The Jefferson Hotel Washington DC Review

I can t say enough about our experience at the Jefferson. The customer focus, passion and personal commitment to excellence by everyone we met on the team was incredible. An amazing stay in an exciting city. We will definitely be returning to Jefferson on our next visit to DC.

Excellent service. Creative and Delicious Brunch. Lobster Benedict and Crab Benedict. Expensive Bellinis! Small fried chicken portion.

Had a great time at the quill. Music was on point and everything we had to eat was amazing!

Beautiful building. Hard-working, knowledgeable and pleasant staff. I won an overnight stay. I didn't eat in any of their restaurants, but enjoyed reading the menus. Expensive but if you have the funds, enjoy.

The restaurant is beautiful. It's historic and elegant. The food could use some more flavor though. Wonderfully presented and cooked to perfect, it just leave depth to flavor

Great place if you want a classy drink with someone classy, in a classy place!

We had brunch in the Greenhouse wine room for a party of 8. The greenhouse is definitely fancy (I dare say fancy shmancy) and the wine room even one step fancier. Service excellent - no one flinched when 3 of our party showed up 45 mins late. They adapted the menu well for our one vegan. The food is pricey for sure, but definitely did not let us down. I highly, highly recommend the crab cake eggs Benedict. No English muffin. The crab cakes are the base for the eggs. Fantastic!

Didn't stay but went to plume restaurant inside the Jefferson. The hotel seemed nice from the outside and in.

Exceptional service. My family and I had a great time staying here for 4 nights. They accommodated us in every way you could imagine. Remembered our names, accommodated our infant child, rooms were spotless. Love the boutique vibe - small, quiet, quaint. When I am in DC again, The Jefferson will be 1st on my list.

My friends and I ordered mixed drinks at the Quill. It's an elegant bar fitting to The Jefferson. We apparently came in on a slow night, but it was still very pleasant. Clientele were mostly middle aged and older.

I'm Soo Jungwon from Seoul korea ! The hotel is very nice as I felt like I was back in time , when I stay I usually enjoy it ! But what is a nice place with unpleasant staff. The employees were not to welcoming of my son ! And repeatedly stared at him and asked him why he was there ! My son told me they didn't really like him sitting in the lounge . I asked him if they said anything to him directly . He replied no , but they spoke among other co-workers ,and he felt unwelcome . I'm not sure if it is because he is mixed he was treated this way . They shouldn't judge people by looks so much he said . I'm a mother who is not happy if my children aren't happy ! If a person has the money why question them?! Cash Money has one color in America and its green! Unless it's plastic ! Lol

Truly the epitome of excellence. The staff and service we're phenomenal, everything we could want was already provided and the whole team went out of their way to make it a special experience. The rooms are exquisitely decorated and meticulously maintained. The food is spectacular. And, I cannot mention this enough, but the entire staff seems truly committed to making the experience memorable. Definitely worthy of a return visit!

There are SO many choices in DC that advertise as luxury hotels, restaurants, bars, etc. And in this area especially, being trendy and expensive is mistaken for being synonymous with "good," while truly impeccable service is hard to come by.
At the Jefferson, you get what you pay for and even more in the details.

Concierge was helpful. Accommodations were plentiful. It was an awesome view of the George Washington Monument from the Jefferson Suite.

Such a lovely spot for a breakfast, lunch or dinner. Attentive staff and beautiful decor.

Also have attended several private events here that were done very well with wonderful food, a quiet and pretty setting and outstanding service.

I visited a friend there. Awesome place. Friendly staff. Even tho hallways and elevators are extremely cozy.

A very very great hotel down to the smallest detail. This hotel did everything right and they go the extra mile to take care of you. I came here on business, but when I come back for a personal trip this hotel will be number one on my list.

The portabello sandwich was absolutely delicious. The staff were very attentive. The food menu is quite limited, however. Everything was expensive too.

This is an elegant, special hotel with perfection in every corner. Details are perfectly thought out and the service is on target. I would live here if I could!

We've done two happy hours for Columbia Business School Alumni in this is quiet refined gem of a hotel bar, Quill, which is arguably my favorite in the city. Staunch club supporter Dan Anglin of Prince Henry Navigator funds presented his major gift to me there.

I went there for a celebratory meal as well, and the service was outstanding: when ladies sit, out come foot stools, very plus, for the lady's handbag -- lest it get 'dirty' on the pristine floor. And when you depart, the staff presents you with a parchment printed with the wines you consumed, for future reference - and knowing that in your tipsy state you'd never remember on your own.

Jefferson is a wonderful experience for our special time in DC. We had our wedding reception at the Plume. It was amazing and the food was delicious! Jefferson exudes luxury in very way.

The Jefferson is appointed in all the standard hotel trimmings, but the decore, trimmings, and service evoke something almost reminiscent of a redone mansion. Don't let the solid wood and leather furniture fool you though, this hotel is also very modern, with a library that can be turned private at the flick of a switch, TV's hidden in the bathroom mirrors, and several lighting options in each room. The hotel succeeds in a grand theme without feeling kitch, and is worth a stay, or at least a.duck.into the bar.

Very clean and new feeling. Every inch of the shower looked brand new, including the shower head and the drain. Awesome water pressure was completely adjustable, from drizzle to jet engine. Floor under and behind the desk was clean, no gunk found. Great amenities like very good coffee, cool remote-control window blinds, electronic do-not-disturb button. Quality service: beds were turned down and room straightened while we were at dinner, even at our strange late dinner times. Never had to touch the hotel door, mutiple doorman always there to hold it and were so polite. Definitely would stay here again, well worth appx 400 a night I paid. Stayed in room 610 for 2 nights.

This is a great place for brunch. I came with my girls it s very cute and pretty for photos or special occasions. recommended no kids because it s a tight space and it s very quiet. menu has a variety of options however it is on the pricey end.

Truly luxurious hotel with pieces of history. Valet did an exceptional job with unloading and taking our bags up to our room. Reception was quick to check us in during the late hours. The room was clean and perfect. We were also shown around the wine storage which has a massive collection. The gym was small but had enough to get a quick workout in. Lastly, the location can get any better.
