My girl started her journey with The Learning Lab ...

My girl started her journey with The Learning Lab in P3 and she is still enjoying the English classes. Parents spend a lot in enrichment classes so when your child is enjoying the classes and benefitting from them you know it's a worthwhile investment. I'm amazed at how she doesn't complain over the weekly homework from TLL (which she is unable to complete at times due to school work etc.).. I guess it's the teacher's approach and attitude that assures her that as long she puts in effort and does her best, all is well. She has been taught by Ms Camille and Ms Gan so far, and loves them both! The dedication and patience shown by the teachers are admirable and Marleen told me that she has learnt so much from them! When a student loves the teacher, the lesson is more fruitful and enjoyable. Marleen's writing skills have improved and she also enjoys the challenge of ppt presentation in class. Thank you to the great teachers at TLL who make the information-packed lessons so fun to attend!

I enrolled Kaela in the learning lab this year for English. She had problem catching up in the beginning, but with her teacher s encouragement and help, she is looking forward to her weekly lesson now.

After each lesson, Kaela is eager to share with me what she has learnt in class. The students are also given opportunities to give presentations, boasting their self-confidence and oral skills. Lessons are well-planned and exposed them to the real world. The students are also taught to organize their own notes for revision.

Recently, Kaela was given the opportunity to take part in the resilience campaign by TLL. The filming experience developed her in the non-academic aspect. She enjoyed the filming process, and came to realize that the few minutes of end product took a lot of hard work not seen on screen. Being part of the resilience campaign, we also talked about how we can be resilient in different aspects of her life.

I started my nephew in The Learning Lab 2.5 years ago when he was in P2. Being an easily distracted boy, his mind wandered off in class frequently and he was often not attentive in school. But at the Learning Lab, lessons are engaging and he readily contributes to class discussions. The feedback received from his TLL English teacher was very positive. With a dedicated/nurturing teacher and high quality learning materials, he has done very well in his P4 exams. Regular presentation assignments also improve his oral skills and boost his confidence. Most importantly, he enjoys the learning experience in TLL and looks forward to his lessons every week!!

Very poor customer service by customer service staff.
1) Staff, S*, was to call back for confirmation the next day but did not.
2) Staff provided options for my consideration only to be told that all are no longer available when contacted again.
3) Asked for call to be escalated and to be made back immediately that day to avoid a 3rd similar situation but was not responded to.
Overall frustrating and disappointing experience.

We enrolled Kaedee in The Learning Lab since K1 for both English and Mathematics. We have observed how Kaedee transformed from a quiet and reserved child into someone who is more confident and vocal. She looks forward to her weekly classes at TLL and is always eager to share with us what she has learnt during her lesson. We love how the lesson materials are meticulously and relevantly crafted to expose and relate the students to the real world. Learning fractions and percentage through World Cup and answering comprehension passage related to molecular gastronomy cuisine. All the real-life application lesson materials made learning more enticing and enjoyable for Kaedee.

Under the patience guidance of Ms Talia Ong, who has been her English teacher since K1, Kaedee has shown significant improvements in her grammar and comprehension components. Ms Ong also ignites Kaedee's passion for reading, Being an avid reader, Kaedee demonstrated better skills in planning and writing her creative writing plot.

The fun manipulatives and interactive learning conducted by Ms Jessica Kho and Ms Sheryl during her Maths lessons make difficult Maths concept easier to grasp. Kaedee is able to apply the concept learnt in a new context and presents solution accurately with proper steps. We were overjoyed when she came in top in Mathematics in level this year.

TLL also provides a holistic development to student's learning. Recently, Kaedee has the opportunity to be involved in a campaign that TLL, Asiamalls and ASPN organised. Through the personal interaction with students from ASPN, she is more socially aware of the values and skills needed of a socially inclusive community. We appreciate TLL for being the microcosms for the inclusive society that Singapore envisioned to be. #myTLLstory

It is quite expensive and they are not coping well with the Covid 19 pandemic. Firstly they had issues setting up an online platform and they took so long to set up one. They told parents " We're working on it" Secondly, there are issues withthe online classroom. Learning Lab, please improve and get back on your feet

One of the tutors that I trust my kid with. My kids started lessons with them since primary 3. He doing well in school with a pretty good attitude to school work.

I think the tutors download their work attitude and temperament to their students during class interaction, and the tutor has a hardworking and organized approach to work, so my kid have a mentor they look up to.

Lee-Ann has been with TLL since P1. She loves coming to TLL weekly as the teachers spark her interests in a wide array of topics and encourage her to be inquisitive self learner.

She was part of the TLL DREAMS Campaign where she shared candidly about her dream job to be the first female PM. She thoroughly enjoyed the filming process and definitely the outcome when she sees herself on TV screens outside TLL classroom. She had also made a lot more friends outside of the usual TLL classes as other kids strike up conversations about her ambition and she is thrilled to share with them.

My kid was with TLL for a year in English. My kid don t do well in Jun17. I asked sincerely to the teacher for help in Jun17 knowing that TLL concentrate on Comp and Compre while I work on the rest. Eg Grammar.

In Oct17, there was no improvement but deteriorated. I tried to ask for an immediate refund which I feel is a reasonable request. My kid cannot even maintain her not so good performance in Compo and Compre.

TLL also agree that they as a leading learning centre also does not guarantee that kids can get high marks. Also I appreciate if TLL can give parents sure win solution to help my kid but still claiming that changing another teacher is not guarantee for improvement.

Come on, parents worked hard to pay for your fees and do expect something (not high marks) from your centre. No solution at all.

So what is the thing that TLL can provide to justify your fees??

For those parents who wants to sign up for TLL, please think twice seriously.

My two kids have been with The learning lab. I think they started out quite strong but of late, their class sizes are bigger and yhe teaching is more inconsistent. There are plenty of worksheets and materials which are well-thought out and prepared, but the attention and teaching styles of the teachers differs widely.

I had thought my P3 dd was already quite strong in EL. After signing up with TLL, I realized how much more she can learn about the language. Materials were consistent and Ms Kiran was meticulous and keeps parents updated. She was selected for a recent video shooting event to befriend and get thoughtful gifts for children with special needs. I m grateful that TLL not only teaches academic excellence, but also teaches the children about social inclusivity and the real world.

My son has been with TLL for 4 years now. I have no problems with their entry assessments (not sure why some parents do). I actually do appreciate that the school tries to group children with similar learning abilities together so it doesn't slow down the progress of my child. Yes, price is premium but you get what you pay for. I don't have an issue with their pricing although I wish they offer sibling discounts and multiple subject discounts. Their online parent's portal is a real life saver and the new queue system is definitely more systematic. Gonna start my younger one at TLL Jr soon.

A leading and excellent tuition centre in ! Facilities are fashion-forward and classrooms are air conditioned.
Teachers are passionate, caring and encouraging.
Staff at the counter were very polite and helpful when I approached them, to make enquiries about The Learning Lab.
The materials and revision notes are well-prepared and exam-centred.
The Learning Lab is indeed a wonderful place that cultivates the love for learning in the children.

Pricey lessons with no breaks even during school holidays, Learning Lab collects tuition fees way in advance (almost 2 months) from parents. And because of the pricey lesson fees, parents have no choice but to make their children to continue their tuition classes during school holidays break despite that the centre is running some holiday program during this time.

Been with them for 3 years. Coping extremely badly with the pandemic. Its really not worth the price. Classes are conducted badly..teachers are already a hit and miss before this. Teachers keep changing. During this period, we were told to collect worksheets with some waiting 2 hrs for it. Then asked to log on to print and site went down. No apologies, no discounts from TLL though we now need to print materials at our own cost. Online lessons are badly conducted. Avoid. There are better places
