Corporate office is extremely unprofessional and lack basic customer service skills. Corporate team members refuse to meet with me, a tenant with severely escalated service failures nor exhibit any accountability for their lack of service. I had NO HEAT, NONE all winter in my townhouse and for 2 MONTHS I had intermittent hot water, and let me clarify the water was cold, not room temp, not luke warm, cold. I tried numerous times to sit down with a manager in the corporate team and was very literally told (after I had the meeting booked) "these managers don't meet with residents..." I'm a manager in the corporate world and when my customers receive a service failure and is an escalated incident the last thing they have to do is hunt me down as I do not is hide behind local level employees like these people do. Strap on your boots and accept your failures, I'd be happy to donate an hour of my time to teach this to the corporate management team.

I currently have over 20 service requests ranging from no heat, flooding floors, to leaking AC, to small and mundane requests. They view a $100 credit as rectifiable for all of this and refuse to sit down with me and explain how $100 rectifies 4 months of no heat among all the other aforementioned when I pay over $2600/month for my townhouse.

Corporate does not care about you, this company operate with the "I'm too big and you're too small mentality" you're MUCH better off finding somewhere else to live that is not managed by the Lewis Group

Worst company ever. Had questions about a bill I received. Told them I already talked to the property where I lived and they couldn t answer my question. Instead of them calling me directly they have the same rude person I d already spoken with call me instead of calling themselves. Took several voicemails and days to even hear back from them, then they aren t even the ones who call. Never live at a Lewis property it s a joke

I had an interview and it went well. They responded quickly. What I like about the process is that it was quick as opposed to long drawn out. I submitted to the position, scheduled an interview and informed of position being filled ...all within a weeks time. I appreciate they did not waste time. Though I was not chosen, I like they knew what they want and proceed in the process for hire.

I have rented a home with Lewis Companies for 5yrs and they are definitely NON responsive and NOT professional and all of the above. I notified them 60 days before my lease was up of my departure. On the 29th of Dec. 2020, which was 2 days before I vacate, I called Charlotte about doing a move-out inspection. I was told that she was NOT going to happen until after new years. My response was " ok", but will you please contact me so that I can meet you at the property? Not getting a call after new years, I spoke with her (after calling multiple times and leaving message after message), was told that $80.00 would be with held because there was a grease spot on the wall at the entrance ( which I did not agree with) and that my deposit would be returned in 30 days.
Thirty one days later, I called to inquire about my deposit and was told it's in the mail minus $150.00 for touch up painting. First and foremost, I was not notified nor did I receive anything in writing about this decision.
After living in the home for five years, one would assume touch-up painting should be done because of reasonable wear and tear.
Considering the delays with mail because of COVID, I decided to be considerate and as patient as possible. Now we are on day sixty on and I am still getting the "It's in the mail" response from whom ever I can reach, because Charlotte at this point MIA (at least as far as I am concerned).
Today (3-2-2021), I finally talked with Charlotte and questioned her about the deduction from my deposit. Well it seems that I am paying for touch-up painting for the whole house now.
I really wish I could attach the photos of the condition the house was left in for everyone to see - professionally cleaned and spotless. I treated this property as if it was my own, because that's just the way I am ( basically a neat freak).
Getting nowhere with Charlotte about returning my $150 dollars, my next move is take it to small claims court. It's more about the principle and not the money.

My review is based on my experience with Lewis Companies - If you experience was better - Clap, Clap, and consider yourself lucky

I ll be contacting the main office about their new community in Chino Hills. It s been 2 weeks now since we moved in and pay over 2600. A month, and unable to sleep due to flashing street light in my bedroom window! Maintenance says they ve got it on their to do list, but they re more concerned with putting up more apartments than taking care of their new tenants. Also neighbors plumbing was miss hooked up and came up the first floor bathroom in the bedroom and neighbors sewage flooded the entire first floor. I made mention in the leasing office, and only got a smerk and grin. I think we should definitely get discounted this month as this is all UNACCEPTABLE!!

Very unfriendly office service specially when you're dropping off a lot of money to them. I work construction all day in the Heat sit on the freeway for 3 hours and they're in a air conditioning office at least smile and say thank you or something I did. 4:15 11/11

I have two fire alarms that have been beeping nonstop for 13 hours. I call for maintenance as soon as they open, only to be told the whole maintenance team for 860 apartments were off site!!. Told they would return at 1p.m.
Now being told 1:30. Between both alarms is only 20 seconds of peace. This is not acceptable for $2135 even if it is one day. I worked a 12 hour shift to come home to this. This is going to cost me a day of work due to lack of sleep. I have to be back at work with no sleep. FRUSTRATED
