security was quick to get everyone through. the seats are somewhat comfortable, but the nosebleed section doesnt have backs as they are just really steep bleachers. great tourist destination as there are restaurants on site at normal prices. the concessions are really expensive so eat before hand!!

Rupp arena made me buy a ticket for an 18 month old, then when I questioned it, they blamed it on the NCAA tournament. They didn't know we came from first two rounds at the Yum Center and no questions about an infant sitting on our laps there. Not only that but the ticket we had to purchase was for a random seat not anywhere near ours were so we spent money and the seat was no benefit whatsoever.

Saw a concert here, the layout of the arena is poorly thought out. It felt dated. The seats are very close together, no leg room! I was in section 14 on the lower level so I can only imagine I gets worse as the seats go up in level. trying to get to our seats I felt like I was having to practically bump into and crawl over people, and I'm a skinny person that can fit easily into tight areas. It was awkward. The bathrooms were not very clean. I've never been to a UK basketball game here so maybe that's a different experience? But I've seen concerts at other venues like Yum center in Louisville that was a much nicer environment.

Went here to see WWE Monday night raw and it was amazing. They have a parking lot that was easy to access. The setup inside Rupp Arena is nice. The concession stand and the bathrooms are easily accessible. The only bad thing was trying to go through the metal detectors. They don't have signs making it clear which line you need to be in based on if you have a purse or wheelchair etc.

The staff and security teams were very friendly, the bathrooms were clean and the First Aid team were awesome. Speaking of First Aid, my sister and I got a front seat at how they responded to and helped my mother after she suddenly became sick while we were there ... They were the unsung heroes of our evening. Many thanks to the staff at Rupp Arena!

Still has a bunch of bench seats. My back still hurts two days later. They've cheaped out on hot dog toppings even though the hot dogs and everything else are more expensive. They are not keeping up with newer sporting venues.

Rupp arena is one of the best places I've been to a concert, seeing Foo Fighters and Shinedown was amazing here. It's huge and meant for rock and roll. Parking is right across the street from Rupp which makes it very convient.

The mall that it's connected to is nice, but lacks any really good food places, as well as the benches in Rupp Arena on the second floor are rather uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time. Those two thing being my only real complaint.

From what I've heard they are renovating Rupp and getting rid of the benches altogether and putting in actual seats.

A mall , a convention center , and a stadium had a baby and made this massive structure. This is absolutely the best place for a comic convention or all day concert. The traffic can be a bit hectic due to multiple events being booked in the same area. (the hotel staff attached to the convention center were very nice to point us the right direction)

Four issues I have with Rupp:

Four issues I have with Rupp:
1. acoustics -- truly, deeply awful.
2. bleacher seats -- so shallow that I was constantly shifting forward to stay off the feet of those behind me, and so hard I had to keep putting my head between my knees to ease my back.
3. The upper arena was an agonizingly steep and prolonged haul, dangerously raked, inadequate in width, with no place to stop and rest. Going down was very hard on the knees.
4. Because ALL of the vending machines were empty, customers had to wait half an hour in line (standing on concrete, which killed my feet and back) at concessions to get anything to drink. There was no reason why Rupp could not have filled the vending machines with bottled water.

I am still in pain from spending an evening at Rupp, and expect to be so for several days. It is true that I am older, but I am fit, and work out regularly.

Very large, very well maintained venue for concerts and sporting events. Went to see a basketball game here and was really impressed by the size and amount of seating. The place was remarkably clean (even the toilets). Staff was really good at keeping everyone organized and moving, so getting in and out was very quick. I don't drive...but based on what I saw, the parking here could be an issue so you might want to arrive early to arrange that.

If you are in Lexington and the Cats are in town I strongly recommend that you see a game. It is an amazing venue that is easy to navigate, even for a handicapped person, which is unusual. Lots of stores and a nice food court as well, and plenty of parking nearby.
