The stand up comedy shows at Lincoln Lodge are fun! It's pretty much like sitting in your grandpa's basement listening to someone tell jokes, which is all right by me. The decor is dated, but that's what gives it it's charm.
The atmosphere is obviously laid back and low key, and with the right comics, can be a hilarious night on the cheap.
What a great venue to see a comedy show! Small, packed, and not a bad seat in the house! Everyone that worked there was nice & friendly. The comedians we saw leading up to the headliner were great. Such a good night!
One of the best Comedy clubs in Chicago. There prices are extremely reasonable for Chicago. And plenty of parking in the area. Lincoln Lodge has some of the funniest comedians I've seen in the city. It truly is one of Chicago's hidden gems. I highly recommend bringing a friend or a date to Lincoln Lodge as you will not be disappointed in any of the acts. I definitely will be back for more laughs. Great job .
Great experience. I laughed a lot. The new space is clean and has lots of potential the drinks were pretty reasonably priced as well. I'll def go back
This venue is one of the longest running comedy venues in Chicago. Everyone from TJ Miller ot Hannibal Burress has graced its stage. Although it's located in the back of a diner, there is nothing sleepy or amaturish about it. The staff is old school, the bar is stocked, the food is good. Go here for local comedy acts that won't break your bank.
saw a great show here this weekend. it's a cramped space and we somehow managed to get really bad seats in the last row on the main floor, behind four guys in hats who were well over six feet tall so we really couldn't see at all, so that was disappointing, but the comedians were funny.
Small, quaint place where every seat is a good one. The weekly Friday night stand-up comedy/variety show had the whole audience laughing so hard we were all in tears! THAT good! For only $10/ticket, it was a fantastic activity.
Great place to go for some good stand up comedy and large steiners of beer. There is also some pretty decent food here too. Nothing over the top but it'll fill you up with goodness. I've never had a bad experience here and recommend it for anyone looking for a nice low key night of fun.
I think admission to the comedy area is either free or so cheap I can't recall paying anything.

Ended up here after a night out and the comedy show had just ended. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and everyone had a good time and it felt like they got to know us personally. Will definitely be coming back for a stand-up show but this stands as one of my favorite nights in Chicago.
Have seen comedy shows here for years. Decor is hilarious- like an old aunt or uncle's place. Comics are great. Beer is in 32oz mugs too, which is great. Also free parking in back. Or next to Brown Line if, like me, you have too many of those big beers.
