Disappointed us. They closed 30 minutes after we paid good money to enter. If they had advised us they closed at 5 PM we would have declined to enter.

Amazing place with just enough to do. Breathtaking and the sand tiger sharks stole the show
This place has been good for a long time and still manages to keep evolving to become better. I've been taking my kids here for a decade and they still enjoy it. Small changes to the exhibits (and some bigger ones) keep it fresh.
I love love this aquarium my 8yr anf his friend had a great time. I too felt like a big kid all over again imax theater included in price which i loved. I would advise you book your tickets online because that line gets very long and also there needs to be stroller control it was more over crowded with strollers it was very hard to get around. Overral its a very nice place and we deffinetly enjoyed ourselves, Id visit again!
My kids had a blast there it was small but pack with lots of fun.
Nice experience! In the beginning I was disappointed because of price. You can't buy just enterens ticket - you need to buy combo ))) with IMAX theater. But in the end of our visit everybody was happy. Beautiful and well maintained exbitions. IMAX theater is amazing too. And play room for a little ones.
Wish they had penguin again, my daughter would enjoy it.
Great aquarium. I enjoyed all the galleries and themes. I will continue to come here in different seasons to see what they have in store. This December '17 they had Santa swimming with the sharks and it was so cool! I can't believe that Santa had time to swim with the sharks and still make all his deliveries on Christmas Eve!!! Thank you Maritime of Norwalk I will be back. PS thanks for having cheap parking rates in your parking garage!!
Amazing $35 a ticket for adults but well worth it .. you get to touch jelly fish and sting Ray's ..
This is fun for kids and there were so many little kids there and the people there are nice Loved it
The place is amazing. Would definitely recommend bringing kids here. Just wish they had rental strollers
A pretty good value for the price of admission. There is much more than marine animals which keeps the displays interesting. The staff is friendly and patient and there are activities and attractions for all ages.
This is my favorite aquarium in Connecticut. It's large, beautiful, and had lots of great animals. My son loved the sharks and the touch tank with the huge sting rays and sharks. It's also in a great area to walk around.
Fun for toddlers, price is little expensive compared to other musueam and aquarium. Exhibits are much more now than my previous visit couple of years before. Butterfly garden is amazing
Great place for the family! The girls really enjoyed themselves! Loved touching the stingrays...good learning experience!
Great for children and everyone! I live that they have a part where you can pet the manta Ray's and sharks. So cool! And the jellyfish are awesome!
I was visiting from LI, NY and was really impressed with this place. The variety in animals and the amount of educational and informative activities available for people of all ages was great. I love seeing places educate adults and especially children on how to be better ambassadors of this planet.
Good times. The giant tortoises are awesome. And I loved the jellyfish exhibit.
Great family friendly place. Perfect for kids and Mom and Dad have fun too.
Hands down better than mystic Any day and much more affordable
Clean space to explore, with activities like petting sting rays.
Very clean. Lots to see. Very spacious. Some highlights were the jellies, sharks, and giant octopus. Cafe was delicious. Great play area for 5 and under children even for crawlers. It is a bit pricey but my husband is in the military and my children are under 3 so it was a steal for paying for just 1 adult. Highly recommend!
Lots for the kiddies! Avoid food court. Yuck. Amazing variety of aquatic life. Jellyfish nuts.
This was such a great experience! My younger brother and cousin loved it, very entertaining and very clean. The food was also very good and the staff was extremely helpful.
First time there and my 2 year old granddaughter was so excited to show me EVERYTHING!! A fun family place.
Absolute blast with my brothers and cousin. Would love this place to expand, but nevertheless very enjoyable.
Went here cuz my little man wanted to see some jellyfish brought him here and it was perfect they had all types of jellyfishes from the smallest to the big ones some you can touch.. the experience was a good one also have sharks big tortoise and seals the movie was also good thou we didn't go to watch a movie loll overall a good experience
Always go and never get tired of seen all the animals!! Great programs!
Had such a good time with our infant! Plenty of space for kids to walk around and explore.
Went to the huge cinema to watch "Heroes Dogs"! Awesome screen, great sound. The staff was nice and friendly
Everything in the area is expensive. Parking, admission, cafe and gift shop.
But, the actual aquarium is amazing, always a great time with the kids.
Eat before you go, and check out the touch tanks!
CAUTION: The aquarium exhibition itself is good, although lots of construction going on. They re doing a good job of keeping numbers safe and the walk-through experience relatively safe. However, this is where I caution everyone. Today, I visited and went to the cafeteria to get my kid an ice cream. I saw the Chef take off his mask and have a long conversation with the lady on the cash register (she had her mask on) and he was surrounded by exposed hot food....pizza, especially. COVID is passed via airborne droplets and he was within a foot of exposed pizza that had not protective cover on it. He was talking all over the pizza. Not wearing a mask around food was shocking to watch for a business that is trying to take so many good measures. I was totally grossed out and urge anyone to be carful eating here.
My son and niece always have a good time when we go. Its clean, organized and the staff is friendly.
My favorite place to take my grandchildren for exploring indoor science exploration and fun.
Great hands-on/interactive exhibits for kids. Fun atmosphere!
Nice day trip, not packed on the weekdays. Lots to see.
Toddler play area upstairs was exactly what my kid needed when it's cold outside.
It was a cool place to spend the day. Lots of things to see and interact with
Super fun place for kids and adults has many different areas to travel through having different places for different animals theres even an areas where you are able to touch the animals but the place also has an space where you can have your babies play in an child safe play room
It was ok. My wife and I left feeling dissatisfied. We thought the new, "design your own sea creature" digital game was a nice touch. We drove from Yonkers, N.Y., stayed until closing, and was hoping for a more memorable experience. My 8 year had a blast, so I guess that's the target audience.
I have not been here since i was a kid very nice to come back had fun with my 8 yeat old son and my husband we will be back after our son is born
For a small aquarium, there is plenty to do and see.
I love the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. It is the perfect size, there is plenty to do and they do their best to keep updating the place. Staff is helpful, and courteous. The place is clean and it has some nice open spaces for kids to run about. The big tank with the sharks is a beautiful spot, I miss the jellyfish tank though.
Me and my kids loved it!! It was a great experience and if you have time definitely see the Panda movie!!
The place is a little pricey but it's very entertaining. It is clean and the workers were all very helpful and knew there stuff. The large tanks are beautiful.
Great! beautiful exhibits, relax spaces was. Fun 2hrs.
Pricey for an aquarium on the small side. Stingray and shark petting station fun for kids. Gets crowded on the weekends with lots of screaming children.
This is a great place to take the family. It is small but there is enough varoety of interesting ehibits. The IMax presentations really add a lot to this place. Too bad they do not have discount coupons for larger families.
Brought my 4 mo daughter and 6 yo niece and had a fun time. Loved touching the jellyfish and stingrays. Great aquarium that's not too big or crowded.
They always have very listing for the children to be entertained
It's cute, but small and pricey. Thankfully children under 3 don't have to pay admission and truthfully, for the size, I think only kids 3 and under truly enjoy this.
Kids love this place. It has just enough to keep them entertained for a couple of hours. For adults, we could use more stimulation and awe, but that's not the point. The staff is mostly great. Some events are really fun. Membership is pretty reasonable (and tax deductible). Gift shop can be expensive but it's for a worthy cause. I recommend visiting on off peak hours because it's hard to do anything when it's crowded here. Overall I like it a lot. Not perfect but worth it.
Great Aqaurium- much bigger than expected and it was an added bonus of having a IMAX movie included in the ticket price. Well worth a visit.
Excellent experience. We spent about 3 hours with our 6 month old here not taking our time but not rushing. You could spend more or less. The price was reasonable and their animal exhibits were fantastic. There were staff everywhere and all were friendly and helpful. More than an aquarium, there were exhibits about land animals, different habitats and seasons. We will definitely be back and are considering a family membership. We drove about an hour and a half with some traffic. Worth it.
Best place to spend a few hours with family no matter the day, no matter the weather, no matter how old you are. We love it here.
Getting to the Aquarium was quite easy and so was the parking. The reception desk was friendly and helpful. The exhibits were interesting enough, my granddaughter enjoyed the seal feeding the most and the play area on the second floor. Everything was fairly easy to find and didn't mind that it wasn't busy like Mystic Aquarium. There are a few points of discontent with this venue. First, the Cafe was quite expensive, so not family friendly. The interactive underwater paint your own fish was not working despite severtal attempts. There are four screens but only 2 were working and the children that were on them played endlessly and so my granddaughter never got a chance to see her fish or turtle and neither did my husband. Thirdly, the water in some of the bathrooms were ice cold! How are we supposed to get clean if there is no hot water? Overall, we did enjoy the Aquarium.
Nicely run during the pandemic. Kids can easily view all exhibits.
Every habitat seems ludicrously too small for the creatures trapped within.
Very cool exhibits and the animals are very well taken care of. The staff is knowledgeable and the animals are awesome. Not to mention the IMAX theater where the nature documentaries are very good and immersive. Spent a day here just walking around and looking at all of the awesome exhibits. Can't wait to be able to go back!
Unfortunately when we went, there wasn't much to see. It was 3 hrs before closing and we still had to pay the full fee. We toured the entire aquarium in less than 90 minutes...and that included the seal show. Our 2 yr old toddler was not impressed.
