1. Leave your phone in the car.
2. Bring a camera(yes a real one but only on practice days)
3. Eat a pimento cheese sandwich & drink a beer. It's super cheap.
4. You'll need all that money you saved on food to use in the pro shop.
5.Bring a poncho/umbrella.
6.Wear comfortable shoes & sunscreen.
Welcome to Augusta y'all! Yes we do things a little slower down here. You won't be disappointed.

Augusta National Golf Club is home to a championship golf course that ranks with the world's very best. Of the lucky few who have played here, many would say IT IS the world's best. Only the Old Course, St Andrews and Pebble Beach can boast the "household name" status that is enjoyed by Augusta National.

Augusta National Golf Club is far and above the most beautiful course I've ever seen. They have the Masters down to a science. Moving from hole to hole was a breeze, and it never felt too crowded. We were always able to see the action. It rained the day prior to our visit and they had the in-ground vacuum running to remove the moisture. The result was good playing conditions and relatively dry feet while walking the course that morning. You really get the impression no expense was spared. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience at an amazing golf course.

Absolutely beautiful! This year was the first time...
Absolutely beautiful! This year was the first time my husband and I were fortunate enough to go and we're so glad we did. Very friendly and helpful staff, food and drink prices are very fair ($1.50 sandwiches, $4-$6 16oz soda/tea/beer, $2 fruit cup, nachos, etc) and the grounds are gorgeous. I recommend bringing your own Masters chairs if you have them. If not, they sell them for $30 a chair in the gift shop. Wear comfortable, broken in shoes as you will be doing a lot of walking, even if you have seats. If you miss out on the free parking, there are lots everywhere charging btwn $10-$40 for the day. Ours offered $6 shuttle service to the South entrance 1/2 mile away but we chose to walk. I wish they allowed cell phones/cameras but understand why they don't. If you have one on you at security checkpoint, they'll have you check it in with them and you're able to get it back once you leave. Apparel at the gift shop is pricey, but to be expected. I purchased a 2019 hat for $26 which I thought was priced on point. Bring an umbrella if there's a chance for rain. They do sell them for $45 if you need one. My ONLY complaint is someone stole our 2019 Masters cups that came with our drinks so don't set them down anywhere without having an eye on them. Ours were snatched within 30 seconds. Very disappointing but other than that, beautiful experience! Recommend going at least once in your life if you get the chance!

Simply amazing. It's incredible how pristine they keep the grounds. Especially with how much traffic they see at the masters. Attending this tournament was incredible. The only downside is the men's bathroom line is so much longer than the women's. It was manageable, though, and didn't hurt the experience.

If you get the chance, go! It is very good value, as prices are keep low, on admission, and food concessions. Souvenirs are more present day priced but for a difficult to attend event the souvenirs are sought after as lifetime treasures.
Be aware the course is on very hilly terrain and will test the fitness of the mature or out of shape patrons.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Washrooms are plentiful and very clean.
You may see lineups but they move fast.
The entire event is a marvel in how to handle large crowds very well.

Always enjoy experience..It's so well organized. Our daughter is a golfer, so it was nice to get to attend the ANWA championship .A well stocked pro shop, just wish there was a better selection of womens jewelry at a reasonable price.( maybe some year)Food is the best buy on the course.

A magical place. The course is perfect. The organization is perfect. They make improvements every year that make it even more perfect. Only complaints are I wish they hadn't built Berckmans Place. One of the appeals of the Masters was that it didn't have VIP areas (except for the members and guests at the Clubhouse). Also, I wish more of the merchandise for sale was made in the USA. Practically all of it is made out of the country. Food is good and you can't beat the prices. The Masters may be my favorite sports event of any.

What else can be said about Augusta? If you ever have the opportunity to experience this course you owe it to yourself to see the pinnacle of golf. Even a casual fan of the game will be impressed by the impeccably manicured grounds and the stunning views. If you are lucky enough to be here for the Masters, the atmosphere is simply impossible to describe. Be sure to make your way to the driving range to watch the best in the world in a more casual and relaxed setting, where they show their incredible skills. Also recommended, the Berckman Place experience - If you aren't familiar with this relatively new opportunity, do some research...and save your pennies; you will not be disappointed.
