Great beer and they always have a food truck there which is a big plus.

Awesome tour by the brewery that produces some of the best craft beer in north Texas. The food truck they have onsite for the tours are fantastic as well.

Great selection of house beers, wonderful atmosphere with a view of the brewery, with a beer garden in the back offering a hand crafted pizza with purchase of course on certain days of the week. I visit this establishment frequently.

I was surprised by this place. It was in Garland and not too busy, yet it has some of the best beers I have had. I highly recommend trying their different stouts. The location is pretty unassuming and not as flashy as some of the other local spots, but there beer is far superior to most. If you have the time when in DFW, try going out of your way to enjoy a few hours here. You will relish it!

Great variety of beers, including many you can't get anywhere else. Wood paneled, laid back vibe (now with a handful of arcade machines). Parking can be tough, but that's standard at a brewery tap room.

Good brewery experience. Bar area is relaxing, grab a table and sample some great beer. Fast, friendly service at the bar. Large outdoor area with a pizza food truck. Dog friendly at the outside area. A couple of video games and a pinball machine.

Best Dam Brewery in Texas and their beers are on point they have a new Tennessee temptress that's amazing and they have a new jacked up lemonade that bomb and don't forget about their award-winning smooth IPA and employees are awesome. Schol ( cheers)

This is such a fun place, I come here almost every Thursday after work...lots of beers to choose from. Cassie has been the bartender on Thursday recently, she is so friendly and quite knowledgeable on what's on tap. Many times I go by her suggestion and it almost always works. Highly recommended this place if you are in this area.

Great taproom. Fantastic beer and entertainment. There's an extensive beer menu for a local brewery, lots of special and seasonal offerings. Clean and spacious.

My favorite brewery in the area. I've loved almost all of their beers. Have loved the brewery location for visiting, and now I love their drive up beer service during the pandemic. Great people

Temptress is the best beer ever. I love them all, but French Quater is my favorite.

Courtney was phenomenal!!! The other bartender (gray hair, didn't catch her name because of her unfriendly and unwelcoming nature) not so much, rude is the most polite word I can describe her with. I could obviously use a much more vulgar term, if I didn't have much class at all...which she didn't. If she was the only one there, we'd probably turn around and find another brewery to enjoy. On the other hand, I've enjoyed their beers many times and they have great brewers who know their craft well. Honestly, I'd make sure the people who rep my company would be a lot more friendly and cordial to consumers. It was my first time in the physical brewery, not sure I'll go back. Mainly because of this bartender.

This place is Great Wide Open Spaces and a ton of bar games from bags to arcade games even have Ninja Turtles Street Fighter 2 turbo and Galactica. Definitely check this place out great service and they have brews Galore. Check out their swag shop as it has a ton of great merchandise and awards

Growing up in Garland and becoming a huge beer advocate, I was extremely excited when a brewery finally opened up in my hometown. As it turned out, their beer is well renown in the area. First time I came in, I asked about merch that mentioned Garland, and I was told that the owner only came to Garland because it was cheaper than Lakewood, and they were not proud at all about the Garland aspect at all, hence no merch with the word 'Garland' on it. After getting over this and moving on, I have returned numerous times and only once out of maybe 10 times was treated like more than just a customer with a wallet. It is clear their main motivation is making money to pay for their massive setup, and anything relating to the true beer-fan customer comes only after they have exhausted their own agenda of making the sale first. Their beer is delicious, and if that's all you care about then come on in and drink up! For those who are looking for a more genuine experience there are many more small guys to check out nearby. I really wanted to give these guys 5 stars but sadly, after many attempts, they fell far from the mark. Great beer, yes, but very very poor customer service. Not Garland proud.

Went to the tour this weekend with my friends for the limited release of the Bourbon Aged Temptress. First the beers were great, be sure to show up early for the tours (little extra if a special release is that day). Lakewood has been open for just under a year and they already have put their product into bottles and growlers (if you can find the right location. Whole Food (Lakewood and Park Lane) as well as Craft and Growler by Fair Park. There are food trucks, music and a tasting of up to 4 beer for $10 cash or $11 credit card.

I will gladly comeback for more tours as they release more limited run brews.

Couldn't be happier the Dallas/Ft Worth craft beer scene is gaining a lot of ground.

When it comes to breweries it' all about the beer, and this beer is incredible. The place is pretty dang awesome as well. Nice outside venue. Went in December and the Christmas decorations were a nice touch.

Loved this place! Great service, the people are very knowledgeable and very attentive. Great atmosphere, they have some TVs but not too many or very loud so you can still have conversations without having to yell.

Great place to relax have fun and drink some great beer. Lovely section of milk stout. Don't count on the place having food but you can easily bring your own or order to have some delivered. I will definitely be coming back and plan to bring my family!

This brewery is top notch for dark beers. Well actually most of what they have lol. Their beers are solid body. Their parking is a bit tight but you can park on the street. Seating is CDC compliant and there are many options. Service is also great.

I finally got a chance to check out the brewery. Selection was good. I had the Saison and it did not disappoint! Tasty indeed. I would have given it 5 stars but I didn t feel a warm welcome from the bar staff. A little too aloof for my liking. Other than that, it was a winner in my book.

Love, love, LOVE this place!!! Everyone is always very friendly and knowledgeable about their brews. It's very clean and they play chill music. I have gone on the tour twice and learned some new information each time. This is a great place to hang out and chat with friends. I live pretty far SE but meet friends from North of Dallas here to drink, chat and eat. And if you go at the right time you can have a wonderful conversation with Dale!

I love this taproom! It's new, clean, and they have a great selection of beers. Their outside area is dog friendly and covered, which is so needed in Texas. They have a stage outside and some fun games like jenga and cornhole. But most importantly, the beer is delicious.

Always a great selection of tasty brews. I appreciate the rotation of Temptress varieties. Cozy bar and seating area with an overview of the brewery operations. Fifth star if the bar attendant didn't make me feel rushed.

Huge outdoor space to compliment the cozy taproom. Neat flexibility to walk neat the brewing equipment. Broad selection of beers - worth trying a six-sample flight. Hidden deal: used staves and barrels, for really competitive prices.

Such a great staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Was there for a wedding, such a great fun time, and the beer was great.

Our favorite place. The people, the beer, the memories. We have been going for 7 years now, and have held 3 major events (surprise birthdays, surprise engagement etc). Highly recommend.

Try a flight where you can taste multiple beers without breaking the bank. Surprising the food was up to par with their beer selection and it was all reasonable for the quality you were getting. Saturdays at 1 and 2 pm there are very informative tours through the brewery. The staff were all very knowledgeable about their products and everyone is laid back, so its fun for both novices and master beer enthusiasts. The French Quarter Temptress and the Venice Style Lager are great beers!! The bar atmosphere is fun and quirky with old Atari arcade games to play while you wait for some awesome pizza! Highly recommend!

Beer is phenomenal! Been buying and drinking Temptress for months. But service in the tap room and pizza truck does not meet the level of quality of the beer.

Stop by and get some to go beer. I did yesterday and the service was great. I love coming to this place. Can t wait to actually sit back at the bar and have a pint.

The server behind the counter was wonderful and very polite. When I came to the bar for my second Coconut Temptress, he was out back grabbing more clean glasses. The owner of the establishment was behind the bar, but refused to even recognize my existence for 5 full minutes. Mind you, no one else was asking for a drink at that time. While he saw me there he could not be bothered to even come over and tell me it would be a bit due to the circumstances. No. He would glance over at me from behind the bar 4 times and continue his conversation. It's a great place and the beer is delicious, but the owner (or one of them) could possibly attempt to appreciate their patrons. That said, the bartender was very courteous. The 4 stars is for the bartender. The owner gets ZERO stars for being a jerk.

I have never had a bad experience or a bad beer at Lakewood Brewery. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Great beer! The pizza truck outside was delish! They allow dogs outside in the beer garden and inside there is plenty of seating and board games. I'll definitely come back.

Delicious beer and fantastic service from Josh, as always. Lakewood always has amazing beers on tap and a great staff to show you the ropes. Go drink their deliciousness! You won't be disappointed!

I went to Lakewood to buy the new french toast. The beer taste great, but it took 30 mins to get two growlers and one of the lids was not secured and over half leaked out on my way home.

What an amazing experience for me to finally visit Lakewood Brewing Company. I know the owners and they are so nice, I really wanted to support their business. Driving here you will absolutely think you got lost, but you didn t! just keep going, because the place is well worth it. I smiled the moment I saw Lakewood Brewing Company, because it s modern design is so inviting. Great venue with lots of good beer options. Didn't have any food trucks there on Sunday so be prepared for that.

Cool place. Loved the tour; it was informative and funny at the same time. The beer is excellent-just try everything! They also have many board games to choose from that make this a great place to get great beer and hangout with friends.

The beer selection is incredible. The entire staff is knowledge about beer overall and each beer being served. I love the tap room inside and the patio area outside as well. I've gone to many events there and they always do a good job at organizing.

Really enjoyed our first experience at Lakewood! Really enjoyed the variety of beer options that aren't found in stores and that there was a pizza food truck out back. It was a little cold to sit outside or in the back room, but once it warms up there would be a lot of seating options. Only downside is that they couldn't sell any beer to-go, but that isn't the fault of the brewery (it's the fault of dumb Texas beer laws).

It has plenty of seats inside and even more seating outside. The covered area outdoors is much bigger than most other outdoor brewery spaces - did I mention it's covered? Most of the other ones aren't (or have the small table umbrellas where the shade keeps moving). This is great for people who like to take their dogs out with them and therefore must sit outdoors.

They've got corn hole and a tether ball and a fire pit that might see use in the winter.

The restrooms are nice, and there are plenty of stalls in the ladies' room. There is even a baby changing station right on the counter.

Almost forgot to mention the beer - is it not safe to assume that most people know that Lakewood makes good beer? Well, they do. My favorites today were Red Wine Till & Toil and Raspberry Temptress. We always love the French Quarter Temptress.

It's just like cheers in here, when you walk in everyone shouts Norm! Regardless if that's your name or not, fortunately for me I go by Norm on Thursday on lower Greenville. On upper Greenville I go by Lee greenwood, but that's another post altogether.

Great beer great venue, they have enough seating to accommodate parties and walk-ins all at once. Awesome staff too. Come here if you are in the area. The 9n draft soda and root beer are great for nondrinkers.

Incredible Beer and great atmosphere, only thing I would change is they need more seating, but can't fault them for being crowded. Punkel (back middle) was easily my favorite.

Did a brewery tour with Tim as our guide. It/He was awesome! He was knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. He had answers to all of my and others' questions and took the time to connect with everyone without it feeling rushed. He offered the perfect balance of information; explained basic concepts to beer newbies and elaborated on details for those with a prior interest. Great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Also, every beer we've had has been delicious.

Great selection of interesting beers. The taproom is great, but there's also a nice outdoor area out back if you want to have a party here or just have a lot of people and need the space.

One of my favorite local breweries. Everyone is friendly and the beer is great (especially Temptress!) The indoor space has plenty of seating, and they have an outdoor area when the weather is nice or if you want to bring your dog. We went on the tour when we had family in town and found it interesting, especially my husband who home brews. We ve been here a bunch of times and will continue to keep coming back!

Great. yes I said great place been going there since they first opened. Take my wife and kids all the time. Great place to celebrate a birthday.
