The Leighinmohr House Hotel Review

Food was exquisite and the staff where amazingly attentive. Our wedding was the best day of our lives. All the rooms and bridal suite where fantastic.

This is a wonderful place in Ballymena. The staff and management are amazing. The food and accommodation is first class. The cost of staying and eating is so reasonable for the service you get. Definitely worth a drive to it xx

Was only in for coffee, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

Daughter's wedding was here and stayed overnight. Beautiful place, food was excellent, staff were pleasant and helpful, can't recommend highly enough

Meal in restaurant ,was well presented,good flavour,and waitress was so poliet.v cosy reception area with fire glowing which was welcom on wet day,as we met up for meal and chat .will be back again

The food here is second to none and I've eaten in some posh places. Completely unpretentious surroundings but really delicious and fairly priced food. We are in here all the time. The staff are also a real asset to the place. Keep up the good work.

Attended a friend's wedding, the hotel was amazing. Staff where very nice and the venue looked amazing. Lovely day spent here.

Booked Leighinmohr for my Dads 80th. Excellent service and the food was lovely. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be back.

Parking is excellent, hotel is beautiful with very friendly staff and excellent service me my girlfriend daughter got from front desk to bar and restaurant. Girls are 1st class in restaurant very polite with excellent service received. Couldnt have had any better. Food was very tasty with great selection. Downfall to our stay was our room didnt reflect the beautiful building and service we got. Rooms are stunning but need some finer detail cleaning. Beds immaculate super comfy but double bed headboard was plastered in thick dust which hasnt been touched in months as some of it fell on my face while reading the menu we received on entry to look at after unpacking. The tall fan in room was also soo soo dusty hasnt been touched from new and also all wooden trims. I hope the rest of the rooms are not like this as the hotel is just so lovely. Some more time spent on rooms this place deserves a 5star if improved. Thanks John

A really lovely experience staying at this hotel . Decor was beautiful staff were really friendly and the food was really lovely. Great value and highly recommend this hotel to everyone

Room was clean, though kettle wasn't situated properly as we had to move it to a socket to actually boil it & it leaked. Tv in room was tiny. Food was lovely, breakfast expecially. Bed was very comfy. Hotel was well organised for the covid regulations, in the bar especially. Overall was a nice overnight break away.

The reception rooms are beautifully decorated lots of comfy sofas lovely bar area with a great cocktail menu.
The bedroom was very good plenty of space comfortable bed very good quality bed linen.
Excellent food the breakfast was particularly good.
The staff were great, friendly helpful and despite being very busy they had time for everyone.

They must have gotten their ratings for their car park very poor room leaking water no window but a fire escape door that was blowing a draft all night reception could not get leek fixed till we checked out no apologies very poor will not stay again ever!!!

Had afternoon tea here last Saturday. There were ten of us and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.Food was lovely service excellent and price very reasonable. Hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the downstairs decor is so tasteful.The big coal fire on a very wet day was a bonus.Can't comment on bedrooms as we were not resident.

I went to this place for my great aunts birthday, all the others who went loved it, the food was nice... however I think there needs to be more vegetarian options on the menu, when I went there was only one thing on it and I didn t like the sound of it, as many people may not have, it may not be for everyone. Fortunately I am a pescatarian so I could have the salmon but I think there should be more choices on the main menu, this kind of ruined the visit for me as I had to choose something I didn t really want. I believe it is quite old fashioned really as most of there menu is meat and only 1 vegetarian/vegan option, disappointing to say the least

We had a gala ball here in October 2015 and i must say the hospitality we got from Adruan the manager and his staff were brilliant . I will certainly be back as couldnt of ask for better.Thanks again for everything x
