Seats are uncomfortably small and the concessions were unreasonably high compared to a lot of arenas. Loved the show I attended, but the.venue is horrible and the construction makes it even worse. I recommend EKU Center for the arts in Richmond or Yum Centet in Louisville. Much better venues and likely cheaper since Rupp Arena charges way to much to those wanting to use the arena.

Needs some updating. This location definitely not up to the top notch facilities that other elite programs have. They need to look at the Louisville facility called the YUM Center. Very little food selection. Venue needs more food choices.
Concert itself was good.

The arena is aging. The space is cramped and tight per bleacher seat. You either get bumped from behind, or you are bumping someone in front of you. There are endless venues to enjoy, and good restaurants nearby.

Rupp is pretty typical of urban arenas. Lots of naked concrete and rows of seats a bit too close together. However, access is pretty easy, parking is abundant though pricey. Big name events are common with the usual grisly overpriced concessions and merchandise. In short, it's what you expect

Went to see 3Doors Down, Awesome concert, well accommodated, easy in easy out, great shops, Food court, Friendly Helpful Staff, you have but to ask. I was surprised that the full concert was able to flow seemlessly at the close of the show, no hiccups, and contant movement and we were outside making our way for cocktails at a friend's request. But that is another review....

I'm alifelong BIG BLUE NATION FAN.. So I'm sure I'm all in when it comes to catching a UK basketball game here @ Rupp ..... But they also do other events. Concerts-Conventions ETC.
The whole building has been renovated within the last year & there is a mall of many shops & a food court inside the building.
Conveniently located in the Central Business District of Downtown Lexington. Fine dining & many other establishments are within just a few minute walk from the arena.
If you have never attended an event or been near the Convention Center where Rupp Arena is located .... It sure is a place to put on your bucket list.
Hotels are even accessible through a Skywalker .. Next to the Arena.

From Big Blue Madness to Winter Jam, Rupp Arena has a little for everyone! The facilities are even nicer now that they've improved the sound system and installed the giant screens. This will always be a favorite place of ours! GO CATS!

I don't have one big complaint to put on here. I've had mostly good experiences at Rupp. There have been a few little staff interactions that have bothered me.

I LOVE UK basketball. I go to a lot of the games at Rupp with my step dad and we always have a great time. The arena is absolutely beautiful tho it can be a bit crowded in the seating areas if you're not made of money and youre not paying thousands of dollars for floor seats. Bathrooms have always been very clean and food is even yummy... Tho on the expensive side but that is to be expected at places like this.

The construction of the arena is humucus.but I know that they have to try to put so many seats in there. But for a handicap with a bad knee it was so hard to set. And if there were people to my left I couldn't of been able to stretch my knee out. and to put crutches I had to lay them in front in the ground and let people walk over them. And just so to let it known I don't think that you should have to pay 30 or 60 dollars more to have something just because you have a disability . I think that any concert or any actives that go on in Rupp Arena should be the same price as any seats. Because to me that is favorties some. Just because you have more money doesn't mean you are better than a person who sits in the crowns nest. I think that people should have that chance to sit close to the floor or close to a stage. With out having to pay an out rageous amount of money. And people save to get these tickets at least the ones who don't ever get that chance to be close to the floor or to a stage. I think that to me who has been coming there for along time that there should be better seats for when you are paying for a person who has a disability and the price is something that should never be then what the price of the ticket. To whom this my see this I know it will never change but I wanted to put my two cents in. Thanks
