We used to go here all the time, and then the menu changed a few months ago and so did the quality of the food. Great place to enjoy a drink but won't be eating here for dinner again anytime soon unfortunately. Service from the restaurant staff is fantastic - shame about some of the staff behind the bar.

I have checked LH on google the place was closing at 12am, We had dinner at Hunters Hill and decided to go to LH at around 10:05 pm, drove 30 minutes with some friends just to hear the bar tender refusing to service us beers at 10:40 pm saying the bar is closed. That was very upsetting and I highly recommend to change your Opening hours.

Actually really like this place. Beers a little $$$ but place is nice and seems to have area for all people from poker tables to local pub to family dinning. Outdoor area would be a nice summer hangout. People were friendly.

It s definitely one of the best pubs around (although it has a lot more competition than it used to). The setting is great and I ve been pretty impressed with the food. All in all if you re close to Lane Cove, I highly recommend you stop in for visit.

One negative: I m not a big fan of the quiz. It s extremely long and by the end you just want to get out if there!

Real quaint place. Stopped in for a pint with friends. The outdoor patio offered lots of seating, but it was too hot to be outside. The inside was air conditioned and refreshing. The bartender was pleasant and helpful and service was quick. Food was also available along with a large selection of beverages on tap.

Pathetic! Food was great, however the services and after services was dismal. French manager with the beard was completely unable to cater and made our enjoyable night at first, utterly ridiculous! This will be dealt with, by the ombudsman or whoever deals with this sort of thing. Terrible, no wonder the Alcott just slightly down the road has complete decimated their business. Filthy service!!!

Went there for dinner and left without eating. No atmosphere. Looks like a Penrith sizzler
Now I know why the locals call it the gateway to the western suburbs..
Went to the Allcott instead. Was crowded but more charm ..

Had dinner here the other day. My sister and I had poke bowls. I had the salmon one and she had the sweet potato one. Well presented and was absolutely delicious. Fresh and a good serve size for the price. The pub has several different areas. Menu has a good variety, including 'pub classics'. Typical pub noise/atmosphere. A local staple that has been very popular over the years.

Appalling service. The lady that hosts the restaurant section of this otherwise pleasant hotel made us feel very awkward after she misheard our order, and then made a point of charging us for the extra side dish we didn't order. We gently requested that this be taken off our bill to a different waiter, which resulted in a passive aggressive and uncomfortable confrontation of sorts with the host which she directed at my mother. All this over a $7.50 side dish. We won't be back anytime soon.

Beers are decent price compared to everywhere else in the area, the food hits the spot. The vegan option was fantastic, its a really nice pub for a 30+ crowd id say. Chilled atmosphere, mainly locals.check it out.

The food there is good, but a little pricey. The vibe in the beer garden is quite relaxed if you manage to snag a seat. Enjoyable place for a quick bite and a couple of beers, but not the kind of venue where you would stay for more than an hour or two.

On a hot day was greatly disappointed to be told I couldn't get a nip with lemonade in a Schooner glass. Seems like they just want to get more money out of you. Also also annoyed that although food menus are especially placed by the front bar, so I line up there, only to be told I have to go to a different room to order food. A nice venue spoiled for this first timer

The Longueville looks good but that is where anything good ends. Unfortunately the food is Severely overpriced for what you get I do not recomend this place, for meal a of a burger and chips $23 the burger was nothing special quite average and the chip serving was so small you would have thought there was a potato shortage.... realy disappointed. Dont bother going to this place if you are hungry because you will eat and have to go past McDonalds afterwards , and

Hosted my daughter s Christening lunch at the hotel with a group of 20 - service and food was great; I definitely recommend. Portion sizes were massive and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Will come again!

Great pub. Food is a little expensive but they do advertise as a ritzier venue in a high traffic suburb, and you definitely get what you pay for. Servings could be a little more sizeable but for the most part are top notch. Could have a wider selection on the tap but the staples are there. Tap schooners anywhere from $7-10 depending on what you want. Trivia nights on Tuesdays are good fun but if you're on the younger side you won't stand a chance. It's got good seating and upkeep is top notch.

Pub classics are solid, especially the schnitzel.
Small but interesting range of craft beers.

Changing my review. Food is poor now. Used to be good. Asked for scotch fillet medium rare and got rump steak well done. Calamari was undercooked and oily. Spaghetti prawns ok but asked for fresh chillies and got some dried stuff. Freaken joke

Sad experience when it comes to service. Except for the people at the bar! Although a great place and atmosphere. I hope they realize they are dealing with people and be more receptive next times.

I love the Longy. It's a great spot for lunch or for an after work get-together. Really good food for a pub, decent beer selection, and a nice atmosphere inside. If you're going with a larger group, they'll book a long table near the fireplace for you. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the hassle of getting around and parking in Lane Cove.

We won t say that the duckling has become a swan, but such a phrase would give some sense of the transformation this place has been through over the last year or so. It has such an inviting feel to it and the outside area is wonderful. The use of grey and pink tones really lifts it all and there are some great other touches too like the fire pit and outside bar design.
