Very tasty. Great service. I had the 10 oz top sirloin. It was very good but would have perfered if it was a bit thinner cut. The cut tonight was more round. It was tough the keep still to cut.

The Keg always makes me feel like I'm visiting a dungeon, no windows, dark but it is part of the ambience that I suppose it builds on. Top notch and fast service, excellent food. Would I go again, yes, when I can afford it!

Their happy hour is exceptional value. Price for quality is 10/10 would highly recommend the calamari my personal favourite. Great drinks too!

Pretty patio with great heaters for fall dining. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Steaks and appies were cooked to perfection.

Usually goto the Keg in Burlington, but she was all booked up, only taking reservations. The Waterdown Keg is only a few minutes further and had a spot for 2 open. And as ALWAYS, the food was excellent, the service was good too. Oliver was there exactly when we needed him, no more no less. I had the Keg Classic New York, baker loaded, and my wife had the Sirloin Oscar. Equally as great as all the excellent steaks we've had at the Burlington location. Good to see restaurants being busy during the pandemic too!

We had a superb at this spot. We enjoyed the amazing vibes and the menu. The waiters are very attentive. I m content we finally managed to try this place.

Very very good service from the front desk to exit. Make sure you make a reservation during the COVID pandemic or you won t get in. The food was perfectly cooked, the server Eryka was knowledgeable, we felt very welcome and appreciated as we celebrated our engagement. This location also has an espresso machine (not all do) and makes a great cappuccino!

We had reservations, yet had to wait for half am hour and watched many others seated before us and even as our buzzer went off we were ignored , which did not start the experience out great.
However our server Kyle displayed exemplary customer service which is why I am giving the 5 stars. He was very friendly, patient and enthusiastic. Thank you for the great experience!

Amazing food, and received a free desert when they learned of my promotion which was a nice touch! Asked for a rare steak and got medium rare, but still 5 stars because it was amazing regardless.

We celebrated 21 year anniversary. And during covid we felt safe and welcomed. Our server Carolyn was outstanding and made some great food recommendations that made the great meal even better. Watched how they thoroughly cleaned everything and felt confident that we were safe. My wife and I ordered different steaks and cooked differently and the food was prepared perfectly. First time at this keg and was not disappointed. Sorry other Kegs I'm going to come here from now on.

Honestly I was a little disappointed, usually with keg restaurants you leave happy and stuffed. My wife and I went out for dinner for the first time since March due to covid. It was our anniversary special dinner. My baseball steak was tough but I was starving so I ate it anyways, baked potatoe was dry and flavorless, veggies over cooked and burnt. I didn't complain to the waitress it was a special night. I would have thought kicking things off after covid restaurants would want to excite customers and give them something to talk about.. but it was below keg standards.

Nina is the best server! She treated us like family and was full of smiles and jokes. Thanks Nina! My family is primarily meat eaters but my girlfriend and I are vegetarian so we were pleased with the cauliflower dish.

This Waterdown location has never let us down. Great food and friendly service.

last 2 times there it took 20 min to be even acknowledged.They did make up for it both times, but it's now left a not wanna return again

Great dinner tonight. Three people got Keg Classic steaks with Caesar or shrimp cocktail. One got peppercorn steak. Good, friendly service. Always a reliable choice.

My fiance and myself visited this evening. Food was amazing, always has been in the past as well.The entire meal was perfect from the first appetizer to dessert. Staff were more then pleasant and made our evening lovely. Every time we visit on rare occasions, we always forget how lovely the setting truly is from start to finish. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner a great one.

We love this location. It's our go to for birthday's and our anniversary. It's consistently great and the people are incredibly caring.

I have never once had anything but fantastic experiences here. The food quality is always top notch and the service is exemplary.

Wonderful service. She was great . Screwed up the tip and hit 0.18 instead of 18 %. She didn't even blink a eye. Learning what happened we felt horrible and called her back to give her a proper tip.she was a wonderful sever

Took my family to The Keg for my husbands birthday. Came in for 7:00, for we could not get a reservation but, the person on the phone said it would be a better time to come in to avoid a long wait. Once we got there , hostess advised 1 hr & 15 mins wait which was fine. Sat at the bar until we were called. We waited for 2 hours! The bar staff gave us excellent service (Justin). He was concerned and went to the front desk. I also went up as well. They basically forgot about us!!! Waitress was ok. Was not personable or friendly at all. The manager did not come over to our table with an apology or was at the least concerned. He was well aware we were disappointed. Didn't eat most of our dinner. Food was good as always but didn't have the time to enjoy. Such a disappointment! Next time Cumbrea's steak dinner at home!

One of the better Kegs. Unlike others, they can actually cook your steak properly.

An excellent restaurant that has very high quality meals, that are extremely satisfying. You can expect polite , and excellent service. If you are celebrating an anniversary, tell the server and you will get a free desert. The prices are a little high, but we'll worth the price.

Came here for anniversary, was not impressed with the side of king crab,
I'm sure no crabs were harmed in the making this side dish.
Have been coming here for five plus years oh, and it just seems the couple times we've come after the pandemic has been not up to par...
First time we left hungry (that's never happened before) Second time for king crab side, they give us one small (half hollow) leg and some knuckles at $25 bucks. Did not want to complain at the time, but extremely disappointed..

Awesome good but don't expect to be seated quickly on a weekend.

Service was quick and the waiter was friendly. I got the Keg burger and it was amazing and all the other people I was with enjoyed their meals and drinks.

Fantastic food. My wife and I have made Waterdown our preferred Keg restaurant. Other kegs don't have the same welcome feeling with sincere attitudes, and food is top notch every time.
PS - waitress Martha is the best, such a sweetheart, great attitude, you can tell she really loves her job.

I actually enjoyed their dishes and service, excellent area right next to my residence. The cashiers are always super nice. I highly recommend this place.

I ve been to The Keg countless number of times but never this location. Last night we celebrated my wife s birthday here. Our experience from the moment we walked in until the moment we left was fantastic! Our drinks, appetizers, entrees and dessert were all fabulous! Last but not least, our server Carolyn, went above and beyond and we would definitely request to sit in her area when we return! Thank you.

Usually the Keg is a pretty solid choice for dinner. My son and I both got the Top Sirloin, med. rare. His was more blue rare and mine on the border. His also had a strip of grissle that amounted to half the steak. There's no way they didn't see that before it went on the grill. He hates when I complain so I didn't say anything at the time. The lone bright spot was the server who was attentive and chipper, otherwise this visit would have received no stars instead of 2.

Great food and great service. I go to this location a few times a year with my girlfriends. Always a good time and delicious steak. I will add that they always want us to leave but I admit that we are likely overstaying our welcome ;)

Always an anticipated visit. I've been to a few other locations and although the decor and ambience varies from place to place the friendly service and quality of the meal is consistently excellent.

Always good but the chef outdid himself this visit, rib steak was cooked to perfection.

Everything was top-notch!! The food was perfectly prepared, hot and delicious. Service was excellent. Glad our poor experience a year ago seems to have been a fluke.

2018:
We love The Keg and have been many times, but were really disappointed with our last visit here. The French onion soup, which has been an old favorite of ours had hardly any bread or cheese on it. It came from the kitchen nuclear hot, which we luckily did notice, but it was on the dangerous side of hot. My prime rib was tasty, but my companion's "herb butter sauce" (extra charge) for his steak was frozen through and dumped on top. It didn't melt in time for him to eat the food. My frizzled onions were cold and dry. Disappointed in a usually reliable go to for a nice night out.

Best Steak I have had yet! Ceasars were excellent too!

Always tasty, great quality and perfectly cooked meat and veggies. Nice place to go once in a while!

Waiter told me I'd get my own bill, ended up having another person at our table pay for me.

This location is pretty hit or miss. Latest visit was a miss. Maybe turtle jacks will actually send a server over.

I am usually quite happy with The Keg, they are careful about allergies etc. This particular visit was a near disaster. Mains took over 45 minutes to arrive, and were " wrong". Both steaks ( mine and my companion's ) were over done. The second steak was supposed to be a 'special, mushroom coated with a mush sauce to accompany; neither of which was present, though when pointed out a plate of sauteed mushrooms was very quickly brought out. My very rare filet had a strip of overcooked bacon placed on top in lieu of the bacon wrapping. We were offered replacements, but declined, mainly because we just didn't want to wait for another meal...we were given a complimentary dessert and the bill was reduced by half. The waitress who served us was lovely, very apologetic. I do realize that any one restaurant can have an off night, this will try The Keg again, though not likely that particular location IMHO, they probably should have comp'd the whole meal, perhaps just charging for the drinks....NB I have worked in the industry; for over 20 years, both front and back of house...now I teach it
