Smooth check in. Front office and concierge were friendly and welcoming. Booked a mystery room and was surprised to get one at 28th floor. Room and carpet was clean, shower and bath tub was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed myself. Thanks Mandarin Orchard.
Check-in was fast and staff were friendly. Our booked room was still getting cleaned despite us checking in at 3+ when the listed check-in time was 2 pm. Got offered a free upgrade of rooms which does not come with a bathtub.
Room did not smell pleasant, furniture and set up were old. Sink and other stuff were of age too as they were stained.
Swimming pool was barely a pool. Just a very small space with a shallow pool - more for kids to play. Feels like they had that small area just so they could have it featured as them having a pool.
Dining credits of 80 at Chatterbox was disappointing. You could essentially only order two main dishes and no drinks because of the added taxes. Food wasn't great either. Breakfast was worse. Coffee and tea tasted like water, scrambled eggs tasted like they have gone bad.
Will not go back again. Price of rooms were not justified - felt deceived by the amount of good reviews and their good reputation.
Stayed here while apartment was being repaired for water leeks.very nice comfortable rooms.the hotel is undergoing renevion so update is looking good since last time I stayed here.

We booked the place for a short staycation and were glad the hotel fulfilled our requests (smoke free, high floor, etc).... we stayed in the main building on higher floor, overseeing the main road and facing Takashimaya ... the room was well laid and spacious and we got that at a 50% promotion; reckon a good deal. The room and amenities were good with usages of the pool and gym... several types of TWG tea bags and coffee sachets as complimentary, good grade of toiletries, luxurious layout of the bed and spacious toilet... simply a spick and span environment... air conditioning was great during this warm period... functioned like a freezer even set at 28 degree (condensation was high and hardly able to appreciate the night scenic, which was a little disappointment though).. We throughly enjoyed staying there too because it was quite centralised with all the shopping malls facing it... breakfast was simplified during this pandemic but you still get a good choice of nasi lemak, a western styled breakfast, wonton noodle set and a congee set breakfast choice.. not forgetting the juices, fruits and simple croissant spreads that goes with the menu... great place to spend and relax...
First, thank you for the wonderful hospitality. From the check-in to the waiters and custodians. Everyone gave great service. I was a bit worried about staycationing being more expensive than what it was worth, but I was wrong. I wanted to support our local economy and also do something with the family. The Mandarin Orchard offered a buffet promotion and competitive room rate. We arrived at 12 noon, stuffed ourselves, and rolled up to our room. We took a nap and woke to enjoy Orchard Road at night; strolling and taking our time. We all slept in and then watched Sunday sports in our comfy bed. Excellent weekend, thank you!
The room is so spacious..location so good.. walk down to restaurants and malls.. loving it!
Had a work meeting and work from hotel, where we were housed at the suite. Overall the room was decent and the internet facilities were good. Whilst the room seems a bit dated and the decor looks tired, it is an overall comfortable and spacious place to work and rest. The suite room comprised of a meeting area and the bedroom, unfortunately there wasn't an opportunity to try the bed since this was for work.
Triple 3 morning breakfast, the lady really serve well, ask if you are satisfied, unlike chatterbox the ordering lady a bit rude... good staycation experience... will consider another trip.
A hotel with great location in between Somerset and Orchard. It is also connected to Mandarin Orchard Gallery. Staff at the concierge desk are also very helpful. Service by the staff are good.
I booked a staycation here with my hubby and stayed here on level 34 of the main tower from 23-24 Mar 2021. The room is a Superior Deluxe Room. I mentioned in my booking that we were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and it was nice that the hotel prepared us a chocolate cake with the words "Happy Anniversary". This was a really nice gesture.
As for the room, it was clean, spacious and well maintained. The hotel was kind to extend our check out time by 1.5 hours upon request so we didn't have to rush. The hotel was not crowded as we stayed here on a weekday.
