Always had a pleasant experience here! Staff are friendly, food comes out quickly enough and coffee is tasty (apparently the chai - real loose leaf stuff) is also very good! All the menu items I ve had here have been fresh and yummy. Yes it is on the expensive side of things, but nothing unusual for a cafe of this style, and it is much less pretentious than some others like it - still has the warm, homely vibe!

I live in Brighton and this is my local place to go. Not many good brunches in Brighton I have to say although I love the area very much. The little ox has great coffee made perfectly, and their food portion is very decent as well. Everything is freshly made including my fav orange juice. Somehow their freshly squeezed juice is so good that I always order one whenever I go.

Such an adventurous while also simple menu - it's a fine balance. They serve great brunch and usually have have great specials to choose from to keep regulars interested. The staff are super friendly and helpful and they have a great quality wine list that shows they have chosen what is on the list carefully to fit the menu while also catering for the varying tastes of their clientele.

Is a new regular haunt for a weekend brunch with a wide and varied menu - suits a variety of tastes.
Staff generally polite except the girl on the door - rude and annoying- needs to pull her head in.
Otherwise the proprietor makes sure everything goes smoothly, though they seem chronically understaffed.
No reservations- respect that.. but disappointed as a 'regular' I couldn't flag up a table for my wife's 50th after a 16 hour flight from the US.
Guess you can't have everything in life...

Clean ., what one would expect from most cafes. Service is slow, but friendly, like most other cafes. Paid over $60.00 for 1 tea, 1 coffee, 1 only pancake with 5 strawberry s and 12 blueberrys, 1 so called milk shake that was in a glass not much bigger than a shot glass. I had eggs on toast?, literally, 1 slice of toast and 2 poached eggs plunked on top( $12.00) and nothing els. My daughter had an egg on toast with avo. All this for over $60.00. . . They won t see my money ever again.

Fantastic burger and house cooked baked beans, so good we had to share! The new menu looks even better than the last one, I want to try it all. Excellent double ristretto. The takeaway fridge provided me with a great chicken and leak pie for the family (it is now my daughter's favourite) and the pre-slow-cooked lamb shoulder tastes too good to be good for you...maybe once a month as a treat! I am going back!

Bland, tasteless food. Disgusting mango smoothie. Cushions so stained they look like they've come out of a teenage boy's bedroom. Rude, arrogant staff (who blatantly criticized my partner and I to one another) wearing hippy, harem pants and More
