If you find yourself in the ecopark area, visit this place. Good live music, good ambiance overall.
This was a really cool bar, lots of areas to lounge around in and they have karaoke.
Go for the happy hour and head right up stairs to the roof patio. The food is eclectic, but quite good.
Really friendly, laid back staff! Fantastic bar food! I also really like the stage set up and the upstairs patio. This is probably the least pretentious place in Echo Park.
I'll miss Barragan's forever, but its nice having some British pub food for a change. Rhea thought the food was kind of bland, but I liked it.
The owner is a nice cat too,and probably had to deal with a crapload of city codes and regulations to open this up.
Great selection on tap.
Awesome space!!! 3 floors or tiers of space. Love it! Happy hour, live music and a nice outdoor patio. This place is great!
Awesome local spot with live music on weekends. Sundays there is happy hour, $5 well drinks and select beers on tap. Also discounted food. I suggest the mojitos and burgers here. Nice outdoor patio on the third level. They always play the major games here as well
Huge bar with different areas and an upstairs with a fantastic back patio.
Parking is street and nearby a lot of cool shops, bars, and venues in Echo Park.
Good drink selection, rooftop bar and indoor seating.
Attended a baby shower here. Reserving the upstairs for a private event or party! Also, the different chips/fries are so good.
solid addition to the neighborhood. Great fish and chips and Craftsman on tap. Win.
Decent dive bar with a small selection of alcohol. Beer on tap could be better. They have three floors last one is a deck which is cool. They even have heat lamps out there. Super chill place with live music (has a stage).
Nice bar with cool decor. It has a dive bar kind of feel even though it's not.
Not very fun. Lame to say the least and the theme is very odd... Now im pissed because i booked a party, here and They closed.. No warning nothing.. Luckly the staff will stay around to help for me which is nice
This English Pub-like concept comes into view where the once familial Barrages used to stand. Completely redones, the vestiges of the beloved Mexican eatery could still be seen. At the time of my visit their drink menu had not been established. Traditional pub food is offered though at a hefty price. A fish and chips entree will set you back a pretty $17.
It's a very average pub in the area. There is a lot of seating and sports screen area for those who want to see key events on projector and HD glory. I love beers and I didn't particularly like what they had on tap other than the Kilkenny, and they had little whiskey and rum selections. Although the place is big the sound is terrible, if you want to have a catchup with friends go somewhere else.
Food is great, good beers and huge space. Cocktails only ok. The upstairs is where it's really at.
Nice, big and open. Cool patio, drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. Fish and chips = SO GOOD
A fair place with a lot of potential. They need to engage the locals, which are diverse and interesting - try different ideas with the drink, the food and the special events. The dodger thing is fine, but only gets you so far. But here's one thing they absolutely gotta change: START POURING FULL SIZED PINTS. Me and my buddy are easy going but we're pubbers, so the undersized pints kinda bummed us out. Let's face it, The Lost Knight is up against the lounge at the venerable and mighty Taix which has been around for a long time. But with some creativity befitting the neighborhood, there's hope.
Great fun place! Good food and good drinks. Staff are pretty awesome too. I've brought friends from out of town who didn't quite know what they wanted and the bartender was really helpful and friendly. The live music is always good there too! Just choose wisely what night you go if you're looking to have a hang out and a chat with friends as the live music really fills the place! Highly recommend!
Cool spot. Multi levels. Live music and friendly staff.
Loved this place! I'm from San Diego and was looking to grab a drink before a baseball game and this place had good food, great atmosphere and I would definitely go back! My one complaint was that they didn't have sufficient staff to serve the clientele in a timely manner so be prepared and arrive early.
Multiple stories where the mood and music changes. Great historic place in silverlake
Great food! Great drink specials! Great atmosphere!!
Damn fine establishment with a wide selection of live music flowing over their stage. Been there several times. Prices are LA average for beer ($8) and cocktails...not sure...didn't order any. Friendly staff. Have yet to try the food.
Huge space with a great beer selection. Came on a Saturday evening and while the place was crowded there was still room to move. The perfect place for groups. Outdoor drinking is upstairs and live music is downstairs.
They have a great Happy Hour. Can't beat the drink prices and half off of snacks. I love any place that has a good cider on tap.
The menu has a plethora of gluten-free items, which are very clearly labeled. It's one of the best gluten free menus that I have seen. The chips are the main focus of the snacks menu and are my favorite part. I am sad to say that the chicken tikka masala chips are probably my least favorite. The chicken was overcooked, but not cooked long enough so it was shredable...so basically it was just rubbery bites of chicken breast. I also feel like the tikka masala itself could have used a bit more flavor. It was overall pretty bland. The hot wings are pretty good, as well.
Lost Knight has their own parking lot across the street, which is good because we all know how parking is around that neighborhood.
My ONE complaint is about the bar stools. I feel like there needs to be a foot bar at the base of the bar because the stools are built in and are kind of far away from the actual bar, which makes it awkward and hard to sit. A foot bar would help greatly!!
Overall a good experience. I will be back for more Happy Hour.
Great rotating drink selection and cool bartenders (when they're not slammed). The food isn't cheap but it's well made. They have a bunch of fries (chips) with different sauces and toppings. The upstairs patio is really nice in the afternoon. Pool is also available in the upstairs lounge and they frequently have live music or trivia. My only complaint is it's very dark and often too loud to have a conversation.
It is a restaurant bar and on weekends there is much live.
Very easy to get lost in here at knight. lol. get it? Well whatever, ate here, fish and chips are good, nice alcohol selection too. Kind of reminds of going to some sort of themed disney restaurant. Seems kind of out of place for echo park.
Cool bar, If you are a band playing there. bring your own drums no matter what. house kit is horrible. Old drum heads, no cymbal washers. Unacceptable. sound man was 2 hours late. He did do a good job on sound. Staff was great.
It's alright if you need to but I'd keep driving...
Lovely spot near downtown LA on Sunset. Great craft beer list and super authentic British menu. I highly recommend the sausage rolls with their Coleman's mustard.
Great pub, with some LA flare, as well as the usual British fare, such as darts. We found it after a stroll around Echo Park, so easy walking distance from there. They have a full service bar and multiple levels, including a rooftop. Open mics are regularly held in the evenings.
Good drinks, good food, good prices. With 2 bar levels and a patio there's lots of good spaces for groups. Staff is especially nice. Bartender got my friend's change mixed up with another patron who paid cash at the same time- not only did he straighten it up right away, he came over to our table to apologize if he'd offended during the mixup and make sure we were all doing alright. Clean restrooms
Says it's an irish bar but doesn't even serve guinness. Shame on them fake as it gets.
Balcony seating, bar on multiple floors, karaoke, all good
Great place, lots to do, nice outdoor area, screens to watch, darts, great food!
Tardis pub that's much bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside. Large variety of seating from private booths, cavern like pub, to small open rooftop patio. Good food and drink selection. Order at the bar then find your own seating. Recommend the fish and chips - from a homesick Brit.
Did an open mic set here, great place with great beer! You can also watch some sports on a big screen.
Awesome atmosphere. Second story bar room across and romantic lighting make this a perfect date or hangout spot.
Vibe, mostly. Drinks a little pricy ($8 beers), Tursday's open mic only lets you perform 1 song now, and you may have to endure 5 hours of unfortunate music, but there are several nice seating areas with a range of noise and seclusion, and a good selection on tap.
Terrific bar with great drink selection, fun events, and excellent ambiance
Pretty crowded but never too loud. Has an indoor downstairs and upstairs as well as a upstairs patio (excellent on a nice night).
This place is great when you make a stop in the echo park area. No cover, and sometimes they have good music playing. I was even surprised they had some dancing. The downstairs and upstairs bar are stocked. They patio is the best and my favorite part of the bar upstairs. Will always recommend this spot.
Guys, someone needs to clearly label the fish and chips with "SERVES TWO" because it is the most gigantic piece of fish you've ever seen. They basically deep fry a baby whale and serve it over a mountain of chips. So because we didn't know this was the case, we also ordered the sausage roll which is also ginormous. The chips are all great, the side of curry with the fish and chips was outstanding. (I think some curry cheese fries need to grace the menu soon, just sayin) The sausage roll itself was a let down as the crust was overcooked and almost burnt, sad. Cool atmosphere, would love to come back for English breakfast, but totally dead on a Thursday night around 8pm... so... good luck Lost Knight. Hope you stick around...
I came on a Friday night and it wasn't very busy. Big venue with two levels, a stage for live music downstairs and large beer garden upstairs. It bills itself as an English pub, it must be based purely on the menu as the decor is not remotely close. I found the prices to be pretty high and the bar girl indifferent. On a warm summer night I imagine this place could be great, for me it just felt meh.
Was overcharged by bartender by $12 I noted the error and he changed it but my receipt still showed drinks I didn't order!
Not a great place to pay by card.
People come for beer and music. But what people overlook... English fare. Definitely should be a foodie's destination. Of course, I'd recommend the classic fish n chips... or some asparagus soldiers. This place is huge and has a nook for everyone. Downstairs is half restaurant half pub (with a stage). DARTS! Such few places have real darts and a huge plus to me is that they do! The Lost Room is a hidden gem right next door with a rad bar, DISCO BALL, and a sick new sound set up.... beautiful vibrations. Upstairs is The Otheroom bar (different tap then downstairs! whoop!) and large cozy lounge + romantic patio - bistro lights, exposed brick, bougainvillea, pallet board awning. Upstairs is definitely my favorite hang out. MUST VISIT.
Pretty cool, went for open mic night, a few Tuesdays. The Open Mic is a bit of a marathon, but a lot of good talent.
The Honey Siracha fries are extremely delicious!
