Don't bother food is dry and portions are not as they should be

Very disappointed. Great service but just didn't taste very nice

Very dissapoited really small portions and was more chips in the medium than large used to be really good chip shop but seems to have gone down hill such a shame

I've been going to the London Fryer for years,and always have great fish and chips.

Nice food but wouldn't go again as too noisy to eat in.

Had the Kingsize Catfish special which included a drink - the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, chips were really fresh and tasty!
Good selection of beers and wines - booking is a must!

Good value if you have the Catch of the Day which changes frequently. Gets very busy. Can reserve a table. Wide choice on menu besides fish and chips. Staff friendly and efficient. Could do with better extractors and air conditioning. Gets very hot and stuffy.

Food was excellent, service was very good. A star off excellent as slight issue with food temperature.

Just had sit down Fish and chips with the family. Good service and lovely Fish and chips, the chips are lovely don't know what potatoes they use but are the best.

Was very disappointed on food fish was not to my liking had funny taste, if not been funny I would say it was Whiting fish but like I say that's what I think as I do know alot of fish shops do use if run out of cod or cheaper opinion but this only my view on the day have been here many other time and got to say lush.

Lovely fish and chips. Even better if you sit in and go for the catch of the day special.

Been going here for years. As we are some distance away we tend to use it when we are in that direction.

Best chippy in Paignton and probably one of the top 2 or 3 in the bay.

Very cozy little place, family owned. Food is excellent, warm atmosphere and just perfect to have a pleasant brake from kitchen without compromising on homemade food quality. Just perfect.

I use this chip shop regularly but they have completely gone down hill. Just paid 6 pound something for cod and chips and there was barely anything in there. Not worth the money. My son's kids box literally had half a handful of chips. I'm very disappointed as there food is lovely. But won't be going back as there is no value for money anymore

Very good proper chips and nice big nicely cooked Cod

Quite the best table service we've had in ages. Nothing too was too much trouble for the waitress, even offered to top our tea pot up with hot water if we wanted more cups of tea. Spotless clean toilets along with perfectly cooked chips and large Cod. Less than 18 quid for two people to eat in with drinks. Bargain!

Always excellent. Fantastic staff and we have never once had a bad meal. Restaurant sometimes needs to be booked as so popular

Headlines: brilliant fish and chips, always busy with locals, option to eat in and listen to 80s tunes, grilled fish, salads, burgers, beer & wine available. Just a great family business that's been here for years.

Very nice, had chips and battered sausage and ate along the beach.

Excellent fish and chip shop for takeaway or eat in. Can particularly recommend the 3 fish medley which is cooked in anyway you want. Bargain

Service was quick , but chips not cooked to how I like them

Didappointed tonight. Usually our favourite chip shop. Chips were very dry and had to send them back. Second plate was fresher but the chips were still very dry. Maybe quality of the potatoes. Who knows. Just very disappointing

The best yet. Sometimes mushy peas a bit old and too sweet .everything else excellent.

Lovely fish and chips and great service from the lovely young lady and friendly and helpful cook. The only downside - the floor in the dining area could do with a good clean to remove the grease.

A well deserved 5 stars. Found this place last year 2017 whilst on holiday in goodrington sands. Seems a favourite with the locals.

Delicious fish and chips. Curry sauce and fish cakes are also amazing!
