team have been great treating my rescue cat who has a number of long term health conditions. Always friendly, clear explanations of what is going on, what to expect and what the plan is. Very happy to have the Mewes as my vet practice and will continue to use them in the future. They even looked after me when I dislocated my elbow so I couldn't be happier. I'd like to say a big thanks to the team at the Mewes :D

My dog has been cared for by the Mews for ten years and I can honestly say if my child received the same quality of care and treatment in the NHS I would be delighted. The team are competent, professional, helpful, polite and kind. They all go the extra mile to be supportive. I can't fault this practice in any way.

I have used this vets since they very first opened, many many years ago. I would not go anywhere else to the point I have moved away but still travel back there just so they can treat my animals. They have treated my rats, ferrets & all my dogs, and I don't trust anyone else but them. Their staff and vets are second to none and could not be more helpful and professional. Their reputation is such that my company also use them to look after our working dogs. If you want honest, reliable and trustworthy vets accompanied by helpful friendly staff look no further than Mewes.

Great, friendly, professional service but (as with so many vets) expensive! The VIP Pet monthly plan is a great way to spread the cost of routine check ups, flea treatment, etc

Helpful, knowledgeable and caring staff make this practice a great choice for your pet's healthcare. Good facilities with a roomy waiting room, several treatment rooms including a quiet room for nervous pets and even a small car park.

My doggy (Dougal) loves going to Mewes, and Julia is great.

I have used the Mewes for the past 8 years for my 2 cats and dog. I highly recommend the practice. Having seen all the vets and nurses I could recommend them all. The thing I especially like about the practice is that you never feel that you are on a strict time restraint. The vets and particularly the veterinary nurses take lots of time to discuss any problems and offer lots of advice. Special mention for India and Laura who have given great advice for my cat suffering from renal problems. The practice also offer monthly plans to help spread the cost for vaccinations and flea/worm control over the course of the year, which I have found to be great for my dog, who goes in for free weight checks and nail trims under the plan too. A very friendly and convenient practice in Haywards Heath that I highly recommend.

Not only have they been there for my cat, the support they have all shown me has made a really difficult time more tolerable.

Over the years, The Mewes Vets has always been polite takes the time to explain any concerns about our pets to find a solution best for their well-being. They've been very compassionate when we've had to make a difficult decision about a previous pet of ours. I would, without hesitation, recommend this vet to all of my friends.

Another visit to the vet with our dog Fiver and again a 5 * service. The Receptionist was efficient, friendly and welcoming and Julia, our vet was lovely. She made Fiver feel completely at ease and everything was explained properly and clearly. We came away confident and clear as to what was happening and would not hesitate to recommend the practice to anyone else

The receptionist was delightful and most accommodating to my 2 lively and questioning children. The vet was excellent with my nervous car and he behaved impeccably as a result.

We have had a poorly cat treated over several months at Mews vets. The whole team has been very caring as we have had to contact them quite a lot. Julia Mews has provided an incredible service, listening to our concerns and be able to take account of our thoughts and ideas. Underlying her practice has been a strong feeling that our cat is at the centre of her concerns. We feel we have had a truly personalised service that we would thoroughly recommend.

I love this practice! With two dogs and four cats we make appointments quite a lot and all our animals are so well looked after. I was sorry to leave my vets in Brighton when I moved though I have to say that I like this practice even better. :)

Staff always friendly and helpful. Trips to the vets can sometimes be stressful and full of uncertainty for the pets, but our dog really loves visiting here.

Nice vets, pretty personal service. Can be a bit slow on the front desk, I have found myself sitting around a lot waiting for other customers to conclude business.

On 15th December last year our beloved Samson was so unwell we had to make a very difficult decision but the ladies at The Mews were so kind and knew just how to help us cope with losing him. The house was so empty and we missed him so much, we got two rescue cats in January 2015. They are long haired and had not been groomed properly, so were in a sorry state but The Mews checked them over and advised us on how to get them settled in to their new home with us. Nearly one year on, they are very happy and we love them so much. Thank you Julia & all at The Mews xx

Have been with The Mewes more or less since they started. I had two dogs one of which has sadly died. How kind and thoughtful everyone was at this time as for every pet owner this is the hardest but kindest thing we do for our pets. I felt they genuinely cared and were just so kind. Now we have just the one dog I always feel we receive the best of attention with everything explained very well. Options have always been given as we all know it can be an expensive time. They are very accommodation but still giving the best for your pet. All lovely people cant recommended them highly enough. Keep up the excellent work.

There's no other way to describe all of the staff at The Mewes other than exceptional! Being new pet owners we have had quite a few visits, including an operation to remove dew claws (one of which involved what was basically an extra paw!!!). Nothing short of outstanding. We are so pleased with the results and the skill involved not only to remove bone etc, but the way it looks now you would never know he had been operated on! First class vets that we will be life long customers of. Thank you.
