My experience with McIntyre was a positive one. Following my graduation in 2012, McIntyre placed me in my first job. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to understand my job search. They were responsive and always answered my phone calls and emails within 24 hours. I worked with Jason Berman from the IT division, and he partnered with me to identify a position that would further my career. He went out of his way to give me interview tips, improve my resume, and give me insight on the client.

I would recommend working with The McIntyre Group for both temporary and permanent opportunities.

I came into contact with McIntyre after a slew of interviews that never resulted in a full-time opportunity. A couple of weeks before graduating from college, I had my interview with McIntyre, during which I took some MS Office aptitude tests and discussed my career goals with my recruiter, Jules. We discussed which industry I see myself in long-term, and Jules and I agreed that I should spend the summer working on building my skills since I had minimal business experience and from there she would try to place me somewhere that I could end up full-time.

Since the day I started with McIntyre I have not gone more than 3 or 4 days without having some sort of position, and during those 3 or 4 days that I wasn't working I was preparing to begin somewhere new. I have not had to stress about finding work since I've graduated, which is something I am incredibly thankful for.

When I began at my current company, it was supposed to only be for a 2-week cover. During my training, a few people asked me how I was placed and when I said that I was working through McIntyre the responses were "good, we hire A LOT of our staff through that agency." Within the first week of my two-week assignment I was hired temp-to-perm and so far things have been working out how Jules promised me they would.

I have always been able to contact Jules or any of her assistants if I needed help or advice, and Jules has been supportive of events in my life that did not even involve my assignments. I have recommended McIntyre to all of my friends that do not have jobs yet or who are graduating soon, knowing that they will be in wonderful hands. I am very thankful for the opportunities they have given me and I definitely recommend McIntyre to anyone looking to pursue real opportunities with an agency that gives full support to its associates.

Collin Wade, staffing manager, was professional, a great communicator and got me a great, decent job in a week! That is better response time than the other staffing agencies in my own location of Virginia ( McIntyre is located in Connecticut). I would most definitely recommend them to my friends and family if they want quick results. Thanks a million!

I have been working on and off with Mcintyre for almost two years now. Melissa is absolutely incredible - and works so diligently to make me comfortable in placements. Rebecca is also extremely helpful and great to work with. I'm happy to say I can count on Mcintyre for every stage of my career!

HORRIBLE. ALL the so called "positive reviews" must have been written by their staff. They should not be in business since they don't give a damn about the people they are suppose to help. They are UNRELIABLE. If you call for follow-ups,they get mad, even if you call monthly!. The other reviewer Sara Houston is CORRECT about the overweight lazy woman there and her nasty RUDE attitude. You CANNOT TRUST them. You try being nice with them, they walk all over you. First they said my education was amazing, then they bad mouthed it. Like, huh? Guess they can't even stick to a story. They should be called Connecticut's "Leading Trash" because they don't care about helping people.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. It is a WASTE of TIME.

Definitely not the best agency around. Worked with a recruiter who, although very personable, was definitely no help in assisting me in finding employment. Although they post many jobs on job boards, it seems these positions are not all available (maybe it s just a ploy to get you in their database? Who knows!). If you want to find the best jobs work with the more reputable agencies that get the better jobs with the bigger, well known companies (ie Mary Bolger, etc).

I got a contract with a top accounting firm through this agency. The experience is still ongoing but I highly recommend The McIntyre Group if you are seeking an administrative support position. Emily Rocque is also outstanding in her role as an employment specialist/talent speaker. I hope to work with this agency more in the future!

They work digently to find work for you and also want you to be happy where you are placed.

Wouldn't ask for anything more. McIntyre approached me with quality jobs every time and went above and beyond. I was working with 4 other recruiters at the time and none of them were nearly as helpful.

I had an extremely positive experience with The McIntyre Group. I recently met Martha Spiegel by chance, and in conversation mentioned to her that I was looking for employment. It turns out that Martha is a Recruiting Manager at the McIntyre Group and told me very confidently that she would find me a job. I sent her my resume and immediately received a call back from her to set up a meeting at the office. I was welcomed in a friendly manner by the receptionist and taken in for my meeting with both Martha and Sarah Binderberger, Sr. Staffing Manager. In addition to being professional, encouraging and friendly, they gave me suggestions on how to improve my resume along with informative interview tips. Although I did not meet directly with Sonya Tkacs, I know she played a huge role in helping as well. To wrap this up, Martha was not kidding when she told me she would find me a job. I was working in what I would consider a dream job less than two days after my meeting at the McIntyre Group. I would highly recommend the McIntyre Group for your temporary or permanent employment needs.
